Can't flash PJ75IMG after Dirty Racun S-OFF - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Ok so I followed the instructions on Dirty Racun's tutorial to S-OFF my HBOOT 1.15 4gLTE, and it worked just about perfectly.. The only issue I had was something about a QHSUSB_DLOAD or something like that, but on the IRC chat the person helping me said that didn't matter, and as long as my bootloader said "*DIRTY RACUN* S-OFF HBOOT 1.15" that I was fine.. Well I had to fastboot TWRP because it wouldn't flash as a PJ75IMG.zip through bootloader, and since than I've tried a few other PJ75IMG.zip's and none of them are recognized in Bootloader either.. I asked for help in Dirty Racun's forum but I was told that they only assist us up until S-OFF and that anything after that was not in their venue.. I was thinking maybe this was a bad S-OFF, but not sure if I can redownload my S-OFF tools and try again, or what...!?
- yes the files syntax is correct
- yes I've placed them on /root of phone
- yes I've tried redownloading the zip's and flashing again
and no, none of that has worked...
Thanks in advance..

make sure its named properly

It does not go on root of phone but needs to go on root of external sd card

Do you have a SD card in your phone? I couldn't flash any PJ75IMG.zips on my phone until I threw one in. Now they flash with no problems.

Bada bing..! This worked..!! In my external_sd folder there was only one folder called "Android" so I didn't think it went in there since there was only that one folder, but that sure did the trick..!! Thank you..!!

I am having the same problem, I had a good S-Off flash 100% no errors and am now stuck with the inability to flash PJ75.IMG.zip when trying to update my radios ect. I have tried everything cyntax, root of SD card, redownload zip file. But nothing works. One thing I found funny was that the external SD card folder in the TWRP recovery mounts is different than that of the external SD card when viewing it from the phone on diskdrive and mediashare. WTF I have tried all the roots of the external SD card in both of these programs and have reformatted my card to FAT32 still nothing will recognize in bootloader. PLEASE HELP ME

Yes it is the .zip file..... still doesnt work. Maybe I am putting it in the wrong on my external SD card or something. I am using medishare and putting the PJ75IMG.zip file into the "card" no the "phone" file. Is this correct Then when I view the ext_SD from TEWRP recovery it is not there so I reboot the phone and look back in the "card" file and it is there I feel like I tried every folder possible

It should go on your removeable SD card. It's not included when you buy the phone. So you will need to purchase or already have a micro sd card It's located under the back cover at the top. Instead of media share try disk drive

Mount the phone to computer as disk drive use file explorer and copy your file to x:\ where x is whatever drive letter the computer assigned to your external card. It can't be in a folder or the phone won't see it.
MeanROM 4G LTE

Sometimes the seperate sd card is labeled 'ext_sd'...
Sometimes the seperate sd card is labeled 'sdcard2'...
You have to be careful which identifier is used when trying to access the seperate sd card.

[Q] thunderbolt won't recognize sd card in bootloader, recovery, or rom please help

problem is my tbolt won't mount a sd card in bootloader, recovery or the rom. I've tried multiple sd cards, even one that's working fine in my evo 4g. i would like to return the phone to stock if this is a hardware issue so i can take advantage of warranty but as far as i know i have to have an sd card for that. is there a way to return to stock or flash everything with adb while avoiding the sd card?

yes all sd cards i've tried (4 total) are formatted fat32 and all are recognized by my evo 4g and my cdma hero. when any of them are put into the tbolt android recognizes their presence but deems them as blank or not using the correct file system. within cwm none of the cards can be mounted. I've also tried placing a PG05IMG.zip containing stock everything on the sdcard to try to flash via the bootloader but it seems like it looks for the zip and doesn't recognize it. is there anything else i should try or is this a lost cause? thanks for the reply btw.

FIX - Corrupt SD card from S-Off

I skimmed through the general thread and FAQ and couldn't find anything on this, so I figured I'd post this!
I didn't have a smaller SD card and figured nothing bad could happen, so just used my 32GB SD card and it boinked out. Thought it was done for...until today! Here's how I got it to work.
1. Make sure you have your SD card in your phone.
2. Boot into your recovery (I used TWRP and haven't tested this on Amon Ra.)
3. Mount your USB storage and go to "My Computer" to view your storage drives.
4. Your SD card should pop up as a Removable Disk that has no info. Simply format the drive, reboot into your ROM, and bam! Fully working SD card
If anyone can test this in Amon Ra and let me know if it worked, be much appreciated, thanks!
easiest way is this:
do your s-off. boot into amon ra. goto the options and format the SD card right then and there.
you're supposed to always format the card right after S-oFF, or else the slot tends to not work right or something. this is pretty much why they said to try to use an extra backup card instead of using your own personal one, so ya don't have to lose everythin
Whoops, just realized I posted this to development lol. Sorry to any mod, if you could please move it.

I couldn't even get S-Off to work, lol. I tried for about 30 minutes and ended up with a "dead" SD card. My recovery didn't even see my SD card, I just mounted my USB storage for S&Gs to see what would happen.
Something I find that really helps as well is to make sure you don't flash the Gingerbread hboot when using the S-OFF program. I didn't think it would, but it did manage to give me SD card issues until I flashed a proper ICS hboot.
I'm only mentioning this because after I S-OFFed and got the SD card issues, formatting it did nothing at all to fix the problem. Only after I got the right hboot did everything finally start working again.

I didn't even get that far lol. S-Off didn't work and my SD card was a dud afterwards. my computer would see the drive, but wouldn't do anything with it. My phone just said "blank SD card" and couldn't format.

The method I posted. Just went into recovery, mounted USB storage and formatted my card from Windows. The only downside is that formatting can ruin an SD card...but it's not much to worry about if the card isn't working, anyway =p

formatting can ruin an SD Card? please elaborate. i format SD cards all the time.
I've had a few where the format went "bad" due to some reason and rendered the SD card completely useless. Same has happened to a few people I know and have read of the issue before. I didn't mean that to say "Formatting your SD card enough will ruin it" lol.
*EDIT* I wish I knew about that insurance you talk about in your sig when I bought my phone

I just unmounted mine in Android and formatted it with Windoze. Then I formatted it again in Android. I've corrupted SD Cards all kinds of ways. It's real easy to do if you get stupid with the overclocking/undervolting. I've formatted the 32 gig I first got for my BlackBerry 9630 a few dozen times. It's still as reliable as any other SD Card I have. Better than some, in fact. The only real good way to format a solid state memory device is to write zeros to it. If not, NAND (which your SD Card is) device write cycles can take twice as long.
guys i tried all the format methods listed above still no luck, windows states its a raw format with 0 mb available

S-OFF'd now SD card is not working in ROM but works fine in recovery?

I am running Nils P 5.6 Business ICS ROM with the GB fw (old fw) patch. I S-OFF'd earlier today and flashed the jb_hboot when it asked me if I wanted to flash it during the process. Now my SD card is completely absent from inside the ROM. I was reading in another thread that I need to do the SD card fix, but that is only if S-OFF wipes my SD CARD. However, if I boot into recovery, I can mount my SDcard to windows just fine. I can even flash something else from the sd card if i want to. I tried wiping my the ROM and reflashing it to start fresh to see if my SD card would show up and it's still missing. Any ideas?
Edit: to be clear when I S-OFF'd (not sure if this matters) I used the 3.14.605.5 JuoponutBear's tool running Nils 4.3 Business ICS Sense which had the 3.14.605.5 base and it only took my one try. I know the instructions said to be on a stock ROM...
Did you try to mount your SD card while in the ROM.
Yeah, it only mounts the internal storage.

How? When I go to Settings -> Storage under 'SD card' it says Total Space "Unavailable" and then directly under that it says 'Available' "Unavailable" and then the next 4 options are greyed out.
Put it in an adapter and see what your computer does with it. If you can format it there do so...then if you're phone doesn't recognize it you can rule out the physical sd card from possible issues.

I have and I've done that. I have a little microSD USB adapter and when I stick my SDcard in that it mounts to windows perfectly. To be clear, I had my spare SDcard in my phone when I ran the S-OFF tool but my normal SDcard was working in the ROM before I attempted S-OFF.
Edit: My spare SD did get picked up in my ROM as "Damaged" after S-OFF. I tried to format it inside the ROM and it said "Erasing SDCARD" but it didn't actually do anything. I couldn't mount it with my microSD usb adapter either. I booted into recovery and partitioned it inside Amon Ra and then was able to mount it using my microSD USB adapter but it doesn't show up in my ROM either.

Can't watch the video (set to private), but you probably have a PH98IMG.zip on the root of your external sd card that needs to be removed.

This. Either boot up the phone and delete the PH98IMG.zip off of your SD card using Astro or your file manager of choice or pop the SD card in your computer and delete it that way.

After installing TWRP, N3 can't mount SD?

I just installed TWRP on my N3, when it first booted up there were some problems that I've come acrossed. First it made some apps not work..then I went into Astro to move the backup I just did to my external SD, It froze on me while moving the file so I restarted the phone. Now I can't even access my external SD card anymore. It just shows up that I don't have a SD card mounted...Any fix for this?
What I have and what I've done to my N3:
8gb SD card from my old S3
Rooted N3 from Chainfire's post and that's it
Installed TWRP
I have the same problem. I have been searching for 3 days for a solution. I am coming from the g note 2 with 64 gig extreme SanDisk sd card. When i put the sd card back in my note 2 it works fine. This sucks, I hope a solution is posted soon.

As far as the 64gb cards.
Remove everything from card.
Format as fat 32.
Replace your files.
Viola.

Best bet would be like others suggested, backup the SD to PC, reformat card and try again. [Have you tried other directory explorers ? I use Root Explorer with no issues]
I am using my 64GB card from my E4GT [S2] with no reformatting required and no problems what so ever [so far -- knock on wood]

If nothing can read [detect] the card then it is dead, kill it with fire to make sure the data is 10000000% destroyed :[
The issue is as on now TWRP cannot read exfat. Most SD cards are formatted in exfat by default. You will not be able to reformat the card on windows 7/8 machines in fat32 with out a third party program. Easiest way to reformat your card to fat32 is go to TWRP recovery and choose wipe. It will auto format your card to fat32. "be sure you backed up anything on your card prior to wipe". After you see the card has been wiped go back to install in TWRP and you will be able to choose your sd card.
