My Mozart won't shutdown - 7 Mozart General

Heard about this earlier this week. When I hold the power button to shut my phone down, instead of turning off it reboots...
Any one else experienceing this?

Nope. Mine shuts down and powers off everytime. It even says Goodbye.

what a polite phone that's why i'm getting one soon maybe there's an option somewhere that dictates the power button behaviour?

This must be a small glitch..
It happened to me the first two times.
It is becaused you press the button to shut down for too long that the phone also records a wake up button.
Leave the button immediately after you see the goodbye coming and it would shut down properly

Photon power button not responding from full power down

When my Photon is completely off, it takes 4-5 on button presses to get it to turn on. This only started happening recently. Strangely, there's no problem in turning the screen on and off once the phone is actually on.
Anyone else have this issue? This started occurring to me within the past day.
You have to hold button down for about 5 seconds
Sent from my Photon.
I usually have to hold my power button down for about 5 seconds as well before it'll power on. Nothing odd there.

Unable to boot up

I have no idea what caused this, but I can briefly explain the scenario..
After the .21 update, I found my Prime to be a little lag-gy (you know like when your desktop is on for quite a long time, you try to reboot), so I wanted to turn it off, then turn it on again. To my horror after I turned it off, I could not turn it on again. All I can is have this vibration that's supposed to occur at 3 seconds normally, at 12 seconds of holding down the power button.
After doing some research , others that have similar issues of unable to boot tried holding down the power button for 30 seconds.. 60 seconds.. and multiple times.. I've tried it, but nothing worked.
I tried the cold boot, holding VOL Down plus power button as well. No luck.
Lastly, tried the soft reset button. Tried it holding down with power button and pressing it separately. Still no luck.
I tried it with and without dock. Everything almost the same except when I
'close' the tablet with the dock.. holding the power button does not do anything, but when i 'opened' it, 3 seconds I will get the vibration, but nothing will be shown on the screen. Totally blank.
Anyone can help? I'm going to send for RMA at worse scenerio but I need help asap cause I need to use it later in the day. :/
EDIT: Oops forgot to include something else.
That was 3 days ago, I managed to get it working 2 nights ago, but after I went to sleep, and woke up. Heck, its off again. I have no idea how I got it working. All i know was, I brought it out, didn't use it, about after 8 hours I reach home, I sat on my chair thinking of sending it for repair and tried my last attempt to on it, it loaded perfectly. Then... this happened...
After I connected my tablet to the computer and try to turn it on, Windows detect APX. But the driver installation. Wonder if this information would be useful.
Again new information don't know whether this is useful or not, my volume up button was faulty about a week ago. Sometimes my volume just automatically goes up on its own, probably the button is spoilt that its permanently or most of the time held down. And after some Google-ing, volume up and power on apparently causes the tablet to go in this APX mode..

Occasional hang/reboot?

Running stock, latest ota(not ics), with root. Once every few weeks I get a situation where I use the phone, turn off the screen and put it down. Look over a few minutes later and see screen off but realize the buttons are illuminated. If i hit the power button to turn on the screen nothing happens. If i hold the power button the phone reboots. Seems every phone I've ever owned has ended up with occassional random reboots. Just wondering if others experience this to.

Is my Galaxy hardware fried? Question about constant reboots.

So last week my phone started acting a bit strange. The side power button began not functioning properly. Basically - when I press the button to turn the screen off it is unresponsive 90% of the time, or it will load the "Shut-Down Menu" on even the slightest touch. Furthermore, my phone will constantly just shut off. Sometimes this happens when I am using the phone or other times when I'm just trying to turn the screen off the whole phone will just shut down.
There seems to be no constant circumstance that makes the phone shut off, it happens all the time!
I have had it ROMed for the last several months and the ROM I was using at the time it started had absolutely no issues at all. I upgraded to a JB ROM a few days ago and the SAME problem is still there.
Even further, when I am in the CWM Recovery the Power Button (which is used for Enter) is a bit funky (works about half the time) and it will STILL force shut down in CWM.
Also, this happens when phone is plugged in so I don't think it's a battery thing?
Does this seem like a software or hardware problem.... thanks for the thoughts.

It appears it is a hardware problem with solely the power button. When you press and hold the power button, it will reboot the system without warning, so it could be constantly "depressing" the power button.

Haha quite possibly! I'd try calling AT&T and maybe see if you can get a refurb if it's under warranty.
Same thing started happening to mine. The power buttons ****ed. Yesterday, it stopped working almost completely. I'm sending it in for warranty tomorrow. It was a ***** trying to reset the phone in recovery after flashing stock, I had to press the power button repeatedly to get the click the register and it powered down a few times.
If you can't get it fixed under warranty. Do a search for power switch problems on captivate. The switch on that phone has the same problems. I have cleaned my captivate power switch a few times using contact cleaner and it works good. Sorry I'd post a link but I'm using the phone app now.

My mothers unlocked LG F6 randomly stopped working today. Help?

So, I have an AT&T LG F6 here that my mom was using unlocked from AT&T to T-Mobile. She was in the middle of texting someone when "it popped up and said something about hold power button for 1 second then it just turned off". Now it will not turn on from power button or plugging in the power at all. If you pull the battery and put it back in, it flashes the LG splash screen up for a few seconds then shuts off. If I hold the volume button I can get to the factory reset screen but after the same amount of time, even if I hit power button to confirm, it shuts itself off.
Where do I go from here? She says she did not drop or impact it in any way and it doesn't appear to be so, nor does it have water damage.

Try charging it for a day or so
Left it on the charger for 12 hours straight and nothing.
