[Q] 2.3.3 Market and Youtube Problem - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear,
Few months, I upgraded my X10 from 2.1 to 2.3 with root and everything is fine.
However, I reinstalled my system from the update service yesterday.
It seems no problem except that when I opened the market with WiFi, I can view contents but can not download it. The screen displayed "downloading" and no any further response. Also, the similar problem was observed in the Youtube app with Wifi connection. I can click the video but it was not played.
If I use 3G connection, everything will be fine.
I do not change any setting with my APs.
I searched some solutions and all of them do not help me.
For example, 1)clean the catch of those google apps in the settings->manage softwares or 2)open the port5228 in my APs.
I also tried to reinstalled the system with different version of fireware but can not solve this problem.
The only thing I can do is to downgrade to 2.1, in this case, the problems will be solved. After I upgrade 2.1 to 2.3 from update service or by using flashtool, the problems occurrs. It is really unhappy.....
Can anyone give me some more suggestions what can I do?

Market problem

does anyone having problem after updating to 2.1?
Stuck on download starting. Nordic 2.1 rooted. Read a few places that opening talk application helps, didn't for me.
Missing all the highres programs, haven't tried installing the old cracked tattoo vending app, anyone know if this works in 2.1?
I got the same problem after rooting my mini pro 2.1, spent 2 hours yesterday trying out diffrent methods posted, none of em worked.
Does somebody know anything?
after the update I saw all my *1.6 Market installed apps in the download list.
downloaded a few to re-add to my new 2.1
now only the few that I re-downloaded show up.
suggestions?
Solved my problem with a factory reset and only restored the few apps I regularly use with titanium. I think I may have inadvertantly overwritten a system app or data with an older version when doing a batch restore. Market works showing high res and 2.x apps with no patch.

Applications not showing after installation

As the title states, one of my application does not show up in the application list after installation. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling them again but the problem remains. I could just flash my phone again and it might solve the problem since i was working fine before.
SO is this problem random or does anyone have this issue as well?
The application in question is Note Everything Pro 1.20.
Cheers~

[Q] Market Search Broken, Browse and Download Fine

Hi,
I've just installed this rom on my X10 Mini Pro:
Cyanogen Gingerbread 7 based on MiniCM by slade87 (Gingerbread 2.3.3) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1041099
Before this I was using MiniCM v6.1.
I can browse the Market and download without any problems, but when I try search for an app it doesn't find anything at all, ever. Rather, it suggests that I misspelled it.
I've tried factory reset, wiping cache and dalvik cache several times along with multiple resets, but nothing fixes it.
I've also tried replacing with the old Market, as per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231358 , but the new version seems to persist.
edit: Turns out I already had the old version, hence why it looked the same and I suppose didn't help fix it.
If I log into the Market on my PC is still shows the apps that were previously installed on MiniCM v6.1 as still installed.
Syncing google contacts works fine.
The calendar doesn't sync correctly - syncs birthday and holiday calendars but not my own one.
edit: calendar working alright now, fixed itself.
Did another wipe and reinstall, didn't fix it. I noticed it didn't go through the usual startup wizard.
Installed Mini CM7x Pro instead and I can now search for apps at least.
However, I can't download apps because authentication fails for Google Talk.
AAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!
At least the new problem is common. Seems to be a host of suggestions on how to fix it, but so far none have worked.
Same problem...
I have the same problem here, on X10 Mini Pro (U20i), running CyanogenMod7 v15. Before upgrading, I was running v8, with no problems (as far as I can remember). Tried several wipes and resets - nothing worked. Tried upgrading to newest (until now) Market 3.1.3, but the problem persists.
If anybody gets to a solution, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!!
Thanks!
Sweet, got it working. This worked for me:
From the home screen, press menu and click Manage applications.
Click the All tab.
Force stop (if it's open) and clear data for the following:
Google Services Framework
Market
and anything else with market in the name (although on my phone these weren't running and didn't have any data to clear, but yours might)
And finally reboot the phone.
edit: Wasn't logged into my Google account on my PC at the time, if that makes any difference.

[Q] Another Market problem

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post here so I apologize if this i s the wrong section. The problem is simple, I rooted my phone and installed a different firmware version which already had the market as a stock app (before I couldn't connect to the market). Now I can connect and browse but apps are stuck at starting "downloading". I searched on the forum, I contacted the android market guys but nothing seems to work.
Here's a list of all the things I've already done with no result whatsoever:
Sign in and out of Google Talk repeatedly to restore connection to google servers (google talk or gmail don't give me any problem)
Ensure there is enough space on device for the app to install
Reboot device
Confirm there is strong connectivity on device, and contact mobile service provider
Try download(s) using both WiFi and network (3G/4G) connections
Unmount and remount the SD card
Cleared Market, Download Manager and Google Services Framework cache and data
CheckedIunchecked/rechecked background data, auto-sync, date and time settings
installed oldmarket app and tried using market older version
installed 3.20 market version (I had 3.15)
factory reset and reinstalled the firmware (and went through all the steps again)
went to samsung center to see if there was something wrong with the device
Does anyone have any ideas about how to solve this? It's really frustrating and it's starting to get on my nerves quite a bit.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Im having the same problems. I've even updated to 3.1.6 and still same problems. Android market is slow and I have to try 20 times to go to my app list and do an update.
...anyone?
any ideas at all?
Have you tried to flash any other type of ROM as well as different Radio nor Kernel?
Meanwhile if you need to install an app, you could do it from your computer browser via market, while you find out a solution to solve this problem.
Normally what I do is simply clear the market and google frameworks cache and data, but seems like for you is not working.
At this point must be a radio issue or a ROM issue.
Same problem anyone got solution ?
Have u guys tried Market Enabler? Sometimes it works for me.
Sent from my GT-I9100
Same problem as well. after install the new android market the problem persist.
please help.
what does market enabler has to do with anything?
Same problem here. Any ideas?
i cant find anything usefull in google.
i tried installing to the new market, but the problem persisted.
after a hard reset, the market works for awhile, then the problem happen again.
updating to the latest market version does not help as well

[Q] Econnreset-connection reset by peer on ICS

Since i installed ICS on my SGS2 i have been getting a strange error. When I, for example, try to open a photo on my facebook app or surfing the internet on my browser, I get an error that says econnreset-connection reset by peer, and i just cant seem to find a solution. No problems with wifi, only with data connection. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? That doesnt happen on android 2.3.
Thank you
Strange/unusual errors....... Wipe your phone using *2767*3855#
Remember it will erase your contents on internal storage.
Nope, that didn't solve the problem
Sometimes i have to click refresh maybe twenty times to open a web page and still it doesn't load them completely. Strangely, I don't have that problem on 2.3 android.
Flash firmware again or try different firmware .
jje
On every ICS based rom it's the same
