[Q] Problem with Security Update - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Im trying to download the update and I get an error code of 402 and says update failed once it reboots.
I have used ExynosAbouse to patch the exploit if that may be the problem. Help?

[Q] Help.. Verification failed with OTA update

Hi,
I finally managed to put a htc hero recovery rom on my HTC Hero (Orange/Mobistar branded). I did this because the latest Orange/Mobistar rom doesn't support the OTA updates.. I frankly don't know why my device is Orange/Mobistar branded, since there is nothing Orange/Mobistar about it, except for the packing box. And the vendor ensured me it was an official unlocked release. Only, the HTC website doesn't share the same idea when I put in my serial number.
I succeeded to upgrade my hero with the generic rom needed for the OTA updates and I finally got the OTA message to update my phone. But when I choose install and the device restarts, I receive the following error:
Code:
RA-hero-1.7.0.1
verifying update package
no signature (216 files)
verification failed
I searched google and this forum, but the only solution I found was to install the orange branded rom, which doesn't support OTA updates, nor android 2.
Anyone knows a solution?
Thanks!

[Q] HELP! Need 4.4 copy of system/customize/ACC/default.xml

Need some help please!
I successfully updated my AT&T HTC One to 4.4. Trying to get wireless tether patched, I flashed the "system/customize/ACC/default.xml" from android 4.3. Now the phone has constant errors after booting (dialer stopped working). :crying:
I have tried to flash back with RRU to 4.3 but keep getting error 155. Trying to re-install the 4.4 OTA package fails validation and quits. I have tried both options with bootloader locked, unlocked, re-locked, etc. with no success.
The file in the OTA package seems to be compressed (?) since it is binary (actual file name is "default.xml.p"). Does anyone know how to extract it from the OTA package?
Can someone please attach a copy of the original "default.xml" after upgrading to 4.4?
Thank you
Adrian

OTA update won't install - status 7

My Nexus 9 is stock, un-rooted with an unlocked bootloader.
I have received the OTA update but when it reboots it gets part way through then shows "error" with and android on his back. I have downloaded the OTA file from AndroidPolice and tried flashing via adb sideload.
It attempts to verify the current system but then errors with the following message:
Package expects build fingerprint of google/volantis/flounder:5:/LRX21L/1546449:user/release-keys or google/volantis/flounder:5:/LRX21Q/1573789:user/release-keys; this device has google/volantis/flounder:L:/LFW73W/1491895:user/release-keys

Why have I got a different build?! Is there a different OTA that i need?
I have the same issue, any one any idea?

As I have an unlocked bootloader i've just flashed the recovery from the factory image and then applied the OTA update (mostly to see if it would work, otherwise i'd have continued with factory image). It's booting up now. I guess Google will need to push a new OTA that updates from this version... a bit of a screw up though!

Failed OTA Lollipop

Just purchased a used 6806. It is running what appears to be stock 4.4.4. I had to remove root by clearing it in the SuperSU app so I can install my corporate email - I don't require root normally. That worked fine, but both before and after "un-rooting", the OTA update, which I get a notification about, fails before installing. Any easy way to verify what needs changed, or is the solution to use flashtool to flash the latest? If so, will this further allow OTA updates to complete in the future?
Update - while the direct download OTA failed, I was successful installing the update using the Sony PC Companion Windows software.
