cmenard commented in his Overstock thread that he'll have an update coming soon.

Ttabbal says he'll be bringing it to Dragon, as well. If only someone could make a voodoo sound compatible kernel for Double Rainbow (Gingerbread).

Ohhh nice..soo i mean i would like to have it on 2.3.2 and up..i love the voodoo.sound

Me too, but it will not happen without vibrant 2.3 source, from what I hear.

Oohh man...thats bad

Have you tried CM7? I have not but I believe it is a GB ROM and there is a kernel with voodoo sound available.

I've not. I stalk the thread, and have seen too many bugs. The data issues and battery life makes it a no-go for me.

Wait I though we already had v5

Looks like that is the only kernel to update so far. Giving it a shot.

Yeah, I know... I'm just not good at doing it, or should I say not comfortable with making my own morphs yet.
I can make it when I get home.. the first hybrid or 2nd? I haven't got the 2nd version yet...
For the stock rom?

That would be sweet if you can! I only downloaded the first one as well, and that's the one I love!
If you do get it done, please send me info on where I can send you a donation for your work.
Thanks!
What rom do you want it for? Stock? Or Eugene's vibrant series?

I want it for Eugene's Vib series. I'm running to Vib4, and I just can't seem to get away from it. It's been the best working ROM for me thus far.
Alright I can do that... I'm doing the family thing right now so give me a while, but I can have it done tonight..
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Cool man no problem with that, I'm in no rush for it. Enjoy the family thing!

[Q] blinkertab - can someone port this for the vibrant?

is there any way we can get this kind of program going for the vibrant?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=830782
i already know about flash notify, but this would make great use of the light up capacitive touch buttons underneath the screen.
Flash a kernel with BLN support and search for BLN control in market
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
i flashed bionix v twiz w/ voodoo....does this have bln support? and if not, what good kernels are compatible with bionix v?
i don't really wanna flash a new rom until a stable GB one comes out
bionix doesn't include a bln kernel. keep an eye in the dead horse kernel thread in development. Eugene may have a final version in the next few days
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
I'm waiting for ttabbal's. Test version 1 is over in team whiskey forums and for testing purposes it's pretty solid. Voodoo ext4/sound/bln/oc/uv/color...ULF seems to cause problems for most.
Haha guys just use eugene new kernel, it has it and works perfectly
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Does eugene's new kernel run bionix v?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
And how's the battery life?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Eugene's dead horse kernel then search "blinky" in the market.
I'm kind of noob, how do I flash a kernel, and can I do out without interrupting my framework and apps on my bionix v rom?

Download the kernel, then flash over whatever your using. I flashed over voodoo no problem

I have the original bionix v, not 1.2. Does this matter? And do I flash it through odin? Or can I do it via cwm?

Doesn't matter as far as bionix... Flash through cwm. You can leave voodoo, I did. No problem since

ran into some problems...i flashed both test34 kernel by eugene(supports bln) and the kb1 modem.....lost all my apps, and data wipe.....first, had a boot loop problem, fixed, then came up with no application storage space....just recently fixed it, i think the lagfix interfered with something......but its working now.
and i use bnl control....i actually think that blinky was the problem.

[Q] What Kernel Version is Double Rainbow GB beta3?

Could anyone tell me what kernel version this rom is using? if there is anyone using it. I need to know for an experiment I'm doing while working on GB.
It is a hacked voodoo kernel. It's the only kernel you can use to run the gb double rainbow

[Q] Latest stable fast MOD

I have the Eugene 2.2 mod for about 6 months now. Either with age or third party crappy apps, my vibrant is starting to see more errors. I believe its time to flush and reinstall. Suggestions? Also, do i need to go back to stock 2.1 or can i just format?

CM7 is far from bug free. If it was stable, they would've released a Stable version.

I wouldnt say its far from being bug free. There is really only one issue and that is gps. Battery has improved a lot since the early cm7 days.

If you're able to sweep issues like 2g/3g toggle, mute/unmute to hear, various wifi staying connected problems, etc etc, then yes you're correct.
But the only issue I have is gps and im fine with that. Plus I dont have mute/unmute prob or wifi prob. Its my daily driver. Ty cm7

The mute unmute is not a problem if you shut your screen off immediately after answering the call. Either by locking it or letting the ambient light sensor do its job
