I got bored of the "Nexus" boot animation finally, and have been really pleased with the minimalist "Google" splash screen I've been using in my kernel (link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11514313# ) so I made matching boot and shutdown animations.

The quality is much, MUCH better in use, stupid animated gif images always turn out terrible. And before anyone comments, its intentionally not centered-vertically in order for it to line up with the positioning of the "Google" text in the boot/splash screen I used in my kernel.
Simple, nothing fancy at all. Download and flash with clockworkmod.

Loving the boot and shutdown animations! Nice and simple.
Has anyone applied this to the darkys port? He'd it with bionix 1.3 but I'm afraid to pull the trigger on a 2.3 port. If not I guess I.can be the test dummy.

I haven't tested that one yet.. I looked at the images, and don't get me wrong.. didn't really like the idea of a fingerprint scanner for a bootanim

What kind of an animation are you looking for Master? Something futuristic with that blue that you use in axura? like in the loading bar in the picture you posted?

Something sleek, with that blue & some grey..
I like this, but still prefer what you showed previously with the icons fading in. But the loading bar is awesome. And the colors very nice.
Hard to tell if we would like it from a still. Is that all it does? The bar just moves to the right like it is loading? I like the Axura one in the OP better to be honest.
Its good but the screen looks too empty, ik ik its a boot screen its not meant to have widgets lol, but it looks too simple.
Put the bar and loading... At bottom, at the top make it flash like neon saying master then devs4 android

This is my first boot animation for public release. I made one for my wife earlier to play around and learn.
I have no clue on how to make it a flashable file in recovery, but here is the bootanimation.zip. Just change permissions to match the rest of the /system/media folder as always.

Just wanted to let you know it works for trigger 2.8 as well but the clock in the notification bar stayed white. Is there a file that i can flash or a morph of just the clock where I can get it black?
Just flashed this and really like it. Love the colors. The batt is white on mine as well and I'm running bionix 1.3.1. Would love to be able to change the clock cause it's hard to see.
I'll check that for you, It's wierd i'm on Bionix and it stayed black for me hmmm i'll try to figure it out and post a fix

More than likely your clock issue is related to the services.jar file, pull the services.jar from your phone and you should be set. Other wise this is a good looking theme, not my flavor but well done none the less.

UPDATE:
As per icanttinkofaname's request, I created a new boot animation with the word Legend, I've attached it to this topic, just rename it so it says "bootanimation.zip". It's not perfect but I think it looks good enough. I hope you like it!

Edit looks good, but part0 gets played too quick @10 fps as there is only 15 frames to be played so that first bit only lasts just over 1 second, I tried changing it to 5 fps but something went wrong, only had blank acreen , when I re-zipped it I made sure it was only stored..

Thanks for the feedback, I tried to get a good balance of speed for part0 as it is quite a short animation. I tried to make it so you can appreciate it yet it has a certain subtlety to it. I'll think about testing it at some different speeds when I get the time. I used the boot animation creator program if you want to change it yourself.
Hey. nice work on the boot ani. can I make a request? Can you make this boot, but instead of it saying One, it says legend using the same font? I know it's been done for the sensation and it looks really sweet!

I just put it in mine, a bit choppy though. I just managed to root my device, by the way, and I have the latest stable CM7, after replacing a broken USB PCB.
If anyone still can't figure out how to install, overwrite the existing boot animation with a file manager that has root/superuser access.
