what differentiates this from Xperia's camera besides the force-closing sphere feature?
Where is the download link ?? :S I only find a gallery apk but i can't download it because Im not signed up to this site..

You don't have to install it ... just put into the system/ app folder and change permissions and reboot.....
DONT INSTALL ..
After when u reboot... ull see a new camera and gallery app in ur phone
..

Preview on the camera apk is not Woking we need to edit the apk to get it to work it will take a picture but you can't see what you are taking
Camera works great.. BUT it has no touch capture which i like on the stock camera, eeen in the settings.
Here I represent a working JB 4.2 camera ported by miui.. all credits goes to them.. I'm just sharing this with u guys.. hope u ll like it

nexus one works?? I also flashed dat nothing changed after flashing on stock ICS... don't know wats wrong.. finally got this one working on Neo v..

Ok so normal camera mode and video works ok on pureness b13 and the photos are sharp and nice
Bugs:
panorama doesn't capture correctly
photosphere closes the app(no error on screen just goes to desktop)

photosphere will not work as it needs gyroscope sensor I think.. nothing much we can do about it...

-that share button on the lower left (with circles) also FC the gallery

when i start camera apps the viewfinder screen is glitched.no object can be seen.only some green Line s and dots. but it can take photos.any help?

Erm the Xperia Neo doesn't support 1080p, you should know that before buying the phone...
Guys we all love JB ROMS but the only thing we don't like is the camera quality ...camera app doesn't support more than 5MP and video recording is crap . So can any one PORT the stock camera app from ICS 4.0.4 to KXP and PAC ROMS .. then the ROM will be completed to full satisfaction
1+ on that, I cant even use the stock jellybean camera app on the FXP rom, it just lags and freezes.

I don't think this will ever happen.
To make photos up to 8mpx you can install a third party app.
OR
You can install PAC - default camera app is working pretty good and can take pics up to 8mpx

No. It installed as standalone apps.
I have just installed CM10 Official On my Xperia Ray,
after that
Its working fine with out camera,
my camera brightness so poor,
i have checked my friends ray,his camera better then me he is using stock IcS 4 firmware....
is that cyanogenmod bugs ?
