Fb chat? - HTC Rezound

Anyone else reading the manual and notice there's supposed to be a Facebook chat app built in to this phone, that I presume htc made? There is a widget....but there's no way to get into the app unless the widget is on your screen lol...the manual states that there should be a shortcut to it under all apps but there's def not...hmm...

imo, facebook's messenger app is so much better

Yeah which I don't see the point in because the Facebook app has built in chat anyway lol I was just curios why there's a widget but no app even tho the manual says there is.

I use Go launcher and ADW launcher, and those apps icons are there, but not when using Sense

So I figured it out download es file explorer and go to system apps and find Facebook chat app and (make sure you have open space on a home screen) once your into systems apps and Facebook chat app in es file explorer long press the app and select add shortcut and then check a home screen and you'll see the app.

They aren't shown in Sense for some reason but they do on other launchers.

I know there is a FBchat widget which is useful

How do you turn off 3G?

Any ideas? My Incredible had a "Mobile Data" widget pre installed on it. Can't find anything like that on here.

Omg honeycomb lockscreen!!!!!

Look up ripple lock in the Android Market.
Here's a link for those interested. The ads in the free version are very intrusive judging by the reviews.

Looks very nice, however it's a little laggy under MIUI. I'll try again sometime when I'm on another ROM. Thanks for sharing

Thanks, but I already knew about that one. The lockscreen I'm actually using right now in MIUI is similar to the one from Sense 3. It's great!

Best alternative friendstream widget?

Pure messenger is the best
Wrong. The built-in Friends Widget from Launcher Pro Plus is the best (you can even get a skin to exactly replicate it!), but saying that, you do need the launcher & you need to pay for it...

They hid it from app list just press on the clock on home page to open up alarms and such.
If I helped you in any way please use the thank you button
Dang I was hoping it was some bug they were gonna fix.I didn't want that clock widget on my screen just to use the alarms but I guess now I have to.I would use the thank you button but I'm not quite sure where it is on this xda app lol.I'll figure it out thank

Might want to check a new leak is out, find it in general. Might be fixed in that leak. Don't worry to much about the thank you button, if I want to thank someone I open up browser in menu of app and it loads right to the page you were on in app.

If you want to find apps, just browse through this thread...
Please add reasons for some apps... not apps like QuickPic and TB, but other, not so known apps...
