What do you mean?

ROM from S3V3N always been very energy efficient and cost effective. I personally use since he showed his works at FORUM android.com.pl
It may not always writes in his work from someone taking modifications, or scripts, but they are forgiven him: D
I recommend! stability, well-chosen scripts (no bends) and, as always, is effective as a whole visual look.
BTW. One surprise me that he does not want to put the subject here and share with you their work. You have to respect that he allowed to share, come on I can do on his behalf.
Greetings to S3V3N of Polish

Maybe due to a cocktail of scripts.... This happens on other devices with similar 'roms'

Hi,
before installing the rom, have I to wipe all?
after installing the rom, I simply restart the phone?
at the moment didn't install, I heard that there are a few reboots.

So no bravia engine?
Someone need to post benchmark screenshots!

Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
My tester sahib tested Asphalt 6 and NFS Hot Pursuit, it lagged before and on other ROMs but here not.
Its out!!
So what is the difference between Gaming rom and Custom rom ?
Is the Gaming rom perform better than custom rom even not playing game ?
Which version should I use on Doom's kernel for unlocked bootloaders?
This ROM is alot faster then custom but you will loose alot features like Timescape,Gmail,Email....
Read OP there it says what apps are left!
So that means no bravia or xloud aswell?
Thnx sahibunlimited!
Hey,

[ROM][ICS 4.0.4][27-Jun] Spacious, smooth and light ICS

In continuation of the highly appreciated Spacious, smooth and light Gingerbread ROM, I present you the ICS version!!
Works on Locked bootloader also as reported by FTW_260
1. What is so special about this ROM?
The main feature is 400 MB is free on /data for your apps!

}
This is the highest free on any custom ICS ROM for the Neo V.
2. How is this made possible?
a) This ROM has been ODEXed. Hence all dalvik files for system apk's are in the /system partition itself!
b) Dalvik-cache has been moved to the /cache partition.
3. Why ODEX the ROM?
a) ODEX ROM's load up faster the first time
b) ODEX'ed system apks do not create .dex files in dalvik-cache, hence size of dalvik-cache decreases. This is required so that there is enough room on the /cache partition for the dalvik-cache also.
4. What are the features of this ROM?
Based on official stock ICS firmware for Neo V
Rooted and busybox (latest su binary and Superuser.apk)
12 Notification toggles with QuickPanel app for editing them
Many bloatware apps removed
File manager (ES File explorer) added
My tweaks for better performance
UOT kitchen compatible

5. Where to get this ROM?
v4 - based on official ICS 4.0.4
Download (Mediafire - 164 MB) + [ Update 1 Neon OR Update 1 Blue ]
+ Supercharged services (Details here)
+ Optional apps pack
+ Optional Restore framework without onscreen buttons (New Link)
+ Optional Neo Patch <- NOT for Neo V
+ LED notification fix
(Supercharged) (Credits arcatarc and me)
+ Optional 7OH mods (skip tracks with volume + reboot recovery + more) See here
+ Optional Xperia S Mega Pack + Walkman fix [ Details ]
+ Optional Disable_Data_Disabled_Notification.zip
Want better battery life? See here
v2 - changelog on 2nd post
Download (Mediafire - 176 MB) + Offmode charging fix
Tip: Best if supercharged, steps here.
6. How to install this ROM.
Copy Downloaded files to SD card.
Enter recovery by pressing the back key when you see the blue light with vibration.
If you were not on stock/stock-based ROM, wipe Data is safer [ AFTER NANDROID BACKUP ]
Install the ROM zip.
Optionally install optional packs (open and delete whatever you dont want)
Reboot to you new Spacious, Smooth and Lightwieght ROM
7. Any disadvantages of ODEX'ed ROM?
The only disadvantage is that you cannot install custom themes on the ROM.
But, mind you, UOT kitchen can be used to change a lot of the UI.
8. But why not use Link2SD or Dalvik2SD?
It has its own problems, most important being io speeds from the card and problems when card is removed.
10. Credits?
hansip87 - for the status bar toggles
muzontnt and umarian for ICS 404 toggles - thread here
Sony - for ICS update ( and making wonderful firmware )
and all Devs etc on XDA for making custom ROMs possible!
Addons
UOT Battery + Themes
v4:
- Xperia apps + music integrated
- Supercharged services
- LED on message/gmail fix - [credits arcatarc]
- All previous goodness!
v2:
- Using modified stock kernel (better battery life)
- New tweaks, makes the ROM fly
- Supercharged services.jar (that means you can install supercharger script directly) - credits hansip87
- ODEX'ed for saving /data space and smoothness
- dalvik-cache moved to cache.
Tip:
- Only phone dialer lags (in all ICS stock and custom). My fix is to use another dialler. For me, Touchpal (mobile link) works without even a second of lag!!
v1:
- ODEX'ed for saving /data space and smoothness
- dalvik-cache moved to cache.
- removed many useless applications.
Downloading now.. will review later in the day..
Expecting it to be as simple and plain and airy as ur GB..
Keep up the efforts
Expecting no random or usb chargin/wifi battery drain stuff..
Thanks Shardul
Hey guys, I am on fully stock ICS, no root, no unlocked BL...
What to do to get this installed? Procedure guide?
If you can help PLZ? Steps by step...
I've installed your Rom, but Wifi doesn't even switch on. The button is like disabled
EDIT: I had Official Stock Kernel, flashed night-elf ics beta RC2 kernel and Wifi works
Please, is any way to make it work with stock kernel? I prefer that better than custom kernels...

The dream come true , I didn't thought that you will make ICS! GB is awesome I'm using it since I've got my Neo, If your ICS is as good as GB then everyone this is the best rom Dude your are BIG!

Try the GB now, just remove apps you dont want..
Same for ICS, use Titanium to remove useless apps.
Personally, I have removed all Sony launcher widgets, Facebook, Sony store etc in my device, but kept it in my ROM, cause someone may want it.
Can you add some detailed description about perf. pack? What it does?
Also, have you tried Mod that Madfysh mentioned? Will it work for your rom?
thiss is nice and smooth..
BUT the swipe to kill running apps is missing... the major upate of ICS

Sorry guys, but there is a small bug in the installer (aroma)
If you select any option other than Dalvik2Cache, you may get a bootloop.
If you have no problem, you do not need to download this patch.

Just extract the patch files and run "Run_me.bat" -> Drag and drop the ROM zip on the window -> The ROM zip is updated -> Flash the zip now..

the recovery shows:
-Deleting old Files
-Copying system Files
-Setting Permissions
-Installing Busybox
-Setting Recovery Permissions
-Zip Allinging
-Unmount System
Done
Thanks again.
after 1 hour of testing, i have found some minor setback. maybe it was my fault, but anyway i just share what i experiance
after following every instruction down to the line, all was ok, and i did it without inserting my sim card into the phone, but then after 2 time i reboot the device and insert my sim card on the 3rd reboot, suddenly the screen was not responding and turn black, and after manually reboot it for 3 times, its function properly and i did it by setting the cpu to max with performance, after that all are ok :good:
my device was rooted by bina4ry root tool, cwm by atis112, bootloader lock.
thank you very much thebrainkafka :good::good:
I have 1 question: Is there any significant improvement from the stock ICS in terms of performance? Coz i am really happy by the way stock ics is performing on my device. I dont wanna mess it.
and please share some screenshots.
how is this rom's battery consumption?

How is the battery consumption compared to gb's??
Sent from my ST27i using xda app-developers app
his thebrainsrom definitly better compare to stock rom. so yall just try it out yourself the rom.
for me having more option for the cpu control and less crappy stock app was very good.
i experiance no lag and battery only (2% drop for 3 hours of doing noting without wifi), (4% drop for 3 hours of sms alot, call for 5minits), (23% drop for 2 hours playing heavy games chaos rings to be exact).
have not test wifi and mobile data yet.
hope its help
4 thx on first post..... Mmmhh seems not to be a big need for this Rom on GO

its a big need:good:
because of ur rom its help my device to be faster and smoother with longer battery life, for 1day use, i manage to have 52% left of battery with cpu set to performance(calling about 45minits time, sms alot, games for 1 hour), never did my phone survive this long when cpu set to performance without charging at the evening after a full charge in the morning.
please continue this rom:fingers-crossed:
bytheway, i notice the bootlogo was a bit off to the right, maybe the resolution? anyway, GOOD rom:good::good::good:

Overview
This rom combines the style of the Xperia UI while removing the bloat that Sony shovels along with it to provide an experience unmatched! Only the best of Xperia features have survived in my purge of Sony's firmware This rom is to be installed on STOCK Sony F/w Only ! (ie, 6.1.1.B.1.10 or 6.1.1.B.1.54) Depending on the base firmware, you might encounter bugs as such and not directly related to the rom (Yes, Im referring mostly to the broken tethering in B.1.54 )

Mods will work fine but due to the large no. of tweaks I added, some Performance scripts might clash with them, reducing performance or even causing system instability.. So I suggest asking me first if a script might clash before installing it
Installation Instructions
Stock ICS Rom (With no Rooted edits/Mods) : Flash zip via CWM ( Factory Reset.etc is automatically taken care of ) then Wipe Cache
Stock ICS Rom With Mods or Custom Rom : Flash Stock FTF, and then flash with CWM and wipe Cache
For Devices running a custom Kernel, Please flash CustomKernelSupport.zip via CWM before booting! Note: This zip file only makes sure there is no clashes, etc and doesnt allow running a Custom Kernel On a Bootloader-Locked Device Also, Install the Kernel & the stock FTF first, before you flash the ROM & CustomKernelSupport else you might lose Root access.Im looking into a fix for this now, but till then, I believe you can just reroot it with Bin4ry method ( or alternatively, reinstall again in the order I just gave)
Addons Package
The Addons Package contains the following mods which I recommend you do install. However, I want this ROM to be fast and simple, while allowing customization options for the end-user. For this reason, I have included these mods as an Additional zip which is an optional Install.
Just flash via CWM and Reboot! You can flash directly after installing the rom or later after booting it up

Hints For Better Performance/Battery
There isnt much to post here since I already included most of them in the rom itself But here goes!
1) Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
2) Download NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option
Thanks for releasing a new ROM for xgo! I'll try it tomorrow after my work.
Thank you, I would be happy to try you rom but its to complicated for me to move all the way from Munjeni custom Rom with his v14 Custom Kernel+memory_tweaks (excellent platform ). You asked by default to installed it on STOCK Sony F/w Only.

Sorry about that mate I thought it's alot easier to just flash this after stock than making everyone download the entire Rom (200+ mb each time ) Ill do that in future for people with other roms though Thanks for the advice
so, we flash stock rom, then we install cwm recovery(munjenis kernel) and then we install your rom?
cool. btw does it have any battery tweaks?
Yup That pretty much sums it up Yeah enough to improve battery by noticeable amounts Plus Custom Governors.. I suggest you switch to lulzactiveq with SIO immediately

Why do you suggest that? What does it do?
Sent from my ST27i using xda app-developers app
I think AnDyX's thread explains it far better than I could Just check out the links in his first post about What Governors are and how they affect Performance.etc
Simple explanation though : Governor and Scheduler control the speed and functioning of the Processor and I/O Cycles respectively. To control those is to control the entire processing speed and battery usage in one go You get the picture
i got stuck at the sony logo after flashing this.
You did flash CustomKernelSupport.zip didnt you ?

Can you retry with a Stock Kernel installed ? Then we could isolate the issue
