I posted in Chulri's thread but here will be better seen from anyone.
Device : A70IT , fw 2.1.08
Is anyone willing to try something I DID and seems to me to give my tablet significant speed increase. I want to check if it is real or just my imagination.
In my latest fw 2.1.08 installed, I flashed 2.1.08 initframs and 2.0.71 zimage (both from chulri files, first post . you know how to : flash kernel from developer menu at boot holding vol- button)
And I set the speed with SetCPU 2.1.1a to 1000mHz both min and max. Also in settings menu I choosed "Overdrive"
Please test and report.
Thanks

Of course it is real, since your tablet will run at maximum speed all the time instead of running at 1000mhz for heavily load task only like default (not count the overclock here). However, it will consume more battery and get hot faster.
If you don't care much about battery life, then it will do the trick.
Before the 2.0.71 zimage kernel I was running at full speed the 2.1.08 kernel. After the switch I noticed more speed gain. That's why I need confirmation from other users.
I have had my A70 set to 1000 min and 1200 max for months now, and I have seen a speed increase, and only a little extra battery drain.

What kind of test you want to?
Have you try OverClock? Archos Gen8 can OC to 1.2GHz as well
Hey guys
I'm totally new here and nearly a complete noob !
I got a ZOPO ZP600+ 3D phone with android 4.2.2 and kernel version : 3.4.5
Chipset is MT6582 Quad 1.3Ghz A7 with Mali400MP2 @ 500mhz ( I guess ) and 1GB of RAM
I have a problem( with the phone of course ! ) that is messing with my mind
I think its related to 2D rendering
all of the launchers are slow and they're not smooth . they're even slower than a simple dual core phone !
the default live wallpapers are running on slow framerate and laggy (somewhat near 10~15 fps)
and I tested a 2D game called "Line Runner" and it runs like slow motion !!!
I don't know what the hell is wrong with my phone .
I flashed a custom rom ( have exposed framework by default) and changes some settings and tested some exposed options but had no luck fixing the issue
I ran V6 Supercharger script but still didn't fixed it
force gpu rendering on developer options didn't help
I don't have any problems with 3D games and my antutu score is ~17400
( Rooted , Custom rom , Xposed installed , CWM Recovery )
please help me ;( , what should I do to fix this issue ? Its really driving me mad
Come on guys . help me out here
Nobody really knows what the hell is wrong with my device ? :crying:
I can try testing on mine to compare results. My Antutu is also 17000 +. What other test have you made with what score, I will put those on mine and tell you, so that we see if it is consistent, or unique.
I am on my stock ROM though, please note. Has it always been like this with you, even with the stock ROM?
My xperia m4 works very slow ( UI and apps). I have got 2 gb free space. How to speed up my phone? My Antutu score is 29 000. Sorry for my english.
Model : E2303
Market: Baltic Generic
Release: 26.1.A.3.92 / R9A
Recovery : TWRP RC3
Rom: AOSGP 2
Root : yes, Super Su
Well, you can change your cpu governor with any cpu control app, you can also try greenify for hibernating your apps, sd maid pro for cleaning up the cache and other stuff.
Sent from my E2303 using Tapatalk
As you have root, advise use Adiutor kernel to increase cell performance by setting the governor of GPU and CPU and frequency, even with a custom rom you are subject to the performance of blocking sony trying to avoid overheating (which honestly It serves no purpose with or without blocking heats mt), as the rom AOSGP was based on the stock rom xperia m4 aqua.
How to set up Kernel Adiutor for no lags ?
My device too gets 29'000 points on Antutu bench, and sometimes is laggy (newest firmware - 3.111). I hope that Android 6.0 will fix these problems. Also, I don't know what Sony have put in this ROM, but it is 10x slower than the CM 12 Alpha 2.
I have performance issues too. My 2 year old z1 compact is way faster than My 2303 even though i removed a lot of bloatware. It drains the battery faster too. Very annoying. Hope someone develops a decent custom kernel and rom to make it better.
Hey guys, I just got this phone yesterday and while im mostly quite pleased with how it runs, it seems to have terrible gaming performance. I play contest of champions a lot and am suffering extremely choppy frame rates bordering on unplayable. My old moto g 2015 performed smoother. Would a factory reset help? Or would you recommend installing a particular custom ROM or flash a kernel?
Thanks in advance, Sid.
Blu_Spark kernel resolves most of the gaming performance issues. My 2015 Moto G couldn't play GTA SA at more than 5 frames per second but with Blu_spark the OPX can play it just fine.

This kernel will work on Stock ROM? If not, which ROM would you advise?
There are only two kernels out there right now and both are only officially supported by their developers on the Stock Oxygen OS. So yes it will work
Sent from my ONE E1005 using Tapatalk
this is not a gaming phone so u can try boeffla or blu spark. boeffla can allow u to overclock so that might help
I think you need to install Team Win Recovery (twrp) and then via TWRP flash the kernel zip from either Boeffla or Blu_spark. To be able to alter kernel settings flash the latest SuperSU via TWRP then restart and download for example Kernel Adiutor, or for Boeffla there's a dedicated app. Then you can change settings like the CPU- and GPU-governor. But i know from Blu_spark r114 kernel that it's by default set to blu-sparks optimized CPU governor. Good luck.
In 3D mark for Android (Sling shot ES 3.0) the OPX scores 938 where some other SnapDragon801 devices score something like 1100. That declares a bit of difference, however with optimized kernel settings you should play fluently most games, because they-re optimized for Adreno 320 and higher.

Q&AQ: Why is my OEM Unlock turned off?
A: Don't worry about it. Some weird stuff happening there, it's still on tho.
Q: Will you add AOD?
A: No. Not because I don't want, because it's impossible. Trust me, me and other devs tried alot.
Q: Will you add X feature?
A: If it's possible to add and if it's not stupid.

For reporting bugsSo if there occurs a bug in the kernel, here are what you should do to help me fix that. Remember I work without a device so I can't replicate bugs myself.
1. Write your phone's model number
2. Write your phone's CSC code
3. Write your security patch level
4. Do you have any magisk modules installed?
5. Explain the issue with details
6. Replicate the issue, then boot straight to TWRP. From there go to Advanced > File Manager and navigate to /proc. Then find a file named last_kmsg, copy that to your internal storage or SDcard and upload it somewhere then send it in my XDA PM or Telegram PM at username MITKO7411XD

Working on A600G.
Working perfectly with A600G latest update.
For faster charging, I don't see any improvement. Still stuck at 1.500mA like stock kernel. Testing using Samsung Adaptive Charger and Asus Zenfone 2 fast charger.

Thank you for testing! I could try to add Adaptive fast charging but i don't wanna risk explosion  Plus i don't have this phone. I mainly did the faster charging for people with stock A6 chargers.

thank you. hopefully for A6+ series also
my opinion fast charging not really necessary, for A6+ charging already fast and i prefer to choose default speed charging and long lasting battery than modified/faster charging but degrade battery life span.
so, for this "fast" charging feature thing, you better make 2 version of kernel... (default and modified charging speed)

Sadly, I will not support A6+ because it's a completely different phone with a Snapdragon 450 chip. I work on Exynos7870 phones, specifically this A6. About the fast charging, its up to the user how well they want to treat their battery. With faster charging or not, don't think the difference will be that big since the limitation is the charger. For example, I used to always charge my phone from my PC because it has low current and limit my battery to charge only to 80%. Now i only do the 80% thing but still. My J5 17 is 9 months old and it has only lost 200mAh of its battery capacity.
Phoenix Kernel V1.5 released. Changelog, Download link and a new antutu screenshot is in the 1st post
Hello, I have installed the kernel v1.5 on my Samsung sm-a600g. But the GPU is underclocked to 728 mh. But according to your post it should be overclocked to 1146 mh.

According to my post, the 1146Mhz overclock is optional.
Although I think the default clock is 1001 so i still have to fix it
Hi Renoxtv, I really appreciate your work u have done for the improvement of Samsung a6. But I request you to not only fix the GPU clock but also I think It would be great to have the GPU overclocked to 1146 mhz. Bcoz it has only one core and for gaming performance it MUST be overclocked to 1146 mhz. Hoping the best from you.

GPU OC is optional and will remain optional, I don't want complains about battery life. You can overclock your GPU manually with this app: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tnWJvqhvj3s41V1LMRdrtyGYCsLEwNbV/view?usp=sharing (thanks for @DarkLord1731 for app)
Go to GPU tab, select min and max GPU frequency to 1146, set Mali Power policy to always_on and set GPU governor to Booster. Revert settings when you are done with your gaming, otherwise the GPU will always run at 1146MHz even when you're not playing and it will waste your battery. Anyway, A6 is not a gaming phone in any means and this kernel won't improve it a lot. I know the GPU OC is a little complicated but for now this is what we are stuck with
Hi Renoxtv, thank you for replying so fast. I downloaded the kernel control app u provided in ur post. Everything gone as u told. Thanks to @DarkLord1731 too for his amazing kernel app. Now I can overclock the GPU as per my requirements. U are right that Samsung A6 is not the handset for gamers. But due to ur custom kernel the little overclocking in CPU and GPU will surely improve the gaming performance a bit. By the way keep up the good work and best of luck to u. :good:

If you already rooted your A6 before, installing the kernel is easy. You just download the latest kernel and flash it with TWRP. If you haven't rooted your phone, you must install custom TWRP recovery menu, go here to go to the TWRP thread, there are detailed instructions on how to install TWRP there, follow them strictly. If you successfully installed TWRP, you can then flash this kernel like you would install the rmm bypass zip and no-verity zip.
