I'm looking for this as well. I run stock JB and thought the system would adapt to my new dpi setting(160) but it doesnt. When changing on my nexus7 it seems to follow and adapt but not on my sgs2. Currently i find the dailer to messed up as well as the alarm clock, at least when trying to swipe an alarm off, making it force close.

[Q] Live wallpaper on lockscreen

Anyone knows how to get a live wallpaper on a lockscreen without using any specific launchers? Im using sslauncher now and unlikely to change since it rocks my boat.

Not sure about your specific launcher, but jkay's mod will let you do this on Touchwiz 4.0 (Touchwiz roms)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154278
For the lockscreen wallpaper choose Transparent or Same as Homescreen (Homescreen is better unless you want to see your widgets etc)

jkay's mod is fine but I'm not sure if it will work or break the rom im using. There's no indication whether it's compatible universally across all ICS roms or just stock ICS rom.
I didn't realise you were on ICS. No JKay does not currently have an ICS version of his mod, but he is working on one check this out from time to time to check on his progress, but do not ask him for ETA etc

[Q] How to change app drawer grid to 5x6? (default 4x5)

I just recently change my ROM to Omega 5.2 can't seem to find how to change the app drawer grid to 5x6.
BTW I'm using Nova Launcher. TIA
Same question here.
I've tried searching th forum but can't come up with the answer.
Also - anyone able to tell me ho you can tell if the upgraded camera - 30fps has been installed.
Thanks
I think its already included on the Omega v5.2. If you're not using omega just flash this mod then

goto nova settings-> desktop->desktop grid and change it.
btw stock touchwiz do not support changing grid size by default, there are few mods for it in our app section

Yup - I realise that but I was just wondering if Nova would work on unrooted phones

yes you can, just try the free one on the market
Thanks. I don't understand then why 5x6 was meant to be a feature of Omega and yet when I installed the ROM there seemed to be no option to set it.
I'm concerned that I am using a more efficient ROM and yet straightaway I am adding extra weight.
Nova doesn't seem to move as smoothly - even as Touchwizz
When I use Nova launcher, I lose the Accuweather clock. It reappears when I go back to Touchwizz.
Is there any way round this?

Other Other launcher compatible with Jelly Bean?

Hi,
I was using ADW launcher with ICS.
After having flashed to Jelly Bean, I have noted that the launcher
I was using with ICS (Adw launcher ) is no more compatible .
Adw is in my opinion much more user friendly than TW, has more features like
having more than 4 icons in rows or columns per dock or having a black background below the name of the icons , etc.
Any idea wich launcher has also these features?
Thank you.

I am currently using Apex with official JB. Works fine.
Nova and Apex are still the best for me basically the same features for both launchers

I have tried both (Apex and Nova) and Nova is in my opinion the better one and it has a feature to import desktop layout from another laucher.
Saving a lot of time
Are you guys not getting the transparency bug in Nova and Apex ?
Or are you using the fix?

Which ROM did you try because some ROMs don't have trebuchet. Also you can look in the x10 mini forums for an ICS xperia launcher for ICS. Also look in the galaxy mini forums for an ICS touchwiz launcher as both of these phones are ldpi.

Changing dpi

Have a Note2. Prefer a 240 or 220 dpi. On TouchWiz Roms you need modded apks for TW based apps for layouts to look right.
Is htc and sense the same way?

Sadly it doesn't work well with Sense 6 at all. Most of the widgets will not enlarge due to the DPI. If you're running Google rom, you can though.
Do you know which ROMs support changing the DPI? I don't like doing it through Xposed, since you have to do it app-by-app.
