Can someone please do me a favor and check the fit of a naked Note in the holster?
I know tbe website says its for use with the Active case but it has been my past experience that many times a naked device will still hold nice and secure in other holsters like this..
I never use a case and have never had a single issue and I always use Seidio holsters..
Thanks in advance for any and all replies..
This has already been discussed. The Naked Note will not hold securely in the Seidio holster.

Actually, I think there's one out there that actually is part of a case that's thin and I believe the holster might work. I'll try and find the case.

I have this case, in black not purple. It will not work with a nekid Note. The case is two pieces. One is a holster and the other holds the Note. A bare Note will fall out of the holster. It is a decent case\holster combo, especially for the price.

Dont be. I was waiting for this since i got my note in late oct.
So i decided to make myself one.

Works really well.
In real life it looks much better than the pics
I will be leaving sprint at the end of July and going to ATT and the note is the number one device on my list. I was wondering if anybody had tried a naked note with an extended battery in the seidio holster to see if it would fit securely since it is fatter.

Thanks I wonder if you can use the tpu case instead of the one that comes with it because the tpu protects the camera..?
I personally think that it looks like garbage from the front. Now the rear of the case looks ok, and the way the holster turns into a kickstand is a cool concept. The way the front just clips on looks tacky in my opinion though...

Looks very similar to a case/holster combo I had for my BB Storm (god I hated that phone) . The case part just pops on the phone and it slides into the holster . Was a good combo back in the day took alot of beating and never broke or gave out .

The clip anchors for "kick standing"/kick stand broke in less than 2 weeks after I got it. Company did send replacement (with another case included!). The plastic clip that goes on your hip and kick stands with the metal clip thingy snapped in half after 6 days of use. Didn't bother to RMA again. The cases themselves are thin and are pretty solid, though. Going for Seido's thin case/kickstand product. Wish they had it in red, though!
Now I know jivy has posted his opinion about this a few weeks back but has anyone else ordered the at&t version that has come out? What's your opinion? Compared to the pop case?

I have one and am quite happy with it. I did cut off the flaps covering the USB and headphone jacks as they drove me nuts.
just got mine, they have a new version with the flaps and holes in the right place. its perfect for me- not too much extra bulk, but lots of protection

Does anyone know of a holster that would work with this? I'm really a big fan of the protective covers over the ports as I work in a pretty dusty environment. I have a Seidio surface case and holsterthat I'm currently using, but it has no protection for the ports whatsoever.

I have a zagg on mine and I love it. I could care less about the orange Peel or whatever...it protects my screen. Can't wait to get my otterbox though.

I got my Commuter in today and I really like it. It's much sleeker than the Casemate Pop I bought when I got the phone (although I like the Pop, don't get me wrong).
I had Commuters on my 3GS and have one on my 4S as well, so I'm not new to this case, only new to the SGSII version. I like how it flows with the back of the phone (makes pulling it out of my pocket easier since the "hump" at the bottom is still there). I also like how it covers the top of the face...the iPhone version doesn't have that and I like the protection. And it works great with my cheap screen protector (although I'll probably put the Otterbox screen protector that came with it on).
This is definitely a great case for the SGSII since it's highly protective and doesn't add much bulk to the phone at all. The one reason I always go with the Commuter for my phones is the built-in port covers and these don't disappoint.

I'm liking mine. The only gripe I have is that the rubber makes it not slide in and out of a front jeans pocket as easy, kinda sticks to the pocket material.
I just got mine. Seems nice except for the top rubber part doesn't lie flush on the phone. It's like the case is ever slightly too tall or too wide, and it could have been avoided if it were designed be symmetrical instead of having the extra material on the top of the phone.

I just wish it had a holster like the defenders do. I love otterbox cases.
I'm just curious whether we can expect a defender series for our device or the international version. The Skyrocket has been on the market less than both devices and already has 3 series of cases in multiple colors. Sort of clear who gets all the accessory love at this point.

I think someone on here asked Otterbox (use search) and they "do not have current plans" to make a Defender for the SII or something like that.
I bought a Seidio Active with holster. Seidio basically said the same thing and do not have any plans on making a Convert for the SII.
Sounds like the Ballistic case is your best bet (see below). I like the way the Otterboxes look though but only the Defender comes with a holster.

Yeah i think i saw the thread you are referring to but the guy only really commented on the belt holster and screen protector both of which i had no interest in. I was thinking about giving one a shot but im definitely going to see if i can get more info/opinions on it. If i get one ill throw up a review with pics.

I would too. I personally don't mind the extra size at all. My Inspire 4G survived a motorcycle crash thanks to a defender case with no damage to the phone and just some scuffs to the silicon on the case. Took a spill between 30-40 with the phone in my pocket.

This is also the seido (sp) case just rebranded. It looks sharp but the kickstand is actually pretty crappy. It feels solid at first but few months of use, it gets too worn out to support any weight. I'm kind of disappointed. Loved it at first though.

I have been rocking the Seidio hev3d
I have had the Seidio hev3d for about 8 months and it is a great case. Cheap sturdy case and is easy to put on and take off if battery pull is necessary.

I also have that case and been having it for about a year but i droped it once and case craked. It did serve it perpise of not damege my phone but 3 months later itcracked from the power side so now the case its a bit loose on top i am still thinking of bying this case again but i would like it cheper than 30.00 dollars witch i paid at amazon.
Seidio hev3d was what I went with in the end after a long look. Others look tacky and cheap. This isn't the thinnest but definitely the best.
If I do drop my phone, something I have never done and we are going back 12 years or so ! I know that this should keep it in one piece.

So, I searched around and found out that the Seidio Active holster for the sgs2 works perfect in conjunction with the otterbox case. I just received the Seidio holster today and can confirm that they do indeed work extremely well with each other. If i didnt know better, id think they are made to go together. Hope this helps some of you.

Lol. And yeah I really like this case. It has all the ports covered up. (Charging and headphone ports) I've dropped it hella times already and the case isn't even scratched or anything. The corners are that soft material, so that helps.
