Updated I8160L with I8160XXMG2 HELP torrent needed - Galaxy Ace II Android Development

Hey guys in my haste I received this phone today and made the biggest mistake since flashing phones. I didnt realise that the I8160L was going to have these issues if flashed with another firmware that wasn't of its region. I am now stuck with no IMEI and no cell network. I have been researching around and found that I may have to restore back to the original firmware. This phone originally came with GB and I updated to JB. Do I have to go back to GB or can I download the JB for I8160L?
Also I really need someones help I need this file as a torrent, my network is sooo bad words just can't describe this and the only way to get this file is with a TORRENT.
So please please if anyone has I8160LVJMJ1_I8160LZTAMJ1_ZTA in a torrent, I beg you to share it pleaseeeeeeeee.
P.s I am hearing reading but I could be wrong that some people have managed to just revert back to the original modem and got it working, but I have no idea where to get the modem and if the file is small.

You likely didn't repartition, so you need a 3-part firmware (do they even exist for the L model?)
Also, wrong section...

nice! good luck L users

Also
You can also Make it work your L Model with the following instructions:
1-Root your Non-signal 8160L.
2-extract this and copy all folder to your SD Card View attachment tee.rar
3-Install Root explorer.
4-Using Root Explorer Go To System/Lib and locate "Tee" Folder and delete it. It should be at the end of the lib folder.
5-Put Your extracted folder on System/Lib and set permissions to rwxr-xr-x.
6- Reboot
If Root explorer dont let you delete Tee Folder, remember to mount system files as R/W And not R/O
This method works on 8160L GA flashed with any 8160 Stock and Custom Firmware, Tested by Myself.
Glad i can help

Your downloads are either dodgy or your MD5 hash isn't correct, flash back to stock ICS (LG8), re-root and try again
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
the fies are okay checked it with md5...
i bought new 32gb mem could that be it? i am not sure ... though when i copied my files to sd card it were not there and i saw LOST.DIR was like over 1200 files...
I dont know whats wrong with it any way of fixing it?
thanks again n advance..
Did you format the card when you entered it?? Lost.dir is kinda like the android recycle bin, some of the files and folders you delete may end up in their so it shouldn't be that. The only thing I can think of bud is to start again. Flash back to stock ICS (LG8 if your device is unbranded) re-root and try again buddy

yes it was Ex-sdcard i coppied files directly to internal sd and it worked
but the phone is now askin for simunlock!
its not branded so y its asking for that? it was unlocked before all this....

Simunlock?? It wouldn't randomly ask for a simunlock if it weren't their before buddy

Yeah simlock, and no it wasn't there before i used others just before this thing and yeah it happened right after i installed custom UltimaROM_v4.1_Bahamut rom, and this thing came up.... now i dont know what to do i have few files right on my internal SD card which says voodoo_simunlock_nv_data.bin, voodoo_simunlock_nv_data.bin.md5
and i got voodoGalaxyS3Simunlock.apk but it isn't working its giving me error SIM LOCK: Read Error
and not sure why its showing that... and the unlock button is disabled
Now i need to know do i need to unlock my phone or is it something else?
second thing... i have no idea what to do right now ... this was unlocked from factory and is international version...
HELP lol...
Flash back to stock ICS buddy....DONT add a .pit file or check repartition, re-root using CF-ROOT 6.4, then flash a custom rom, see if that works, if your phones unlocked international the stock rom you're looking for is XXI9300LG8....download and flash report back buddy

Flashing firmware again

Hey guys,
I have installed a framework mod that I don't really like, and I would like to revert to the stock one. I know it's done by reflashing the stock ROM via flashtool, which is what I am planning to do. however, can I reflash it WITHOUT wiping all the user data?
Thanks
Edit: Ok, I am an idiot. I swear I read "Questions" instead of "Themes and Apps".Although this is kinda-sorta related to the forum, it is still a misplaced question. Can a moderator please move this to the appropiate forum? Thanks, and I will be more careful next time.

agree...... just replace the file from the stock and you dont have to flash the whole stock.......
and just by mentioning it in the OP to move it dosent work that way.......... you can report the thread to the MOD for move to Q&A......
Getting the files from stock ICS? Right, can anyone please tell me how do I do that?

Do you have any stock ftf file if yes than extract system.sin folder using 7zip and then extract the .sin file using flashtool...... and then download e2explore (google it).... and extract the system file which is in size of GB something...... and you will get the system folder..........
I guess this is a lengthy process for you.......
BEST you request someone to upload framwork-res.apk or just flash the ftf without wiping data.......

the help is much appreciated as I had been hacking at it for two days. it was not easy finding the firmware but I eventually found it and it is now backed up in a safe place with a proper name. Tablet is running like brand new. although I like my new Nexus 7 a lot more. learning that I just had to install the firmware and not a ROM made all of the difference. I was about to give up but I have never given up in the past and I'm not about to start. I was a little more patient but I was finally able to get it back up thanks to your advice.

Many times it happened to meet. Mostly it is due modem problem.
I have CWM Flammable zip folder and supply you 4 set of modem you can flash them tomorrow before noon I will port it.
If you have a back up. Before fore flashing you should write your IMEI by mobile uncle tool successfully.
If you do not have use IMEI writer or latest MTKDROID TOOL or some available means.
As my desk top/ lap top is held up immediately I could not port them
Please wait for a overnight duration.
May be your IMEI is provided below the battery.
I will also supply my IMEI back up latter use mobile uncle and change to your own

Please re-read my earlier reply and follow that with this reply and I am porting 2 files that were stored by me in my lap top. Nothing is mine it is down loaded from this forum only. Unfortunately I could not note down the date and number. Let the credit go o this forum.
!. The first file is CWM flashable zip file. You may be aware of all the procedure. This file has only the modem and the code inside the zip will put the modem file in the appropriate place if your original modem is corrupted or not present then immediately after the flash you boot up your phone,
I hope you will get back the signal.
If he entire firmware is corrupted then he signal will not show up and again it will be failure. Hence I am providing a set of modem and firmware file in the zip format.
What you have to do is you simply replace the etc folder in the first file named BASEBAND 1 from any one of the etc file you extract from the second zip named as modem.zip- And repeat the exercise.
Please note the basband1.zip is a cwm or twrb flashable file and modem.zip is not a flashable one and you manually extract and replace as directed above.
If you can download your original modem file then replace the current one with the original modem file and flash it.
I trust you will follow it correctly. Please reply about the result.
With best of my wishes.

Sorry I have not noticed.
Google from this forum and find your phones Rom either custom or stock
Process is the same.
Now I am going to non network available area I can think about it only on Tuesday
You Google find some appropriate Rom of yours from that you extract the modem from the firmware that will be available in system/etc/forward.
Just replace the modem and flash
You will succeed

Thanks for your time again! As i said before i already flashed the stock rom but it didnt worked! Cant understand why!
It happened to me also your modem gets corrupt once we flash other Rom or any custom Rom replacing the original one in the phone which I have used 6572, 6577 now 6589.
Do not loose hope from your available stock Rom extract your modem and flash it.
Then use mobleuncle tool if you have rooted you might have try to rewrite your IMEI afresh and check
If your IMEI is there again you flash modem.omg if it did not budge then whole firmware from etc.
Each Tim you check IMEI if it is written and again flash your modem.img as per the process I informed earlier
Try do not loose hope. I could succeed only after 8 attempts nothing is impossible

You re read my reply cooly.
You remove the modem.img from my zip file and replays with your modem.img file. You got it do not flash your rom again. You replace and simply flash the zip file that you have replaced the proivided modem. img with your modem .img file that you have now altered. Then use the mobile uncle tool and wirite your imei.either before flashing oe after flasing.
If you do not know how to change the modem.img. The open your rom /system the open etc folder in it you will find a firmware folder there. you send / port the firmware folder as a reply to my reply. I will change the modem.img of edit your firmware file and send it. I may go wron in down load your rom that is why I want your firmware file.
You cooly think and relaxingly do. Remove from your mind it is not possible. You kindly send your firmware file taken from your current rom which you have flashed. Again and and again flashing the Rom do not change any thing.
There is also further methods to get your imei working do not worry.

I would keep well away from pit files if i where you! You should only use pit files if you can't boot your phone and have tried everything else pit files have the potential to brick your device..That said have you tried using a root explorer to look at your system files?
Edit just seen you have a T mobile edition you need to post your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-t-mobile any advice or files flashed from this forum could brick your device.

Indeed the i9300T is the same as the i9300 in all hardware aspects.
The 'T' version has the baseband optimised for the 850 Mhz frequency range to get a better reception from Telecom.
Its an Australian/New Zealand Version
