case with credit card slot - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Accessories

Hello,
Anyone found a case with built in credit card slots? I am wearing mine all the time so want to use it as a wallet also...
With kind regards
M

Hello,
that is really a challenge.
The only case I've found with cc-slots is the Zenus Galaxy Tab 7.7 Prestige Luxe Portfolio.
As new user I'm not permitted to post outside links in my message.
Just have a look at the zenus homepage: zenuscase.net
Best regards

Thanks for the link but first of all the case make a 7.7 look like a 7 plus. That's okay but the second problem I found is that the card pockets are inside the cover without any support to prevent it from contacting with the screen. As a result, the screen would be subjected to the pressure from these pockets when cover is closed.
I bought a similar case for my mom's iPad2, not before long I have to manually removed those inside-pockets because they imprinted two squares on iPad's screen.
I'm sure 7.7's screen is stronger though, but it is still not nice to exert any pressure on it.

[Q] Best Case?

I just got a Tab for Christmas and was wondering, what is/are your favorite case(s)? I'm looking for a case with a built in stand and good protection. Material and cost really don't matter.
I have had the official samsung galaxy tab 10.1 case for several months now and it's holding up nicely. Contrary to 3rd party cases, it fits the tab perfectly, not adding excessive bulk to the tab. You can stand the tab up or just have it rest at an incline. When completly opened it gives much better grip to hold the tab with one hand. You'll find several reviews on youtube if you search for "galaxy tab 10.1 case review"

Are you referring to the Official Book Cover? The only problem is the cost, is the case worth the ~$60 price?
360 case by pyro skins. Great case

Yeah... That's the one I was referring to. It is in fact a little steep at ~60$, but I find it's worth it because of the fit. The leather ones wrap around the corners and cover the sides, which actually may protect the tab better, but I just don't like the extra bulk... The galaxy tab 10.1 is a very thin tablet, I want a case that keeps it that way as much as possible.
On youtube one of the reviews compares the official case to the Belkin one, which gives a good idea of diffences in fit.

I really like it.
Clip case by Pyro Skins. I sent an email to him applauding the case and mentioned what MAY have been a problem with the case, and 30 minutes later I had a tracking # for a second case, no questions asked. You cant beat that kind of customer service.
Indeed the Official Samsung Book Case takes this one. Very functional and keeps the thin profile of the device. Only gripe is when taking pictures, since you'd have to hole up the front cover. But who takes a lot of snaps from their tabs anyway?
I do. Not a problem with Pyro Skins. Also thin and cheaper to buy.
I chose 360 case because of
A. Price
B. Don't have to leave case open in order to charge the tab. I want my tablet covered when left out on desk/table when charging. The official book case has to be left open to charge (I believe).

I agree
this case is very thin and I love it
After looking at all the suggestions, I purchased the VIPERTEK Premium Slim Leather Case Folio with Built-In Standbest from Amazon for $25. I really wanted a clip case and I chose the ViperTek over the PyroSkins clip case for the ability to charge while the case is closed. Thank you all for your input.
I am using the Belkin - Ultrathin Folio & very happy with the case so far.
Drop Tech Series
I got the official samsung case and it's pretty awsome. A little expensive tough. A friend of mine was looking for a case for his tab and he found a similar case at dealextream. It does look a lot like mine, at least from the pictures.

[Q] Anyone figure out how to attach a lanyard?

Lanyards are pretty awesome for preventing your phone to fall out your hand and out your pocket. I was pretty devastated not having a lanyard anchor for this phone.Has anyone found a way or a case that allows a lanyard?

It has a lanyard attachment (corner) and gives a little protection to the camera without really adding anything to the size.
be honest you know the real reason you wanted a place to attach a lanyard is so you could decorate your phone with charms..

I used to have those charms from gacha gacha machines, well I still use it to anchor the phone in my fingers. This s3 is too big and its very easy to drop with one hand operations, Im getting something like this http://www.amazon.com/Cellphone-Han...UTF8&coliid=I3PR2TUZ7ONQF6&colid=1QPYSXH0KHBP

My Review of Tridea Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Italian Card Pocket Standing Case

Hi guys
This is my review of the Tridea Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Italian Card Pocket Standing Case in black.
I don't normally review stuff, but I have been looking for weeks for a decent case, and found one, so I thought I would share my findings with you.
The case cost me £20 from here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221294957362
Which I thought was a pretty good price. It is a flip case, it does not replace the back of the phone like the standard Samsung Flip case. The fit is nice and snug, and doesn't add too much bulk to the phone. It is made of faux leather and the inside is a nice soft suade like fabric. There is a slot for 1 credit card.
It closes fully, and doesn't flap upwards. The build quality is very good. The cut outs for the various holes is top notch. It allows the phone to stand either vertically like a book or horizontally via the stand functionality.
Overall I am very happy with the case and would recommend it fully.
Wish list:
I wish it has is the ability to wake the phone when you open the flip!
Second, I would pay extra for some proper soft leather, that would be the icing on the cake!!
Some pictures:
I got an almost identical case in real leather from a hong kong ebay seller and I absolutely love the thing.

Galaxy Tab S4 Case With or Without Magnets (NOT KEYBOARD COVER)

When I was considering buying the S3 and perusing it's forum, I encountered a thread, or threads, that talked about the pro and cons of various cases in respect to magnets contained within them, and potential trouble/interference/distortion of magnets on the screen and S-Pen. So, this is to start a similar discussion on this subject as I have ordered the S4 and will, almost certainly, want to use it with a case of some sort.
I have already ordered the TiMOVO Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5" Case from Amazon https://1n.pm/WDzp1
but wish to see what others are doing/thinking.
I don't that is a bad choice. I like the similarities to my S3 cover. I have the S4 keyboard and it could have been better designed.
UAG case
I'm not really a fan of cases with the flip covers. I was hoping to get something with a kickstand on the back, but most that I found online were flip covers.
I was hoping for a rugged case to come out, but with very limited options I just went to a local gadget store and chose the Urban Armor Gear Exoskeleton 10". The top edges of the screen are slightly covered but with watching movies there's usually a black bar at the top and bottom of the screen so I don't really mind it. The Tab is kind of exposed but there really isn't much bulk when holding it. It has a small kickstand and a slot for the S-pen. It's not perfect but it's working well for me. Amazon has a cheaper price compared to the official UAG website.
I also have the grey model (off-white back) and opted for the black exoskeleton case. I am enjoying the contrast between the tablet and the case.

To anyone, The s pen is very easy to lose, why would you buy a case that cant hold it?
I picked up the samsung book cover from best buy today(price match amazon $54) seems pretty high quality so far. I wish UAG would make the metropolis case for this tab. That is my favorite tablet case of all time, but seem they only like apple.
I got one from Verizon, it's their brand but it's just like an otter box. No flip cover and surprising thin and nice.

thanks Scott. that's pretty reassuring, as this case would tick a lot of boxes. the S4 (esp the 256GB / 6GB / LTE version) is so damn expensive (and imported), i need to be careful
have you seen this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ9M9LHphyo
user claims "The magnet effect happens over time, and is likely not reversible. I don't recommend using cases w magnet auto sleep."
Stay original! This is s damn expensive device, especially those of us that got the LTE version from start.
I got the Samsung Book Cover, and gonna buy the keyboard cover if there are any black friday deals out. =)
I like the Infiland case because it has a dedicated slot for the pen as well.

Yes it has! Works 100% of the time. Only minor flaw with tablet is that I often like to have the case in "low profile" and when I am using DEX mode, it wont rotate to fit "low profile".

Best rugged case for Tab S4

I'm a new Tab S4 owner, and don't have a case yet. I had the screen shatter on my first tablet, a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, and I've been crazy scared of drops ever since. It had one of the leather / cardboard book sleeve covers. Bumped off a bed stand onto a hardwood floor, and bang! On phones and smaller tablets I've gone to Roocase and on my Galaxy Tab S2, I have a Beetle Defense cover.
It seems like book sleeve covers are much more common than heavy duty cases for the Tab S4. Especially in tandem with keyboards. Are there any that are rugged enough to protect a dropped tablet? If not, is there any concensus on the best rugged case for the S4?
Thanks,
Joe
You are probably better off searching Amazon for " shockproof rugged samsung tab s4 case " and reading the reviews. There are a number of them out there. I personally don't use one myself. At home my Tab S4 sits in the pogo charging dock in my home office on my desk. And when I'm on the road I use this case https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GXDCGLQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you look closely that case has a strap that goes around the back to hold the case shut and pretty well protected. Though I have yet to drop it to test it out. FWIW I had the similar case by the same company for my Tab S3 and it is still running like a champ 1.5 years later.
But when I need to take notes by hand I take the tablet out of the case as it is easier for me to write on it with no case. I don't know how much interference a rugged case would have trying to write on it in terms of ergonomics. So I'd be sure to check reviews on how hard people found to write on the tablet while in the case.

Thanks, aspexil, I'm seeing a lot more cases on Amazon with "shockproof rugged" than I did looking for just case. Search terms are everything. Thanks also for comments on folio case - it is one I was looking at yesterday.
Take care,
Joe
Not cheap but Otterbox does make a Defender for it.
