Trying to root phone, fastboot not being recognized? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just got another Atrix and I've been trying to root it. I was able to flash the unlocker SBF with sbf_flash just fine, installed adb/fastboot just fine. But, after booting into fastboot and seeing "Starting fastboot protocol support", and then running adb devices and fastboot devices after plugging the phone in, the phone is not visible. fastboot commands just hang on < waiting for device >. I've tried both back and front USB ports, but if that was the issue I would assume that I wouldn't have been able to flash the SBF.
I'm on Mint 64-bit.
EDIT: I forgot to type sudo. Shoot me.

Done and done.
I was just about to suggest using sudo.

Help with ADB/Fastboot?

I having trouble trying to get i guess Fastboot working? Essentially it goes to the step adb reboot and trying to go into fastboot. I have to manually do it since it never does. I hold the vol up + power and goes into the S/W Upgrading Screen. I not sure if that is the fastboot mode? However adb can't detect the device but on device manager it shows android com. Gets stuck on waiting for device. Any clues how to continue? I'm also trying to unlock bootloader too.
Here is what I have:
USB Drivers
USB Debug / MTP
D415 Unlocked Tmobile 4.1.2
Rooted with Kingroot
Android Studio Installed

fastboot boot twrp.img FAILED

Hi all.
I am in the process of rooting my Huawei MediaPad tablet BGO-DL09
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/root-huawei-mediapad-t2-7-0-bgo-dl09-t3705284
I could not find specific instructions of rooting this tablet.
So now first I try to install the TWRP on the tablet. I have tried few versions of TWRP but all with the same error as below..

I've already unlock the tablet using this code..
Code:
fastboot oem unlock 1234567890
fastboot screen.. already said phone unlocked..
fastboot can detect the device...
cannot find similar error in web..
status unlocked...
Code:
fastboot getvar all
lead to the same error
stock recovery still exists..
So any idea where did I went wrong?
Thank you so much for helping.

Cannot unlock the bootloader

Hey, today I went to LG's developer website and got my unlock.bin, but sadly cannot flash it for some reason.
Basically what happens is when I insert the flash command into cmd, it stays at "sending 'unlock' (1 KB)..." forever.
I've installed the LG drivers but the problem still persists. Can someone give me a piece of advice on how to tackle this issue? Thanks.
EDIT: Attached a screenshot below after disconnecting the device.

can you reply with the bootloader unlock.bin file attached?

Soft or Hardbrick? What we can do?

Hello everybody,
My buddy has a HTC One S9 and has a problem with that. The phone does not charge anymore and sticks to the HTC logo. He set the device to factory settings and there it did not work properly, he made a factory rest in recovery mode and did "mount system" why he did that is a mystery to me today!
The phone was not rooted accordingly, no TWRP on it but only the standard recovery. The bootloader is unlocked.
I had tried on the recovery via ADB sideload TWRP on it unfortunately did not work because it looks like he would not recognize the device via USB. The USB port works because the phone can be charged etc.
what can we do now to get this device up and running?

Question Need help on using QFIL to access my device.

My Device can enter 9008 successfully.
But here notice me about VIP authentication issue.
I've using the firehose provided by 9008 recovery pack, the pack provides near everything but no script and no steps to refer.
May be I'm using the correct Firehose file. And after failed operations,My device hasn't bricked.
Deep testing for this device haven't started, but I'm eager to unlock BL.
Notice:"fastboot oem" command doesn't work,it says it can't be used in normal ways. And flashing lock command also unavailable(not refused, just unrecognized command).
May normal fastboot command can't be used in my device's fastbootd .
