While this isn't silicone, it may be what you are looking for. I am to interested in being able to hold both.

I do not know of any silicone cases that can remain totally in position when the tablet is attached to the docking station HOWEVER you can just release the silicone case from the bottom of the tablet and it then fits easily into the dock BUT remember that whilst on the dock the case is bent up at the back of the tablet a little.

You mean like this? Look at pictures.

I'm not quite sure if I understand the pictures well and how this really works ?
Is the Dock also protected by a silicone case or only the Tablet ?
Is it possible to have a retailer link or the manufacturer link for this product to have additional pictures, details and price ?
Thx

There's another piece for the dock. I didn't have it on, though. In fact, I just took the silicone off and put on carbon fiber skin. The silicone added probably 50 pounds to the overall weight.
It's the following skin.
http://www.overstock.com/Electronic...Soft-Gel-Case/6434147/product.html?cid=123620
Just measure very carefully and very very carefully cut out the bottom. Just use your imagination. Look at my pictures again. See how everything fits?

Arobase40 said:
Hmmm, I exercised my imagination pretty hard but couldn't find out the dock piece nor how the silicone gel skin can add "50 POUNDS" (22.68 kg) to the overall weight.
I was also searching on eBay, but couldn't find anything close to the product described on the OP...
The intention was good anyway.

You have a pretty crappy imagination

I think he used 2 modified skins from his link and modified both to fit the hinge and dock.
Also it looks like a decimal was misplaced lol. .50 lbs I could see.

Ever heard of an exaggeration to make a point?

It was more at the other guy saying he couldn't see how it could add 50lbs, but good on ya

The case made by asus is an almost exactly copy of the ipad 1 case... This is similar and is on buy.com http://mobile.buy.com/ibuy/ProductDetail.aspx?loc=108&sku=223077071&adid=18094&siteID=je6NUbpObpQ-3xsoAE_5o0Bb8aU4ozypEQ

Have you used one? If so I would think you would be a little less jealous. The magnets and bracket are flimsy so it bends and/or falls off pretty easily. Also in the completely open (bent back) position it doesnt quite fit the ipad right. Also a couple of people Ive known have had the magnetic off/on stop working, one would assume it was an alignment issue.
Its an interesting idea and I can understand they want to stick to the magnets for simplicity but its not the most durable solution.

Decent Transformer Prime Protective Case?

Sorry if there's a thread on this already but I'm looking for a decent Transformer Prime case, preferably one that also protects the keyboard, anyone got any ideas? Cheers

Most 10" neoprene netbook cases will fit it just fine look at Case Logic ones or Proporta if your stuck. They are good quality.

So I am guessing nobody actually went to the link in the OP's post since you all are just linking the case you own and not really answering his question.
To the OP: No, I am pretty sure a "click in" case like the one in your link doesn't exist for TF101. The one made for Prime won't fit a TF101 either.
Thank's your the only one actually answering my question.
I was thinking that my English was in fact Chinese!
Too bad that the click in doesn't exist I will persist the search. I really like the case.
Best regards

Does the dock fit with this and close properly?
It fits really well. It closes nicely when the dock is attached. Without the dock you have the two snaps for the cover that show, but with the dock it closes nicely (However, it adds some bulk

i would love to see the click in case in person to determine why it doesn't work on the tf101. I don't feel like spending $40 for the privilege though.

Trifold Cover/Case compatible with the keyboard dock?

Does such a thing exist? I'm thinking of a trifold cover similar to the ipad that would allow the tablet to sit up on the table in two positions, and then when you wanted it docked it could do that as well...
Thanks!

Not sure how it docks but seems like it would work it near upright ''mode"
I would probably atteck two rubber feet soon the nearside of the keyboard to make it even

They have a brown leather one on Amazon and of course the ones from China on ebay
I don't know, that link to the handheltitems product looks very clunky and doesn't trifold, so it only stands up *almost* vertically, and if you want to lean it back any, you can't because the back side just slides away...
I'm thinking literally just a trifold cover, not a case I guess, that attaches somehow like the ipad one does.

Id go with a trifold, and still might.. I had one with my KF but id really like something that includes the keyboard dock..
There is a very nice leather one at cellmacs.com
I cannot post links but if you go to their website and just search for TF300T you'll find it. Good quality, reasonably priced and free shipping.

I'm still leaning towards the one on the 3rd post.... it's still the best option IMO, and comes in carbon fiber leather! Come on June 18th!
I bought this one and I love it. All holes line up and it's nice to have it all folded up and protected. My only flaw is when I'm a lefty, when I use it vertically I have to turn the tablet upside down because when open it up like a book the power button is on the bottom left corner and the volume rocker is on the bottom of the unit on the left side. Other than that I love it

Thanks, that's the Poetic Leather Case. Do the button holes stick out when you are using the case as a portfolio without the keyboard?
The only hole for the buttons are the volume rocker buttons and they are pretty flesh with the holes. I will take some pictures tonight when I get home. What kind of pictures would you like to see?

Just wanted to drop in and give a recommendation on this case. It's keyboard compatible and holds shut with magnets. You can remove the dock pretty easily and it protects just as well without it.
I picked one up without any reviews, and I don't regret it. I think it's my perfect case!

+3 for the Poetic case.
As in I have bought 3 of them now, the first for myself and then 2 more as gifts. Incredible case. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Something similar to an otterbox?

Hi all,
I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction for a decent case that protects better than a generic fit 10.1" case I could buy at the local Wal-Mart. I use my tablet with the dock attached 98% of the time and it travels to work and home with me everyday. I would love to have it in a good protective case that would allow the dock to remain attached but I didn't know if anything existed, or at least something I can't seam to find.

I like the Gumdrop brand myself. Not 100% hardshell, heck the bak is rubber with no exo-skelton of any kind. Does come with integrated/replaceable screen protection and it covers all openings. Check it out.
You may also want to check out Bob J Gear.
I have a gumdrop case on my Galaxy Tab. It is a good case but I would like to maintain 100% usability of my keyboard/dock

That's pretty nice, I may give that a go and see how it is. I need to find something, today I left my tablet on top of a 6 foot tall 480v transformer and it fell out of my passenger seat of my truck going down the interstate so it takes some abuse. But I use the dock for typing documents 3-7 times a day which is why it is important I can keep it attached.
