My atrix 4G reboots when i lock it or when it goes to "idle" mode, i've been trying to update it to see if that resolves the problem but i can't, the phone copies the files for the update then it reboots starts loading files shows a red mark and gets stuck in the goapk.com logo the phone has an unlocked bootloader and it's rooted, also wifi displays "error" and when i try to turn it on it reboots and recently the computer doesn't recognize the phone when i plug it into a usb port and viceversa the phone doesn't show any usb connected notification or charge, the phone it's driving me nuts! please any help will be highly appreciated
Can you get it booted anymore? If so, try to slip into Airplane mode. That might stop the random reboots. If it does, then I'd suggest the following:
1) Reboot to recovery and clear both cache and dalvik-cache
2) Consider flashing a newer radio
Let us know if Airplane mode stops the random reboots.
What rom do you use? Stock or custom rom? I recommend flashing new rom such neutrino CM7 or nottachtrix.

Thanks man! it almost stopped it keeps doing it but much less frequent and rare now it seems like the airplane mode helps a lot the reboots are not random they mainly happen when i leave the phone idle or locked altough i still have the wifi and usb issues any suggestions for that?, and what is dalvik-cache how can i clear it? what radio should i flash?

Stock 2.3.4 android build 4.5.91, where can i find those roms and are they good?
Already tried recovery mode it won't go into it. Is there a way to turn on USB storage without actually turning it on the normal way? I need help.
My device is a mytouch by lg [LGE739} and I'm trying to get cm9.

I tried to install a new kernel and after finishing my phone keeps restarting and vibrating while I only see a black screen. I can enter download mode nad CWM, but I can only use download mode, because I don't have any backups. Any ideas about how can I fix my phone?
do a factory reset and clear cache via recovery mode, after that flash a stock rom via odin

When I enable wifi, it does enable..connects to my wifi, then sometimes says "connected to null" then always disconnects (but shows enabled).
However, if I put it in Airplane Mode, then enable wifi...it connects and works properly.
I have a feeling I installed a power savings app and it messed with the settings, prior to my uninstalling it.
Any ideas what setting would return it to it's normal functionality?
Reflash rom with no wipe if you're on custom rom or flash stock with Odin.
Hello, my phone shuts off when I send a message or try to use internet data but when I boot in safe mode everything works good. I tried to re-flash the ROM but it didn't resolve my issue.
