Errors downloading HTC Hub from Marketplace - 7 Mozart General

Hi All,
Just got my Mozart. Let the fun begin!
Anyone else with a Telstra Mozart have issues downloading apps? I've tried both the Converter and Stocks app and both have an error installing..." Can't play or download. There's a problem with the licence."

+1 errors downloading HTC Hub + HTC App Updates
Same here on HTC 7 Mozart Telstra Australia
Bummer..

I've downloaded quite a few apps, just couldn't download Microsoft's World Clock app, but everything else was fine!

Yep, I'm getting the same error for all of the HTC hub apps.

Getting the same error on my trophy. Also getting it with the game Unite. Any Ideas?
Can't open htc hub from the main screen anymore either.

Thanks. I was thinking about a factory reset but it seems like there's more at play. Not sure if there's anything we can do.
Also, has anyone found where the WiFi mac address is? I had to disable my access list on my router, connect and then note the address...

yes same here with Telstra. After retrying some apps like ebay, they eventually installed, but still so so many with errors. Also errors with Exchange email

I bought a 7Mozart on Telstra yesterday. Same problem as you guys.
HTC Hub and a afew other HTC apps (e.g. Photo Enhancer) came preinstalled and were working fine. But I then tried to "download" the other HTC apps (e.g. Flashlight) as well as "update" the stock ones (e.g. Hub). When they started installing I got the "Can't play or download. There's a problem with the licence." message on all of them and then all of my other HTC apps started failing (could no longer open any of them). And now the HTC apps section of the marketplace appears to have been pulled down, which probably means they know they are bugged.
I ended up uninstalling all of the HTC apps and I guess I'll just wait until they put them back up (hopefully fixed).
Apart from that hiccup, my WP7 is going great!

I'm getting the license error too

I'm still having this issue. Only on updates, I can download new apps just fine.

Can't install apps from HTC hub?

I get 'This item is not available from the Marketplace catalogue'
edit: now nothing from marketplace is working...same message.
No ideas?
This is driving me crazy D= Since I installed adobe reader and newsroom *nothing* else installs.
EDIT: The only way I can install apps is to buy them on Zune - they don't show up on the phone - then I have to find them in marketplace on the handset and install again and then it works. Obviously this is no help for HTC apps.

[Q] Market Web Installs never start downloading.

Market web installs from "market android com" never start. ('m not allowed to post links)
Under "My Devices" in the settings page it shows my Atrix, It has a "Registered on" date (today) but it doesn't have a "Last Used" date (it shows a dash).
I have followed all the suggestions on the help page. (log in, log out)
My Market App version is 2.3.2.
Google Talk works. The Market App works. Clearing Data and Cache for the Market doesn't help any.
I'm signed in with a regular Google account. (not an apps account)
Any suggestions?
This might sound obvious, but have you tried restarting it or resetting it?
Yep. Lots of restarts.
Does the market work on anyone else's Atrix or is it just me?
I read somewhere that if you open Google Talk and sign out then sign back in, it should get the market web installs working because of a communication problem.

Yeah, that's on the help page. Didn't work.
Empty market cache, and uninstall market upgrades (if any). Had the same problem before with other phones, I do not think this is atrix specific.
Getting the market to upgrade afterwards required some manual steps as well. Too lazy to look that up now though, just google it.

I emptied the cache and uninstalled updates. On the first launch I got the old market, on the second launch it had upgraded back to the new one. I also tried a reboot. Still doesn't work. Good idea though, thanks.
Bump! Any fixes for this? I'm having the same issues. The Market web store even lists my phone being last used on Feb 25 (the last day it was pushing app downloads from my computer). However, when I download apps from my phone, it shows up on my account online.

I thought I was having this same problem, but I was in battery saver mode and had auto-sync disabled. After re-enabling it, the downloads just began automatically.
I had the same issues at first and tried all th above fixes and the ones on the google help page. nothing worked at first. i waited a few hours and tried downloading again and everything worked fine. i can't really explain how but it just started working.
I have had this problem for 5 days =/ Now I just chrome to phone the link and open it with market =/ I have done all the above, contacted Google and posted at Motorola Site. Nothing works.
Darn I am having the same issue. Just got my Atrix an hour or two ago...so we will see what happens. I'll try and keep you updated.
Edit: Mine just started working, so I don't know what the problem with yours is. Hope you get it worked out.
I have same problem here with my Hd2 DFT android Rom maket works fine but it never start downloading any apps :/ please some help ??!!
Do you have apps/the market to update only on wifi? And you haven't opened the apps to have them generate an, "I'm here", marker for the market to send you stuff, when you were hooked up to wifi?
I wondered the same thing...
Good news guys Google talk was not working for me so I re flashed my phone and reconfigure it now Google talk work and market too I don't know if it will works for you but for me it working great now hope it help a bit
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Port 5228
This may not help everyone, but I ran into this same problem.
Each day, my downloads weren't sent to my phone and my gmail wasn't pushing consistently, but by the time I got home, everything seemed to be working again. I noticed that I was also unable to log into google talk on my office's wifi (which seems to be the key to getting everything else to work). A coworker with a samsung android phone was having the same problem.
We worked with our network administrator to unblock certain ports on the wifi firewall. We finally resolved this issue by opening port 5228. Now everything is pushing correctly. See if this port is blocked on your wifi.
The weird thing that kept throwing me off is that even if I switched off wifi and used ATT, it was still having problems for a period of time.

Chrome to Mobile Issue/Device and google account sync issue

Okay so I got my first prime in january and then RMA 'd it and got a new one back...but being the "smart" one I am I had backed everything uip on titanium backup, so when I got my replacement I simply rooted it and restored.... NOW THE PROBLEM
though I registered my replacement Prime iwhen i look on my devices on google it says it was never used....and my old one has not been used since RMA.....so google cannot find my device
This has made installing apps from desktop site impossible and worst off it has made chrome to mobile impossible. When I try to use chrome to obile it sees two primes....Weird because I nnever had it on the first one.... if I have the chrome to mobile turned on and will say it sent a page but the Prime never gets it....if C2M is off it always still sees one
Any advice or ideas? I have tried removing account and then adding..no help
MASSIVE UPDATE
Got rid of the diuplicate listing and got market to install apps from web
but C2M doesnt work yet....but I found out how it woirks... it uses cloud printing ito send the link so after messing with some things at https://www.google.com/cloudprint/#jobs It now says that it cant send pages and if I just try to use cloud print it says that it sent it but couldnt notify it..... so again, any ideas?

[Q] Force closing downloads and pc connection issues with One X+

Phone: HTC One X+
Carrier: EE4G
Android version: 4.1.1
Never been rooted.
I have searched everywhere in the forum and online and I can't for the life of me find anyone who's had the same problem as me. My phone has been working fine up until about a month ago when I noticed that when I tried to download something (bus timetable .pdf), the download would show as pending in the status bar for a few seconds then disappear completely without downloading. I then opened the downloads app (as I had saved something from the browser) which stayed open for a few seconds before force closing. Thinking this was weird I then attempted to test to see if I could still download apps so I opened Google Play and tried to download an app and the same problem occurred (when I've had 0 problems before), the download would show as pending in the status bar, then disappear after a few seconds. Now any attempts to open play store result in an immediate force close. This happens with any program that downloads things as well as a few others.
Programs that force close;
Google Play Store
Downloads
Gallery
Music (every 4-5 songs)
I've done a soft reset, deleted all the recent apps I downloaded, but still this problem persists. I have already been in contact with EE and HTC and all the best they can prescribe is to factory reset the phone. I have a lot of music, files, pictures on my phone that I do not want deleted so my plan was to drag and drop everything onto my pc, do the reset then re add the files.
The problem with this however is that since I updated to Jellybean, my computer (win 7) has not recognized my phone. Everything worked fine before. I have installed and re installed sync and sync manager, (also clearing the files for sync on my phone). I get the image of an Portable Media Player with HTC ONE X on My Computer, but when you click it it just opens an empty folder. HTC sync says that it doesn't recognize my phone is connected either.
So basically what I am asking is how can I either;
- Allow downloads to work properly again and stop my apps from force closing?
or if this isn't possible without a factory reset
- How can I get my PC to recognize my phone so I can transfer all my files and back them up?
Hope I have given all relative information. I hope someone has the answer! Thanks!

[Q] Device Manager Internal Server Error 500

I've been having an odd issue lately with Android Device Manager. From my main Google account I am getting "Internal Server Error 500" when going to the device manager website https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager. It happens from my computer and from all of my devices. If I sign into my other Google account, which I rarely use anymore the page loads just fine from the same devices. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or has any resolution. It's very annoying.

Lot's of people are having the same issue. Mine started with my main account when trying several stock roms on a moto G LTE. Like 3 or 4 on the same day. After that something went wrong and now I'm getting the same error with my main account (other accounts work as intended). Also on the google dashboard the "android" sections has the "warning triangle" error. I cannot install apps from web google play store to my phone but can install them from the google play app. It seems that the "web link" to the phone is no working. Dunno how to fix it, but at this point i think that there is nothing we can do from our side.
