But, when i put the earphone and start a game, a video or the Radio the sound quality is perfect.

I agree with the other 2 posters. It sounds like you've got beta installed.

Sounds more like your music if you want boom boom bangy bang stuff SGS2 has little headroom for exaggerated bass sounds .You could search for the sound fixes .

What baseband version...also what kernel and build?
Can be found @ Menu-> Settings -> About phone
Why not take a screenshot of this screen and post it?
(hold home button, and press power)

As android 4.03 has not yet been released by Samsung what else can it be but the leaked beta buggy test rom .

Ok since no one here believe samsung released it i guess its not official ! or we suppose its not !! i created this thread to find solution to my problem guys !
so please all advices are welcome !!
should I flash ROM or what ?
if yes how to and what is the best one ! thks

There is no such thing as the "best rom". You have your phone setup differently to everyone else, you use your phone differently to everyone else and your phone came out of the factory slightly differently to everyone else's.
A rom that runs well for me might not run well for you.
I suggest you go the development sections of the forum & read the first few pages and the the last 10-20 pages of the particular threads devoted to different roms. That way you will get an idea of the features/pluses/minuses of each rom, and also see other users' experiences with that rom.
Then you can test different roms for yourself to find one that works best for you.
Edit to add - Re: the Android 4.0.3 thing...Cool story bro, but...you know the rest

For those who asked for screenshots
EDIT: and concerning the sound issue i fixed it !! i changed earphones and everything is OK !

Beta ics and not the latest either.
Also must have been something wrong with your old/original headphones.

The latest official release, is some version of Gingerbread. Again, ICS is not yet officially released.
Here, you'll be able to find all official and unofficial ROMs.
Which one is most current depends on your location.

Yup that build is not a stable release eve from Samsung. They did not even care to make it lag free. I dont think there is anything you can do about this. The release is messed up. Try using some other custom roms!

I can recommend hydrogen-ics.
Have tested many kernels on this rom and they are all very smooth.

You should install mean rom 4.2 and then flash dodova 5.4 kernel.. It provides the best balance of performance, stability and battery life. There also weren't any issues with volume on my end. Its so good that even tho ive upgraded to Mean ICS I have a nandroid of that exact setup

Flash 4.3 then flash Dodova's updated 5.4 or 5.5-test kernel separate. The 5.3 kernel that installs with 4.3 gives a lot of people reboots.
4.2 and 5.4 test was awesome for me work great till I switch to mean Rom ics v0.91 all good just minor issue .
it's all good, battery life is awesome!!!!.... now im looking for a rom that is aosp which one do you guys think is best? with large battery duration and good performance duration... Thanks in advance
every time the phone sits so screen off initializes , apparently the phone completely shuts down at some point ..
a quick tap of the power button to activate display and phones boots to htc logo
any suggestions please I already tried turning fast boot back on and that didn't help at all
edit : running meanROM 4.2 - it did it with .2 kernel and still with .4
I have no idea, I get the same thing, apparently that is a bug they haven't fixed. At least my phone reboots once a day tops with the kernel... Let's ser if we can find out!

i hope so and if it's a bug it has to be only a very few people using meanrom that encountered it ..
I dont mean to hijack your thread but this is directly related to meanrom 4.3 and headphones. Have you noticed when using music apps if you plug in a set of headphones it causes the fast forward/skip option to be pressed repeatedly? Im kind of wondering if the headphone jack for our phones has the abilities to use a set of headphones with a fastforword/skip button on them and perhaps its just my jack thats deffective. Just curious if youve ever noticed something similar with your phone.

There is a fork of Mean Rom in the CDMA development forum that removes sense as much as possible. I forget what it's called. On a pure aosp Rom, some stuff is broken so I suggest a desensified Rom instead.

[Q] I just want a ROM that works 99%

Running on a Xperia Go, and I'm getting tired of struggling with my phone, stock firmware was incredibly slow and bloated, FXP Cyanogenmod 9 worked most of the time, when it didn't freeze or just turn off my phone, but now they stopped development.
FREACK's Cyanogenmod 11 works beautifully and fast, when the Wifi or network connection isn't going down 3 times a day
This is not a ***** thread though, I realise and respect the amount of work it takes to port a ROM to an unsupported device. All I'm asking is for a ROM that is not going to let me down, no freezing, working camera and video, working data and network connection, working Wifi, that doesn't lag to hell, GPS, etc. Example, a ROM for daily use.
I just want some feedback, what works for you? I don't need the latest greatest Android port (thought that would be nice) and I don't have time to install and test a new ROM every 2 weeks.
And some of you may ask, what is the 1% I don't care about working? well FM Radio, what is this, the 1950s?
Many thanks in Advance.
Maybe that explains why FXP gave up, this sub is dead...

Hi dude,
You could use the AOSX rom developed by wanxp, that thread is active and almost all the features are working except fm radio, wifi direct and music a2dp, this is the rom that I use atm cuz I hardly use radio and wifi direct.. in fact I've never used those features -.- You could also try Munjenis CM11, but then again the bluetooth fails sometimes! Even though it says that it works properly in the OP. It doesn't. Frankly, the BEST LAG FREE rom that I've come across is the CM9.1 rom! Unfortunately its not available for download anymore -.- and I deleted my backup of it after I ragequit after my Xperia Go broke and I started using my Note -.- But I managed to fix it and I'd like to use CM9.1 again.. Can you please upload it for everyone or PM it to me??

Thank you SO SO much! Haha I see you've decided to stick with CM9! Great choice! I only say that this is the best rom ever is because it doesn't start to lag over time and everything works great(except for radio.. but you can always download an app!) and gaming is great with no lags(I usually test with Despicable Me and Most Wanted2)! So thank you very much!

Camera is laggy, and this is a EmfoxZhou build i believe from About section of the ROM
I couldn't test for other bugs, as I have limited time
YAS537 is impossible since no one fixed it yet.
I guess, unless Xiaomi releases the kernel, we won't be able to experience it completely, but do you think it will happen :/
