Could you possibly include a separate zip of the removed bloat so we can add anything we might want back?

after flashing this there still are few annoying apps: Zinio, Trip Advisor, Cloud, Contacts. My Web, Ebay and Secure....
i have no idea where are they coming from, i can not identify them in /System/app folder to kill them
i mean you can uninstall them once booted, but i wold like to remove them from zip, so rom don't even boot with them
does anybody have an idea

You should empty the preloaded directory that may exist before flashing the new rom, those apps should come from it.

For CSC try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manniakk.cscselector

Man, I "succesfully" flashed via cmw your ROM (after a proper clean install), but now it goes in bootloop, just the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini GT-l8190 start page, then black, over and over.. no way to enter the cmw with the combo buttons (as it used to work); it only works the download mode, but I can't use Odin right now.

If so try again.
If not u need odin, and flash stock image.
I can't tell, I did not flash this with cwm, but with twrp, so maybe u can try with twrp?

[SCRIPT] Bloatware removal for Kitchen..

Sup folks, so I've been downloading different ROMs and making some adjustments to it for my liking.
In the process, I wrote a Linux/Mac shell script to remove the bloatware that I thought it's safe to remove. This is really helpful (I thought) when you are cooking different ROM and just don't want to do the bloatware removal manually.
Some background on how to use this:
1. Rename the removebloat.sh.txt to removebloat.sh, and do a chmod 755 if needed be.
2. Copy both files to your kitchen root folder.
3. Extract ROM of your choice via the kitchen.
4. Execute the removebloat.sh
Removebloat will look at the bloat.txt and remove everything from the WORKING_XXXX/system/app/ folder.
To *NOT* remove the app, simply remove the entry from bloat.txt.

You can use it but you have to mod it to look for them in the phone instead...might be some work but doable. Let me take a crack at it to see if it works.
Also, this isn't PERFECTLY compatible with the OTA, so if users are using a dump of the latest ota, the apk names are slightly different i believe. Takes two seconds of modifying, no big. But this script has potential, im definetely using it in BRP CF (new rom), i'll give credit

Main problems I had when trying to deodex XWKL1 with dsixda:
Voice Search, Maps, and Phonesky (the new name for the Market APK) would not deodex. This was solvable by:
Pulling VoiceSearch.apk from XXKI3
Pulling the updated Market APK from a working device and replacing Phonesky.apk with it
I didn't bother with Maps because it can be installed from the Market
The remaining issue I have:
On my device, when I press the Back button to exit from video playback, the video player hangs instead of exiting. It seems to be specific to my attempt at deodexing with dsixda.
Edit - Two major issues with your post:
1) You should state the base in the thread title
2) Your release is broken - you didn't bother to rectify the failure of the Market APK to deodex, and as a result, there is no Market in it.
However video playback is working, so it's time to figure out why that isn't working on my own deodexed device.
thx for the f/back, need to wait for market fix first b4 using this

Could anyone please provide me the CWM updater script found in this deodexed rom?
Thanks in advance.

Which bloatware can be removed safely?

Now after we've got the root, let's compile the list of apps/things/bloatware that can be removed safely.
There is a report already that Font Changer causes a bootloop.
So far I did not remove anything, just used Titanium to freeze System Update, Social News Feeder etc.
I removed the following from the system/app folder;
favorites.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
PersonalSpace.apk
Phone.apk
S-Launcher.apk (I use ADW.EX)
SoundRecorder.apk (Which even in the folder can't be used)
Talk.apk
TelephoneProvider.apk (Use battery even though not in use)
VoiceSearch.apk
That was after a quick gander last night, over the weekend I'll post a full tweak guide.
sorry for the request but, can anyone posta a zip with fonts folder?

[XU]Deleted Apps

Hi. So uh, last night I tried installing this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184413 (Shutdown Animation with Sound, for Xperia U obv.) but since I was disappointed with it because the resolution was for landscape, I tried removing it. What I did was delete the shutdown animation file. Along with it, after exploring the zip file, I found out that there were some apps along with it which I didn't know about since it wasn't in the included in the dev's post about it. I deleted these files:
Backup-Restore.apk
Backup-wizard.apk
beats.apk
GpsSatellitesNotification.apk
helpapp.apk
HtcBeatsNotify.apk
NetworkLocation.apk
OnOffTools.apk
PSCertifiedSettings.apk
SemcUnplugChargerReminder.apk
ShutdownAnimation.apk
SomcCameraAutoUpload.apk
Question now is that, was it okay that I deleted these things? I'm currently not getting any problem atm but just to make sure.
Thanks!

Hopefully you have made a Backup before Flashing/Installing Mods. If so just restore your backup via recovery.
The majority of the listed apks are required for ur system. By installing the Mod you have overwritten the original files.
Files you can remove are: beats.apk, HtcBeatsNotify.apk, PSCertifiedSettings.apk, SemcUnplugChargerReminder.apk
I also assume that some of the files also have installed/flashed Framework and Permission entrys!
Best thing to do is repair your phone using PC Companion.
Afterwards you will have to root your phone again. Kep in mind, after fresh install and root install CWM recovery and do a Backup. Thus you will always have the chance to get back to your original system if you don't like something.
If I helped you, pls hit the Thanks button.

This MOD adds floating posts Note 4 SM-N910F - Lollipop 5.1.1 Deodex Rom, which is what I use, I'm not saying to not work on any other model Note 4.
The zip is composed of multiple files and apks, for installation by modified recovery, so you have to be root.
Needless to say, prior to installation, backup, just in case.
Inside the zip and the CSC folder, this features.xml, it can be removed by double clicking on the zip and seeking CSC folder (completely delete this folder), provided that in system / csc / or features others.xml .xml your rom the following lines are already included:
Code:
<CscFeature_Common_EnableAirMessage>TRUE</CscFeature_Common_EnableAirMessage>
