Lovemei aluminum bumper - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I found the Lovemei aluminum bumper while checking for the spigen neo. I was so taken away by the minimalistic approach that I immediately ordered one although I usually prefer shopping in brick and mortar stores. But accessories are for the N3 are currently a little sparse there, so I got my spigen bounce via amazon.
Although I like the bounce, I prefer the more rubbery grip of the note 3s back cover and I often get the phone out of the bounce at home.
I'm really excited how it turns out.
I'm curious whether or not I like the fact the camera lens will be more exposed than when using a case that completely covers the back of the phone. What I disliked so far about any of the cases I used on any device so far is, that usually the headphone connectors of better headphones don't fit through the cases (I have a sennheiser and yamaha over the ears for home and a pair of shures for on the road, and only the yamaha will fit without a slim adapter).

This looks nice and all but the problem is when that time comes when you have to pull the battery you're screwed if you dont carry the screw driver with you. I had that issue once with my Note II
I ordered this bumper for the Note 3 so I will report on it when I receive it.

You should beware that this bumper doesn't have a hole for the mic(?) on the right side-bottom area of the phone. I ordered this from ebay thinking it was an even thinner version but it turned out to be the LOVEMEI bumper. Mine came with a few light scratches here and there and I decided to drill a hole for the before mentioned area my self.
The fit overall is decent and I don't mind using it despite some of these flaws because its the slimmest and clean looking bumper I've found so far.

Ooops. I didn't notice the missing hole. But yes, I think drilling an additional hole shouldn't be that bad. I hope mine doesn't arrive scratched. I'd rather scratch it myself...
Amazons webpage tells me that it was sent. Arrival time is estimated somewhere between Nov. 5th and 11th. But if it was sent today, I'd think it could also arrive about next Wednesday (would be great).

Do you have one of these? I'd like to know if there's a lip around the front that prevents the phone from laying on the glass.

also would know how this bumper is

I've ordered my bumper last Saturday. On Sunday, Amazon tells me that the product was shipped via standard conditions. And the only information I got so far is, that delivery is supposed to happen..... Between Nov. 5th and 22nd.
Well, ok. Snail mail and 5th is somewhat acceptable. But the 22nd? They got to be kidding....

I like how these aluminum bumpers look but is it true that they effect reception? Anyone notice?

currently I am using this Holster case for my N3 but after getting known to this aluminium bumper now just wondering to go for one....but the only issue I would be having with it will be when I need to take out my battery then that could be a tedious task for me and for that I need to carry a screw driver with me all the time.....but I dont think its quite often to remove or to take out the battery......so would be getting the one...

I ordered mine got it, installed it and dropped 2 bars of signal.
I did multiple speed tests and lost 85% of my LTE speeds due to the bad signal.
You cant take the rear cover off, without a tiny screw driver. (the ad said you could)
has sharp edges. (I was going to sand and polish mine like chrome.)
so ya, I have a $23 dollar paperweight.
Stay away from ANYTHING metal on these devices.

Depends on how often you want to swap your battery. My razr HD has a non removeable battery and it lastet between 2-3 days for me. With my N3 I get about 3-4 days. So in my case, I don't feel like I need to take off the cover often. After reading some posts here, I'm more concerned that reception could get bad. But I guess I'll see how it works. If it's getting too bad, I can still go back to my bounce case. Although I really do like what I see on the product photos. But this one has to be seen with the real product, too.

6 Speed tests here at work, NO Aluminum bumper.
LTE on 3 bars solid inside in somewhat over utilized tower.
Consistent 7-7.98mb downloads recreated everytime. same results.
Put the aluminum bumper back on
rebooted.
3 bars went to 1 bar.
6 More speedtests.
Consistent 2.50-3.00mb download.
I repeated these rounds of testing twice.
that makes 24 total tests with consistent results everytime.

Ooops. I'll see once I receive my bumper. At work this shouldn't be an issue, but at home, reception is already somewhat flaky. I don't care much about download speeds, but the phone part should still be working ok. I'm using my phone more for reading, music, navigation, guitar tuner and such. So downloads are mostly via wifi at home.

You're right sirrrrr

I had just received the bumper like 5 mins ago. And you're right sir, the signal dropped like 60%. I am so pissed. The worst part is I ordered 5 of them, two arrived, three on the way

Well, mine didn't arrive yet. The supplier of the bumper is not amazon itself, and as the part has already shipped last Sunday, I cannot cancel my order anymore. So I'll wait and try and then see how much it affects my day to day activities. If I don't have any reception anymore or if my battery gets drained too fast, I'll revert back to my spigen bounce. Otherwise I don't care too much. I mean if you have 5 or 3 bars doesn't matter that much as long as everything works the same, at least I think so.

Tested Love Mei alu bumper and I did NOT see any reception decrease!
Tested on HSPA+ network, Vodafone Netherlands.

Just a shot in the dark here, but does anybody know if these or any bumper will work with s view cover?
I suspect the answer is no, but figured I'd ask anyway. I like the look but dislike that the sides of n3 are exposed if I should d**p it.

This is something I was afraid of, too. But actually, the back cover is replaceable and I use a screenprotector, too. I hate small scratches on my glass and prefer having them on a sheet of film that I can remove should I want to.
As the S-view cover is hinged on the back cover, I'd bet that using this accessory won't work.

I meant to ask if they will work in terms of fitting on the phone in conjunction with the s view cover.

That's what I thought I had replied to. The bumper goes all around the device, and the "hinge / spine" of the s-view cover will most likely be attached so close to the device that it would need to be under (between the bumper and the devices side trim) the bumper. I think that the bumper won't fit then anymore because it's also made to fit tight without adding bulk.
The S-view cover replaces the back of the device, so the hinge will be right where the bumper needs to go. I don't know how I should try to explain myself differently. If you think I misunderstood, I'll be more than glad to make a sketch so it gets more clear. Maybe we talk about the same but interpret each others writing differently.

Seidio Active Unboxing and Review

We have yet to have a top to bottom review of the Seido Active case for the Note, so I figured I would take the opportunity to do just that. I ordered it from Mobile City. They are top notch and got the order out in no time. As you can see, I paid on the 23rd and had it in my hands on the 26th. That's amazing speed.

The boxing was rather typical, sufficient without being overly annoying to open.
No padding was used, but none was required. It's a case afterall.
Ths combo consists of three primary pieces: Felt Lined Holster, Silicon Wrap, Outer Plactic
This reminded me alot of the Otterbox Commuter, just 2 major improvements. The Seidio has a better fitting solicon wrap and it is available with a holster, which was my biggest complaint with the Otterbox.
The silicon wrap is nice and snug but stays in place very very well. See below for just silicon wrap pictures.
The outer shell snaps into place with a little bit of wiggling and stays put. The whole package is suprisingly slim compared to what expected. Is s easy to hold onto and doesn't seem like it will pose much problems with slipping.
As for the holster, I innitially had mixed feelings. When it is seated in the holster, it is rock solid. But inserting takes a little effort at first. The silicon snags a little bit, but after a little practice it is second nature.
When worn on the belt, it looks large, but sits rather close to the body so I didn't notice it was there until flopping into my recliner. I was surprised when I looked at the photos at how big it looked, especially for something I hardly noticed was there.
Overall this is a very nice package. For under $40, it's a solid investment in protection and I highly recommend it.
Looks good. With the price you paid I'm not surprised they're on back order. On amazon they're almost msrp.

lol, hit a sore spot. I saw you were from northern california and knew that would get under your skin. A majority of california is beautiful, the loud idiots just give ya a bad rep. I've been there numerous times and rarely get to see the nicer places. Monterey was pretty nice though, but LA was not as impressive. Also have been to Beale, Travis, and a few other installations. Mostly good times, especially when you can get a local fired up.

You misunderstood me, I took it in stride. I really am not that worried about people knowing my address, I trust most the people here more then I do my neighbors anyways.
I have the Active Combo for my Skyrocket, and it's by far my favorite case for that phone. Seidio claims that it only adds 2.2 mm of thickness to the phone. That seems to be true, but it "feels" like it doubles the Skyrocket's size.
My only complaint about the Active case is that the rubber is a little too grippy, making it very difficult to get it in and out of a pocket. But overall, I haven't found anything better and the holster works great when you need it.
Thanks for the review Chief! I always used Sedio because of their holsters, easier at work. Looks like a solid case. I have mines waiting for e when I get home. Excellent review!
Hey Chief? Have you evwr owned an Otterbox Defender? If so, how does the Seidio holster compare as far as ruggedness and thickness? I am vert active at work and id hate to have the holster fall apart, especially at the clip hinge.
Thank you sir!

The Defender is a higher level of protection. They offer an integrated screen protector which serves as a moisture barrier incase something spills. But the Defender is far far bulkier. Depending on the situation depends on which I would prefer. I'd like to think of the Seidio as more of a dailey driver for the rougher then normal user like myself. If your working on roofs alot, climbing telephone polls, or tend to fall down flights of steps on a regular basis, then the Seidio Active is not likely for you. The Seidio Active is, to me, a better made commuter. I actually dropped my Vibrant (close relative to captivate) off my roof in a commuter and it survived just fine, although it did land in grass. So I have no concerns of the Active case doing a fine job.
Now for holsters. The top clip does catch the silicon part of the case at the top when you insert it, some people have mentioned this is a bother to them. I just changed the way I hold it when I put it in the case and havnt had a problem since. Before I dared wear the holster to work I wanted to make sure it was going to stay put. This is where having my wife and kids on vacation helped out because they surely would have thought me to be crazy had they been there for the test. I clipped it on my belt and ran up and down the steps about 4 times jumped around a bit and purposely knocked it into the corner as I walked around. If you are picturing me doing this you probably realize how dumb this sounds and can understand why I didn't mention it in the original review. The spring clip keeps a helluva grip on the top of the case and never once did it even try to come lose on me.
Ok then. My concern is with the clip that attaches to your belt. I'm sure the spring loaded clip that holds the phone in the holster wouldn't be an issue. I do however use my holsters in the horizontal position so maybe it might be an issue. For me, the strength and integrity of the belt clip is most important. I come from an iphone defender case and the Otterbox without a doubt had the strongest and best designed holster I've ever had the pleasure of using.

The belt clip is a low profile design. I used to use BlackBerries whos included holsters stuck out with a thick rotating ratchet area. This holster is far more low profile then those that I tended to sheer off and break on a somewhat regular basis. I just snapped some photo's of it, I have to go for a walk to get signal so I can post them so stand by for a close up so you can try to judge for yourself. Something I noticed is that it's secured with a good sized brass (in appearence) metal rivet as opposed to the commonly used plastic bindings. It's not difficult to take off the belt, but does not come off by itself (as you can tell from my goofy stair sprints mentioned previously). Going to go find signal, will post shortly.

Thanks for the pictures. I see that it may prove to be a bit weak for my purposes. But if Otterbox doesn't get off their rear ends, this may have to do.

>> REVIEW << Galaxy Note 3 S-VIEW case - Authentic VS Fake - Lots of Pics!
Fedex just dropped off my new note 3 s-view case today, and I have to say that this is one serious high quality case.
As I have been riding temporarily on the cheap flip cases from China, I have a few days of comparison under my belt.....
and for clarity sake.....there is NO comparison.
Quick Observations:
1. This case has REAL nylon stitching. This was completely unexpected as everyone said it was molded. Well, not on the flip cover. I hobby with leather craft and know real stitching when I see it - Bravo Samsung !
2. The case is heavy ! Compared to the OEM plastic back, this case is a porker.
3. The bonded vinyl is textured but NOT to look like leather. I hear the black case has a leather texture. This does not.
4. The cheap case has a soft felt lining on the inner surface (real lint collectors), the OEM case is slick vinyl.
5. The view port on the cheap case comes pre-scratched to save you the trouble. Its CHEAP and looks it. The OEM looks like some bonded or coated plastic and it definitely feels sturdier.
6. The view port on the cheap case DOES NOT transfer any touch commands. So its only a pretty window at best.
7. The cheap case has no control element, so opening and closing the case does not trigger any s-view options.
8. The cheap case clearly has no NFC antenna. Ironically, neither does the OEM back. The OEM flip does !
9. The OEM flip case is stiff. Out of the box, the cover wants to flip closed. I am sure that will change over time.
10. Last but not least, the OEM flip case extends beyond the plastic shinny edges (really samsung ??) of the phone for added protection, vs the cheap case's flush-to-the-edge design.
OVERALL - This case is well worth the $60 they charge. I do suspect it may suffer from some edge de-lamination over time as its clear that the vinyl cover is bonded. Given where the stitching is, I can see some potential for peeling around the edges. That aside - this case is a total win for the note line and Samsung R&D hit their marks on this one. I do expect to get a black version at some point as I used a black cheap case for a few days, and the the color combo looked great (like a classic tux!).
Enjoy the pics!

What a godsend this option is. I was so sick of fumbling with my Gnote 2 flip case when trying to take a pic. This is brilliant and much easier to handle.
I like the look of this case and would happily buy one but I can't help but think it's going to be a giant pain in the ass to use the phone with it on. Does the flap get in the way of holding the phone when you're using it?

I have been using a real s-view case since last week and it's amazing. I wasn't happy with the price but I got it for $35 bucks with my discount. The case is stiff and wants to stay open or closed but is slowly breaking in.

The case is stiff, no doubt, but I do expect it to lose up similar to my experience with the note 2. This case has more substance to it so it will probably take longer. Concerning the pita factor, if u buy it from Verizon and dont like it, I believe u can return it in 14 days. I don't find the case to be an issue as I talk on the phone with the cover in the closed position. This works out better as I don't have to deal with greasy ear prints. Also, when open, I slip my pinky and ring fingers on each side of the case which makes 1 handed typing easier as you have a good grip point. I also forgot to add earlier, the case does not interfere with the back camera!
A few hours in and I am loving the sview screens - just the right amount of data and jumps right yo the alerting app when you open the cover after a text or call comes in.
It doesn't have nfc built into it. Those pins are for the s view to work. Nfc is built into the battery.

great review/pics... ordered one, 25%off using business account... not bad
I think my OCD won't let me use my Note with this case, just imagining it flapping around annoys me.
Thanks for this.
I have been checking with some of the other makers of S-View cases and got this response.
"sorry, this product do not have s-view function, and sleep/weak up model,
at moment,ONLY official case has this funcion as there is a chip in the back of case,
nobody can copy that in a few month. whatever you see in the market or ebay, all of them do not have s-view function exclude OFFICIAL Samsung CASE"
So I guess it will only be the Samsung cases that work for now.
Might be another reason Spigen are holding back.

It bothers me a little bit. It starts to feel pretty "sharp" after long use. Plus It doesn't like to stay closed unless you put it face down--albeit I've only had the case about 3 days. I'm giving it a break for right now, because it's not very useful for me right now. I use my spigen most of the time now.

seems like I will go without a casing for quite awhile...
I got the case few days ago. I got nothing good to say about it.
1. Case really is "sharp" (Thankfully not so sharp that it could cut your fingers off - but close)
2. If I'm right there is magnet in the flip (left - down corner) It's just for phone to know if flip is closed or open.. But, why it could'nt be at right side of flip --> It would be abel to hold flip closed, now it flaps freely
3. Why case have to come over phone lines everywhere, why case can't be like S3 and S4 (Nohing else changes but the flip) Note 3 comes bigger and harder to handle + when flip is turned to back of the phone, it's very hard to take s-pen out.
4. Why there can't be hole for indicator led that is top of phone next to speaker, When you attach the flip cover, you can't see that blinking LED telling you that you have missed call, or any other notifications (messages, phone is fully charged, etc..)
5. S-Hole (lol, or should it be called s-view window or something). Anyway, I think it is too a total fail from Samsung (Mean the software side of it) So to list what I think is bad in it: Weather, needs that one widget enabled to work + if GPS is off it don't update weather (if GPS is all time on, that eats you battery, you cant manually set place for weather). Alarm, why window can't show when you have next alarm? How about using camera through S-Hole - What a joke, no matter what settings you have in your camera - pictures will always be squares (3096 x 3096)
That makes the camera option totally useless for me.
PS, Im not 100% sure of everything I told there, but that is how I think. And forgive me my english, I know it's not smooth and fully right writed, but I think you'll get the point

Looks nice but I wonder if it will fit the wireless charge back that I have. I also notice it needs two screws so for those who change batteries often, you'll have to carry the screwdriver. Otherwise, it looks awesome. Thanks for the link!
Are you sure that this case is as resistant as the one on the video? Because I'm thinking about getting one, and I like this one more than the one on the video, but if you can't throw it on the floor and "drive a car over it", what's the point of it?. It looks great but it's really big and Note 3 is already big. So if you don't get perfect protection than there's no point of getting one..
thx for the link

Hi, yes, its the same technology, but with another shape. here its the video of the small waist, but for the iPhone 5:
do, im not sure if it can resist a car, or the motorcycle like on this video, but its a rugged case and it will protect your $700 bucks inversion.
hope it doesn't hurt reception and gps like the original love mei case does. I bought the regular one and while it's badass and crazy protection, I can't use it due to reception getting knocked down.

I am using it right now to type this. I have been using the regular model for about two months now and the gps is the only issue I have. I just got the slim waist model from a friend today. She said that it killed her signal at her house, but she lives in the woods and only gets 2 bars at best. I live in town and I'm fluctuating between 3-4 bars all the time. I have not tried the GPS since I put the new case on. I'll upload a few pictures in just a second for those interested. I like the case a lot.
I am a police officer and I keep it in the front pocket of my outer vest. It gets rained on regularly and I just wipe the water off the screen and keep going. The silicone on the back makes it grip your dash perfect without sticking in your pocket.
I got my first off Amazon and the case I'm using now came from eBay. Both were shipped from China and it took about two weeks. Both came in nice packaging and the quality of the cases is great. I'll answer any questions you can come up with. I just discovered the thread.

Love Mei Note 3 Case
Well I can say for sure that this case is a TANK as far as protection goes. Now, I did contact someone from the company to make sure that the problems with the previous version of the case was fixed and he said yes. So I bought one, Black on Black. The new waist design is cool, but some of the reported problems STILL exist. NO 4G LTE inside a building or residence. I had to remove the mesh behind the ear speaker in order to hear anyone. The bottom speakers work very well. The screen most definitely is not SMUDGE or FINGER PRINT proof. I know that no screen actually is, but this screen is freak-en bad. So DO NOT GET ONE IF ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS BOTHER YOU. Especially you OCD clean screen freaks. The aluminum is just as bad with finger prints, sorry. The rubber on the back and sides is a DUST MAGNET. The phone is very heavy, but with all that said, I am very happy with buying it. I bought it through EBAY for $30.00, and it did ship very quickly from China. I wanted a heavy duty case to protect my $700.00 investment and I found it. I am a law enforcement officer and a gym rat, so this case will go through hell and back. The issues I mentioned do not bother me, but may bother some, so I hope I answered all questions.
Respectfully,
Rick Davila :fingers-crossed:
Be nice to see some pictures or a video of the new slim waist version please, nothing to be found as of yet anywhere online, aside from the official website.....
anyone who wants a yellow one, I'll sell ya mine for what I paid for it ($30). I'll pay the postage.
it is a tank and will protect like no other, but can't stand how heavy it makes it and the gps reception and cell signal is unacceptable.
I ended up buying a Kraken case for the days I need real protection and on the normal days I run the Aegis.

Verus Iron Shield case

Does anyone have this case for their G3? If so how do you like it? This is the case I am talking about. I want to get it but hesitant because I want something thin and I like the aluminum frame. If someone does have it and does not want it LMK and ill buy it or trade for a brand new otterbox defender case. :good:
I'm curious about this case as well seems this company mimicks spigen (Thor=slim armor, iron shield =neo hybrid) but their cases appear to be high quality since spigen doesn't make a neo hybrid for the g3 I'm really debating on getting this case

Verus
I had the Spigen Slim Armor case Black. It was a nice fit and very low profile. It also had an extra hold on the plastic so Im not sure if it is truly for G3. I sent it back and got the Verus. This case is very similar to the Spigen and has a perfect fit. It is slim and has a thin metal frame around it. Making it look very nice. I would say these are the best two cases out there and I would say the Verus is number one. The metal frame makes it standout.
I would send a few pic. here.
I've got the Versus satin case. I had to run some sandpaper along the cutout edges to knock down the sharp edges (top) and bottom, but nice case and not slippery like the one I picked up at Verizon.
It takes a bit to remove it tho so not for the person who likes to swap batteries.

The hole is for the Korean variant of the G3. Spigen made the decision to make all of their cases "universal", so they all have the hole. That why I went with Verus and got the Thor. The Thor is nice, but it also adds significant bulk and weight. I've ordered another case to try out.
I have spigen slim armour with no hole. You need to buy the us version of the case
When I was talking to the VZ rep that was helping us when we were getting the LG G3, he showed me his Spigen case that is similar to the Iron Shield. He loved it but the "metal" frame around the headphone and charging port kept cracking. For something that is metal, it breaks easily.

I bought this case at first I like it but I noticed with the case on my signal dropped down to 1 bar from 5 bars and my download speed went from 15 Mbps download speed to less than 1 Mbps it took me about a week to figure this out as to who would think that the case would block the signal but it does I spent countless hours on the phone with Verizon trying to figure out what was going on then just by chance when I was switching the dim cards back and fourth from my g2 to my g3 to see if it may be the phone I noticed that my signal was fine until I put the car back on so don't buy this case hopefully this will help anyone thinking of buying this case

Yeah I was going to get this before unread the same thing in a few reviews. Battery killer.
I have the exact same case that you link to, OP. It has already survived a fall with just a little ding on the metal band around the case. I haven't noticed any drop in signal or battery life while using this case.
I got this case yesterday and have to say that I don't like it at all. As others have said, the metal is sharp in places and the signal does drop. I went from getting 4G in my home to 3G after putting the case on. Once I took it off, it went back to 4G. If anyone wants to buy one for cheap, let me know.
I just received the verus iron shield the other day too and I love the look and feel.
On this thread, I believe, and elsewhere I read some people were seeing some signal degradation due to the metal frame.
This made me sensitive to this and I've been trying to see if that's the case. I was testing two nights ago in my basement and it appeared that I was getting one less bar of signal. I was pretty tired and bleary eyed so I need to try this again hopefully this weekend.
I was wondering if you or someone else has checked this out.
The case is beautiful and gives above average protection, which is more than enough for me, but if the signal is being affected that would be a dealbreaker.
On another note, I have the supcase frost/clear back case and I love that too. It's thin, light and looks terrific. It offers no better than average protection but that's ok with me too.
These 2 cases give me everything that I personally look for in phone cases.
Thanks in advance
Edit:
Been testing and the iron shield definitely degrades signal for me. I'll be returning it to amazon

I Think that is just for Docomo line. The volume button is different from our model.
Hey all I actually emailed them about 2 days ago asking about shipping to Australia, they are fine with international shipping. From what they sent all they require is a name, what you want and pay via PayPal. I'll be making my order soon, cost of shipping is $12USD to aus, if that sheds some light on shipping expense, by way of EMS.
Also I believe there is no difference with model apart from badging, a fellow who has it in the other thread has a international z2 and is located in Taiwan.
Wow those are gorgeous cases, indeed .

I completely agree with you ☺. But regardless, that is one beautiful case. I am looking for a bumper for this phone but I can't afford to pay Thai much for a case. Lol.
I really wish someone would make these aluminum bumpers in carbon fibre or something other than signal blocking metal. I have a couple for my ultra z and notice I lose about 1-1.5 bars of signal which means I have no signal many places. Also seems like I get about an hour less battery (probably because of the signal issue. They look really nice though!
Alright, so I need to share my experience regarding this bumper.
It initially came to my attention when searching for bumpers/cases etc, but at first I figured it was beyond what I was willing to pay for it. I did not want a full case or TPU skin etc, as I wanted as much of my phone 'naked' as possible, while getting some minor protection from everyday bumps, dragging across tables and various Jeep related bounces. A bumper was what I wanted.
I tried a cheap one from ebay. It came within 2-3 weeks, and was what you expected. Cheap, and I felt almost decorative. A drop would knock it off, as it uses a clasp s screws. It was also very thin, so it flexed while on the phone around the port openings. I couldn't complain, as I got what I paid for.
That brings me back to this bumper. I had already decided on the Amber Orange one long ago when I dreamt of it, so I simply sent out a semi-serious email via their site with some basic inquiries to pricing, shipping, stock, etc.
-AUG 30 - Initial contact via site form, I got a response within hours via email.
-AUG 31 - I was sold, and had them invoice me, and paid it shortly after receiving it via PayPal.
-SEP 1 - I received an email stating it was shipped, provided the tracking number, and they included photos of the package, the item, the shipping label, and the invoice.
-SEP 2 - I see it has left Japan and was enroute to Canada.
-SEP 3 - Just after midnight, it clears customs, goes through Toronto, Mississauga, then heads to my town which is about an hour/hour and a half away. I missed delivery today at 11am, as I was at work...
It was packaged in an airmail envelope, which contained a brown cardboard box, which contained a store quality box container, which contained a small material bag, which contained my unit.
I was amazed how fast this whole communication to unit in hand took. Each step of the way, communication was fast and efficient, and more than adequate.
The unit itself went on like a glove. There are no gaps, no flex, and no misalignment. Even the port cutouts have a bit of fingernail space to leverage into. It looks good, feels good, sturdy, and provides a bit of a lip for me to hold late at night while tired and wandering aimlessly. No noticeable signal loss, however I am in a great area to begin with, so this has never been an issue for me.
I am extremely pleased with this purchase and product.
Cheers all.

Cheers all.

Check out Devilcase USA. They have a case for the Z2. Looks like Amazon is the only retailer right now.

As soon as I get access to a camera other than the one currently inside the bumper case, will do and post.
Sorry, I should have noted that.

I have no experience with this other case, so I can not provide you with any honest input on it.
Any luck getting another camera? Interested in seeing some real world photos of it.

Hi all!
I have ordered this case a few weeks ago.
It went almost a same as been posted before. They were very friendly and really fast. It took about 30 minutes until they've dispatched the case.
I had a nillkin tempered glass at the front and the back. However if you gonna order this case you will see the way how they made this case the room at the back is smaller about 1-1 mm. So if you want a glass protector at the back you need to order one from them.
This is the only complication what I had, the case is perfect fit. I think it's totally worth the price.
I have attached a few pictures.
Thanks for the photos! Did you worry about scratching the phone at all? Their site says it's a possibility due to manufacturing constraints.
Scratch
Before this bumper, I have tried a cheap lovemei one, which indeed managed to scratch the phone.
I was very upset at first but what can you expect from a £4 case?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOVE-MEI-...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item3ce334f6ef
The Alumania is a bit pricey yes, but I just checked the phone, no new scratches so far.
I think the main difference between the two bumper is that the lovemei loose on the phone so it can move while the alumania is tight. It's important because the quality of the lovemei is cheap so it's constantly rubbing the phone that means scratching. Cheap metal bumpers are bad idea, if you care about the scratches.
Cheers
Great, thanks!
Might order me one on payday.
Does anybody know if this compatible with the D6503 model?

I have asked them the same question. But I think this is better than copy their answer here.
