[Q] TouchWiz wallpaper flickering left and right - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have not had this problem before, even when I was using modded TW launcher with disabled scrolling and 4x5 icons layout. Since I upgraded to Omega v27 I now have a problem where the wallpaper flicks left and right when I return to the homescreen. Has anyone else encountered this?

[Q] Scrolling Lag in new ADW Launcher

The new ADW Launcher is seeing a considerable lag when I use it with a live wallpaper. However, after prolonged use, (after the first time i figured this) the problem was not fixed even on changing to a static wallpaper and I had to clear the cache for each application. Later, the problem gets fixed when I change to a static wallpaper.
Live wallpaper worked fine until the update of ADW Launcher.
Is anyone else facing the same problem? Any fix so far?

annoying shading under notification bar

Hi,
I'm currently on NeatRom XXUFMB3 (android 4.2.1), using the latest version of Apex launcher (1.4.4)
and since I upgraded, I now have this half-an-inch-ish shaded bar / shadow underneath my notification bar on homescreen - never had it before; it's hiding the top of the homescreen wallpaper, it's just annoying and I want to get rid of it but I have not managed so far.
Yes, I did search the Internet and could not find any clear explanation ,not knowing how to define it in the first place!
Is it related to android 4.2.1 or Apex Launcher (BTW in Apex, homescreen settings > hide shadows is checked but does not seem to change anything)
can anyone help please ?

Known bug of the leaked firmware
Set a live wallpaper and then your wallpaper again. That will remove the shading for sometime. It'll come back, though. We've got to live with it till this issue is fixed, possibly in a future firmware.

Apex Launcher and Wallpaper

Hi guys,
I've got a problem with my wallpaper on Apex Launcher.
I only have one Homescreen that is not scrollable. In other words, it is fixed.
To set my 480x800 px wallpaper as the homescreen background I used Wallpaper Wizardrii.
The problem is when I close some apps (e.g. firefox or some games), my wallpaper slides to the right, so that it doesn't fit to my screen anymore. (The left half of my screen is black and the other half is the wallpaper).
I think it could be a problem with the no scrolling options of Apex Launcher and Wizardrii.
Does someone else got such a problem and maybe has a solution to solve it?
Thank you

That's probably because you have 1 Homescreen, the stock is 5.

Full screen widgets missing?

Hi.
I just upgraded to latest android version but the only issue im having is that certain 4x4 widgets are now only available for the lockscreen rather than the home screen...
Is there any way to get these 4x4 widgets to work for the homescreen like before? Maybe there is a certain mod?
Thank you.
Anyone?

wallpaper issue in landscape mode (launcher and lockscreen)

Hi everybody,
Im currently cooking a rom and now i have this very strange issue.
In stock android (4.4.2) landscape mode was blocked for both lockscreen and launcher.
I then went on and replaced the lockscreen and the launcher, and added "log.tag.launcher_force_rotate=VERBOSE" to build prop.
Now both can be rotated just as i wanted it, but however when i rotate to landscape mode, wallpapers are resized incorrectly, leaving a black bar on the side
Also, when in landscpae mode, wallpaper doesnt scroll when moving through home screen.
Wallpapers are 2160x1920. Have a look at the screenshots to know what I mean!
Using some kind of live wallpaper (like muzei feg) the issue doesnt appear
Anyone knows where this comes from? I found several threads with this issue with google but no solution...
thanks in advance!
EDIT: Solved. Issue was in the launcher3.apk. I replaced it with SlimLauncher by slimrom all working fine now.
