Is it UPS or UPS Mail Innovations? So what's the point since we can buy the same thing, same brand

I used Amazon checkout and got an email instantly with an order number. Their Amazon ratings are actually quite high, which makes me feel better. The CSR did say that they were going extremely fast and when I just checked their page it doesn't come up anymore, so I think I may be good!

If its a legit retail store I dont think you got scammed. They're probably just unorganized. Just like the Fry's in California. I love that store but I cant trust them to get my orders straight.
I ordered immediately after seeing this post yesterday and chose the google checkout option. I received a Google order number but not an Electronics Express one immediately.
This morning, I called them to check if by some 'Christmas Miracle' I was lucky enough to order on time. They couldn't look my order up by number, so they asked the model number. My heart sank when he came back and said, " I'm very sorry sir, but it looks like we will be cancelling this order, we had more than 79 orders come in immediately and don't have that many in stock yada yada and so on."
So I replied, "Ok please cancel my order then."
He then said, "We will automatically sir, and we will send you an email to notify you when we do."

Earliest Negri will ship is 5/25 but keep in mind, that's a weekend AND memorial day on Monday so the earliest overnight shippers will get their GS3 is the 29th. Earliest for expanys is the 30th.

You need to be careful with their quoted price. I have just found out they adjust their price to the VAT rate of the delivery address in the EU, at least they do for delivery to the UK. I think Ireland is 23% VAT? that means, if I am right, their quoted price of 588.80 will go up to 608.59 plus p+p for shipping to Ireland. You'll see it at final checkout.

Yup, you called it. Shortly after I placed my order on Negri Electronics it still showed 5/25/2012, but when I came on onto the site 5 hours later it shows that it updated to 5/29/2012. Either they had gotten more pre-orders and adjusted the time, or because it was the long weekend.

When you click on the link(s) it looks like it is only for Sprint users. Looks like a major drawback, at least right now, is that Sprint's LTE network isn't up and running for the masses, so you'd be limited to 3G until they upgrade in your area.
I'm not sure about all of the details, though.

Rofl the link you posted shows the card for $34.99 on amazon. Same price as best buy. Also looked up the Sandisk ultra micro sd 64 gb on amazon...it was $34.99. I don't know where you got $50 from.
And I was basing my claims about best buy on a cnbc documentary that talked about how people just use best buy as a showroom and buy all the stuff online...

I got the $50 from the link I posted. Look at it again. I was citing that Amazon has had it for $50 during this past week alone. And yes Amazon has it for $34.99 because they price matched Best Buy's price.

"Show rooming" as its called will never go away and Best Buy isn't the only company that is losing business because of this. Right now it's a matter not just on competing in price but also the overall experience. Best Buy has made improvements on this for sure in the past year and I'm very sure will continue to keep improving as well. It's never a bad thing as a consumer to have choices in the market for where to buy products. Especially since the demise of Circuit City which you can't deny did hurt more than helped Best Buy for a good deal of time by not having a direct specialized electronics retailer competing against them.

So I called the store closest to me and they told me to come in and they will take care of it. Got to the store and they told me I have to call a 1800 number and got it taken care of. Also apparently you can only get the free case if you bought the slate grey version of the phone.

I ordered the gold version online and they offered the free case.
Hmmm. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly up until I mentioned the free case and then she snapped and kept telling me it's only for the black version. Oh well at least I got 75 bucks back.
Got immediate case and phone shipping notice from UPS. Should be here by Wed.

That's a crazy deal.
I got mine from NewEgg 25$ gift card but the phone cost 550.
I got a protection plan with no deductibles for 50$. B&H has one but it's 70$ per accident.
So over all 575 vs 525.
I never bought from B&H before but new egg has really good support. They sent me a second phone right away one day delivery when I called and said I have a scratch out of the box on the screen.

I just pulled the trigger on this deal. Got the graphite (black) 32gb model with Speck TPU case. After taxes it came to $466.33. I'm pretty dang happy right now. It will be available for pickup from my local bestbuy on the 17th. I'm upgrading from my Galaxy S4 (AT&T), so I'm guessing I'll need to run by my local AT&T store to get a different sim.
