[Q] HTC one battery life - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hi all, I have had my phone for a few months. I recently installed cm11 and have just started looking at my battery life. Currently I get 2.5 Hours of screen on time browsing the web with WiFi. Data is normally off, and brightness on full. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Android system at 44% battery use @ ICS 4.0.3 , who else?

Hi all,
Since I started using Lite'ning ROM v2.1 I noticed that my battery was draining very fast.
I went to my battery use and I saw that "Android system"was using 44% of my battery. Wake time is almost 6 hours...
Is this a known bug or is there a solution to this?
Battery drain start with the Better Battery Stats app and thread .

If the rom you are using is not yet a fully stable rom then it could have battery drain problems, although battery drain is usally how you use your phone. Look what apps are running when you notice your battery running down fast, as it could be one of those.
When im at work i actually only use whatsapp, and sometimes facebook while im on break. But my WiFi is off all the time then, only whatsapp and battery monitor were active. With 2.3.4 this wasn't a problem and my battery would be 60% when i came home...
Either google wakelocks and how to pin-point them, or wipe and install NO apps afterwards, run it for a day and if the same problem go to another rom till it's more stable .
What works fine in 2.3.4 has no garuntee's that it will work an experimental ICS build of any sort.
i have similar problem. my galaxy is on wanamlite 9.6, which base on LP7. after 5 hours of not intensive using, i have 65% battery left, android OS use 68% of this battery, most of time my wi-fi is off. when is on, drain battery very fast, over night even up to 20%. when i was on ginger bread it took around 6% - 8% with data and wi-fi on.

Do you have many widgets?
Especially Beautiful Widgets and Fancy Widget (moreover if you activate the meteo forecast) will constantly drain your batter in search for your position. Wifi uses less juice than 3G connections.
Happened to me back at GB 2.3.4. Battery went down to 60% in 3 hours (at the office I'm on G...so even worse cuz the battery compensates for the lack of coverage). After I removed Fancy Widgets from the screen everything went back to normal.
Don't have any widgets as far as I know, only the clock and twitter...
Today battery is know at 26% after 11 hours on battery. Process stil at 39% battery use.
I searched the web and found that there are a lot of users having this problem, especially with the Google Nexus.

[Q] High battery drain since flashing cm10.1 galaxy s3

Hey,
I have lately flashed CM10.1 nightly on my GT-I9300 and am experiencing high battery drain (twice-three times what I had before), and get over 1%/h over the night when all is turned off.
I have read a lot about fast battery drain reasons, but couldn't find an answer to mine.
I've downloaded better battery stats to check for any abnormal activity, but it seems normal to me (dump attached).
Note, I've installed the cm10.1 straight from my internal memory and I do not have an external SD card.
Also, from the dump file it seems that the phone was mostly in deep sleep mode and I see no reason then why it wouldn't just drain at 1-2% per 8h.
Thank you very much in advance!

I was able to improve battery life by turning off haptic feedback. Now I'm getting about 8-9 hours of moderate to slightly heavy use, which is much better than the four hours I was getting before.
Lower your brightness settings, screen is to blame the most.
Turn off gps, data, haptic.
Install Greenify, (requires root) to lower the battery usage of the phone by greenifying the apps that youre using.. However it works for me

Star x920 Battery Problems

Hi guys,
I just purchased a Star x920 and rooted + upgraded the ROM.
When I fisrt switched it on,the battery could only last half a day,I thought by upgrading the ROM it will solve the problem.
After ROM change, things are still the same.
My x920 lasts half a day with minimal usage.A 2 minute phone call shaves 2% off the battery.
After a full charge,if I reboot the phone it will leave me 70% or less.
Install battery saver apps, but it does not help at all.
Any advice and opinion??
Thanks

[Q] WhatsApp battery consumption

Hi
I recently got my HTC M8, brilliant phone and the battery is pretty good. However checking the power usage whatsapp seems to be consuming up to 25%. Is there any way that this could possibly be reduced? maybe by killing the app when not in use? any help would be appreciated.
