[Q] stuck on prl00001 - HTC EVO 3D

Hey guys, got a question here...
I flashed prl00001 and now when I update prl through settings to get back on sprint it still reads 00001 even after profile update and reboot. Done this multiple times, starting to get worried about my contract being cancelled... Any ideas? Thanks

Which way did I use to put it on. I used it for a few days but it did not do all that good for me so I just used the epst and that's it. Make sure u r on a sence rom with epst
My 3D Shooter not yours!!

Yeah I'm on steel ROM 2.5 which is sense... I flashed it by dialing ##747# like usual. Trying to get back I use system update prl... Tried renaming prl file just in case it was getting in the way but no dice...

Well strangely I tried again and it finally worked... After 20-some times... Ha ha

[Q] Restored nandroid from alpha CM7

Hi
So I tried the alpha version of CM7 last night. Great, but still to early for me. So this morning I went to a restored version of a previous rom I had. I have internet and texting service working. But I'm unable to make any phone calls. I was able to update my PRL without issue, but firmware update resulted in error 1233.
Anything I can do?
I've tried wiping the davlick cache and cache 3x. Wiping data. Trying a different nandback up now.

Maybe a bad backup? Might have to do a full wipe and reflash whatever rom you were on and TB your apps and data.
Rootyourdroid.net. My nephews blog.
I did.
After a clean rom install, was able to a profile and PRL update. Still no changes. Can receive calls, use internet, etc. Just cannot make outgoing phone calls ...
Hmmmmm....Got me stumped. You need someone much brighter then me. Good luck. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
You need to call sprint and have them reprovision your phone and t service. Tell them out are roaming too often and unable to make roaming phone ccalls from Verizon's towers and should be able to. It may take 2 or 3 different people before you get a Good one. Also, try to get to tech support, not just any rep

Hi.
Thanks for the reply. What is the "t" service?
Ive called sprint already and was told it should be fixed within 24-48 hours after being elevated to a higher tech support level. I don't know if it should take that long normally or what.
P.S. I don't think I've ever roamed in NYC.
What settings do you have in your roaming settings? Home only or automatic?
Sent from my CM powered 3D
I was on sprint only. Changed it to automatic to try that. No changes.

Hmmmmm....... Do you know how to run the ruu and return back to s-on? If not I'll link ya. It's going to suck if you get the 1.50
Before you do that, go to the dev section and download the stock rom from haus and give that a go. Seems like I heard someone else have this problem (or something very similar) and it fixed it.
Sent from my CM powered 3D
Which ROM are you using? It's usually a good idea to use the stock one while troubleshooting over the phone so they don't see anything unusual with it. If you do take it in though I would personally leave it unlocked and just flash the 2.08 RUU. The bootloader will still show "locked" with s-off so they probably won't notice it.
I went back to my stock rooted rom yesterday hoping that might fix the issue. So I've left it as that :|
So to flash the 2.08 RUU, I just take the htc update?
If you are on a stock rom, rooted or non rooted, (doesnt matter for this) go on sprint website and choose "chat". Tell them in chat that your getting "error 16" popping up on your phone when trying to call. Let them know you googled error 16 and the fix is called a "HLR Refresh", and you would like them to preform that for you. They will ask you to pull your battery, if they dont have you pull it then they are NOT doing the Refresh. This should fix your issue. If not you may have to run the RUU and head on over to sprint store. Personally I would try all I could before handing my phone to a rep, the reps solution is going to be a software update
Tried that earlier. Reset some values. All while on the stock nonrooted sprint ROM. They keep saying its a hardware issue.
Beats me how its a hardware issue.

He's not getting error 16. I think this is something completely different. I had this happen a few weeks back and I just flashed the stock rooted Rom to fix it. BTW lmbebo, when you flashed xHausx stock rooted Rom did you update your PRL and profile?
Every time I've flashed a new rom or restored a nand backup I've updated my proflile and PRL. I've gone through the steps to redo handset activation as well.
I've pretty much made my phone stock except for the s-off status at this point with no resolution.
I'll see if I have enough time to change that back tonight and get into a sprint store tonight. If I can't I'm SOL until next week in terms of time to get into the store.
I guess just for future issues (if this ever arises again).
I've flashed the stock 513 and newest 0808 radios.
I've put rooted stock, xhausx's stock rom, cleanROM, CM alpha 7.
Dropped the phone off. Not sure in what condition or when I'll get it back. Its a network issue for sure.
Can't accèss my google voice website account now either.
Thanks for all the help everyone! appreciate it!
Google voice corrupted my account. All calls were being forwarded to google voice for some reason.
Have brand new /Locked/ e3d now.
Guess I have to wait for an update to the unlock process now? to unlock hboot 1.50 ?

nah , but i'm still looking for a answer though . Thanks for helping .
just do another "tituatam backup" and it should "viberate" harder so that your phone falls of your desk, and softbreaks enabling you to reflash the rom. Your welcome.

Im still trying to get over that signature......maybe if you do another "tituatam backup" while holding your home button it will remember to back that up too...
i agree, def another tititatitiiatuuuam backup. Get the new version too. If he only spent as much time thinking about what he types, he might get worthwhile responses.

Help with Evo LTE Flash

I am trying to flash my Evo lte. Voice and Texts are working but i have no data at all and get error 67. I am unable to read or write NV items 466 or 1192 and get "DIAG Error Received: Invalid Parameter Error Response".. Any help would be AWESOME!
You need to give us a lot more info. What are you flashing, what hboot do you have, what is your flashing process, and any other info you can think of.

Im happy to give any information thats needed, ive been trying to figure this out for weeks.
I did an MEID repair on a Evo 4g LTE. Not getting any data at all, 1x or 3g
hboot 1.15
zeroed MEID, replaced it. Got calls and texts working, no data. Ive tried everything i could think of. Tried to read/write NV items but get the error I mentioned, tried to manually replace the NV item files using EF explorer, tried dfs.. nothing can right those items
The phone is brand new, doesnt have an activation date when i do ##786#, not sure if that matters.. I rooted and i threw on a custom rom hoping that would help... there was no APN in the phone, i added sprint APN..
im super lost here
Thanks again!

Sprint might need to provision it again? Long ago during the Evo 3D when we did S-OFF lots of users got that error i believe, and you had to call sprint and they did something on their end.

Possibly...not sure of the process though. The suggestion to call sprint is probably the quickest and easiest way to resolve it. Is there a reason you don't want to call Sprint?

Your Network Access Identifier (NAI) may be locked out from too many invalid attempts. This is common on Android phones since the data requests are so frequent and it only takes 10 invalid attmepts to get locked out. The lockout clears in 20 minutes if no further invalid attempts are captured by the network. Turn your phone off for 30 mintues to be sure, then retry.

Pageplus . It's strange mine is doing the exact same never pulled a ip, error code 67, can't read 466 and 1192. I've been up all night digging around my brain is fried and I can barely group words into complete sentences. I'll post some specifics after a hour or so of sleep, but one that drew me here was wanting to know if he was on ICS when he flashed? I'm just learning all of this and doing my best to understand it but are the placement of the information in the bc items standard or would a manufacturer change them? Anyway just thinking outloud. I'll post details when my brain can function properly.

Ok so last night I flashed OTA_Shooter_S_Sprint_WWE_1.11.651.2_radio_0.97.00.0518_NV_SPCS_1.15 AND my both of the phantom Nv items read.
I'm still a little unclear if the ICS moved the items or if the conventional methods of reading and writing were not working. Side note the information to nv items among other things seems to be a well kept secret and I'm not the type of person that wants to continue following others tutorials using my hand held as I cross the street. And although the hours spent the last few days reading posts and nv browser readouts from different phones in hopes that one my hold the secret to understand if someone knows a book or reference of some kind that would help me to understand this better please let me know.

stuck in boot loop after replacing screen

i just replaced my screen in my evo 3d for the second time after getting a faulty replacement and not i seem to be stuck in a boot loop. i had it booting 100% fine before i put in the new screen so i have no idea whats wrong with it. i grounded myself for the whole process so i really dont think i fried anything and i was careful with reassembling it as usual. but now it just gets stuck at the white htc screen ive tried flashing it with fast boot, and ive tried flashing it with the ruu which installed completly but its still stuck in the loop is there anything else i can try.
Is the screen from HTC or some cheap China knock off brand?

I am experiecing the exact same issue 1.40 hboot, s-off revoloutionary... Phone was fine aside from the digitizer touching itself randomly. Just replaced screen and can only get into bootloader, otherwise just bootloop. Have 4ext recovery, can not boot into it.

It is booting...WTH... Is it a potential driver mismatch with my old radio and hboot version, or is this screen just a piece of crap?

Serious problems with LG K7

So I recently got a new LG K7. So being a complete idiot I did not back up my phone, then I proceeded to root it with kingroot then because it only has 8gb of storage I thought "well I really want to get GTA SA on my phone so ill just delete a couple of things in there to make it work." So I deleted a ton of Google play stuff and when I realized I would not be able to accomplish my goal I found out I messed up Google play for good. Fine I said I'll just factory reset. But when I factory reseted it would so the normal checking for connection thing except that it never ends (i left it sitting like that for a full 24 hours) so... yeah... my phone is basically screwed up. I took it to Tmobile to see if they could help but they pointed me here so now I'm just seeing if any of you can help. Thanks -Daniel
So since you messed up one of the valuable components of Google services, the Only option you have is to flash your firmware to the default firmware of your phone. Hope that helps!
