it is from the N73 and idk why i love it but its my fav... does anyone know where i could download a version i could use on my galaxy s 2? I would love thanks! thanks
EDIT**
found the file:
just not good quality when applied to my phone, is there a way to fix the resolution? Im not good with photo editing

How picky are you about how it looks? I can't do anything about the original, but 5 mins in photoshop should produce a very close replica.

that would be sweet

Edit: Ok, here is the 800x480 version of the picture. The caveat is that I can not get it to display properly on my phone. Under the select wallpaper screen it fits perfectly, but then it shows up funky when you look at the actual home screen.
Edit 2: Use this version, but do not crop out the black. For some reason it is only displaying 1/2 of the image, so by adding extra it displays the whole wallpaper cleanly.
Edit 3: If you need a scrollable version let me know.

THANKS! now if only i could get the icons, your the best!

In the main Android forum there is a massive thread full of icon sets. I suggest looking there. You probably won't find something identical, but you may find something similar.

Now, let me begin by saying I AM NOT a designer, nor do any sort of artwork on the side. I saw this idea and figured I'd give it my shot. Enjoy what you may, but I felt like giving back to a community that I take so much from.

Looks nice! Could you maybe make one like the red_mix, but with a white stripe? That dock would look great with the theme on my my vibrant.

On your vibrant, long press on the pic, save image.
Go to launcher pro prefs and choose apperance settings.
Choose dock backround and select custom.
Find the image in your gallery and select it.
Bam. Your all set.
slightly off-topic but how do you change the color of the unread count on the dock?
I love the white_mix. Great job!

is there any way of getting the white-mix doc, in purple instead of where the grey is? so basically it would be a mix of purple and white

[Q] Mod phone.apk to display bigger pictures?

there are a lot of threads/posts on the forum with moded phones.apk to display bigger contacts pictures, i already tried a lot of phone.apk's and none of these are working fine in our galaxy ace (FC), maybe someone can do it?
i already tried to modify the xml files, but i got a lot of errors when compiling the apk and i don't even know if im right with some values (my first try doing something like this hehe)
yes, i know there is an apk called full screen caller id, but i like more the "android" style.

info about how to do it, here: Russian

im not asking for a full screen because of contacts pictures limitations, etc. i just would love to have a slightly bigger contact picture.
thanks

this would be nice ... the only mod i managed to do with success on phone apk was changing that horrible green background ... bigger picture sizer would be awsome!

Is it possible for us to have those shiny panels on android?
Then we can place icons/shortcut on top of it to make them stand out?
*Note*
I remembered i could do that thing with window mobile phones
Seems like nobody knows the answer to this, please share knowledge if you have an idea
if those are just png files in android then I'm pretty sure you can but you or someone would have to make them look like that as in coloring the old image file from whatever apk those apply to then reload the edited apk back onto your android phone. So I'm saying yes with a more experienced package creator. I myself have been doing my own editing and picture creating, just haven't figured out how to properly compact the apk yet.

Those are panels in the mobile sense i believe they're not png files, its more like widgets i believe? then we can place an icon/shortcuts on top of that to makes them stand out
am still a noob in android world, but i think it can be done so am following this thread hoping to find an answer soon

Android Creators/developers/etc... look to look into something like this
So we can make the home screen icons look even more stand out with the shade/shiny panels...
The original screen is still cool but it a bit plain to my opinion

Can quality of screen shots be increased?

I don't know how much this matters to others, but I've noticed on my phone that when I do the hand-swipe motion to capture a screen, it works fine but the quality is mediocre. Everything from the color density to the clarity just isn't as crisp/accurate as I would assume and hope it to be. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, has anyone found a way (even if it's an app) that this can be remedied?
I also just tried the ddms approach, it doesn't work for me; screen comes up a peach-ish color across the entire thing.

You're the first I've heard of this problem. All the screenshots should just be unmolested PNGs (without any h/w overlay effects baked in (like mDNIe)) no matter how you take 'em: homebutton+powerdown, handswipe, ddms, airdroid, ...
Post an image of your screenshot here so people can see what you're talking about?

It's just not as...crisp/clear/vivid as it is on my phone. Even the color itself is off. The 2nd one below it is of my old wallpaper, which is a better example of how it's more a faded version of what I see on the phone.

I really wish I could get the ddms method to work, but in the meantime the (minor as it may be) difference between the screen captures and originals bugs a little. It just seems like most of the screen shots I see others post (such as in the thread dedicated to it) look much more vivid.

[Q] Screen Issues with Medium Grays

I noticed this the first day I had my phone, but thought it was just a fluke or some new touchwiz feature akin to the "linens" that iOS 5,6 had. But my note 3, white now on full stock MJ4, never rooted or tampered with yet seems to have some banding and aberrations with displaying medium grays. I have attached a screenshot that you can download and try for yourself. I am positive this is a bug, and with my limited knowledge I feel it is a software issue more than a hardware one that will hopefully get fixed.
Steps to really see the problem:
Download my screen shot on to your Note 3 (or open chrome browser, remove all windows so it is the gray background with the product logo as attached, then screen shot it yourself)
Do the following in a dark environment to see it best. (please)
Open the screenshot in gallery.
Zoom into it and pan around.
Play with different brightness settings and see if the banding with grays is more evident.
Turn on screen rotation, rotate screen.
Zoom and pan on the same screenshot in landscape view to see that the banding is apparent still only on the Y-axis, proving it was not part of the image.
I attempted to capture this on video and even scan it in my scanner, but it wasn't obvious like it is to my eyes. I want to know, does this affect other people's note 3s? If so I won't care as it really isn't a problem. But if it's just my handset, then I want to get it swapped out instead of risking a bad screen or any other on board hardware. I am most worried because the problem is different day to day and the banding seems to be greater towards the bottom of the screen
If you did all this, thank you!

Same issue here as well as my girlfriends N3. If you mess around with the different display settings (dynamic, professional photo, etc) it increases it or decreases it. I've only noticed this with Chrome however. I will boot up my Evo 3D to see if it does it on there as well as my 2k12 N7.
