It's a system app for HTC devices. The values and strings to enable the torch or flash are different than that of aosp/other manufactures.
TL;DR
Nope.

Htc Quick Launch Widget from Htc Ryme

I am trying to get the quick Launch Widget off a Htc Ryme and onto my Rezound, I tried to send myself the apk and odex files from /system/app but the apk fails during installation, anyone know if there is something else I can do or try, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Had it on my Inc and Thunderbolt and some of the files are apk and some are .zip files so you have to be rooted I think.

LTE 4G Rezound
I have possession of both phones , no root yet on either, both are running similar ver of gb and sense 3.5 , I just figured it was as easy as just installing the apk from one onto the other.

You can probably Google the apk download , try it.

Two issues:
First, the resolutions on rhym and Rezound are different, so even if it loads, the widget will be small.
and second, If i'm not mistaken, the quicklaunch widget requires the fusion.apk to load properly also, all the gfx files are store there, along with images for other widgets, so rhym/Bliss fusion will most likely break all the rezound widgets also. Just an FYI.
I am sure you would have to be rooted and the widget would have to be built into a custom rom.

It really is too bad. It was such a beautiful widget
Unfortunately I don't know anything about dedigning, but u wonder if it would be easier to just make a new widget?

Not good advice at all since our device is capable of running jellybean. It should probably allow for update from Google play...

Its possible but it might be difficult. Everything's possible with android except putting android on a iPhone . I don't know much but my guess would be that its baked into the framework but I could be wrong

I'm having that same issue. Playing back vm is just too low with the speaker on. Speaker works fine with everything else.
