i installed cm11 build by rodger_rulez this rom is awesome but when i connect charger toch screen goes crazy and also launcher sometime some second not saw any apps plsss fix it anyone and sorry for my english
that's because the current from the charger interferes with the screen capacitive detection. Hold the phone in your hand (provided that you are wearing shoes) or use different charger/cable ?

I have my freinds cingular 8525 and hw keyboard just died after few weeks of use , didnt do any flashing , simply doesnt respond to any bottons , anyone had an issue like that ? when keyboard opens screen rotates ,but bottons dont respond , could it be hw issue ? i also noticed when cable pluged in light on keyboard comes on in about 15 sec , so seem like power to keyboard is still there.
Any input on that would be nice

Try a hard reset, if that does not work send it back under warranty.

would you think that I didn't try that ?
Guys please if someone has constractive advise than reply, cause if we could send it back we would ,my friend isn't Cingular castomer ,so advise to send it back isn't an option.

I am having a problem with my GEN 8 A43
I am runing Cyanogenmod bull latest VR since yesterday with GO lancher.
and when i wake up my device I don't see anything of the screen...it stays dark...
so the only thing I can do is tern off the device by long press on the power key, and turn it on again...
rarely it is working fine and the regular unlock screen show up...
plese help my to fix this.
(by the way' the stock lancher was ADW and i had the same problem with it too)
2. there is an option to make the Cyanogenmod bull to the main system ? so I won't need to turn it on from the recovery each time..

I'm hoping someone can help me solve my problem. The issue is that when I plug my M HL cable into my HDTV the image comes out sideways, flickers, and looks terrible with lots of snow. The interesting thing is that this didn't happen to me on a stock rom. But now I'm running CM 10 dgungdum style and the problem has occurred. A couple of details: it doesn't say HDMI at the top when I plug it in ( Though it used to When it worked before) Also it seems to be something to do with CM 10 itself because if I reboot the phone with the MHL cable plugged in it starts with the normal display and the CM logo is not sideways but once the operating system starts the lock screen appears and immediately flips sideways on my phone and also on my TV. So I think the ROM has some kind of setting that auto flips the display when the MHL is plugged in but the problem is that I can't find an option to reverse this default. Any help is greatly appreciated.

HDMI is out on cm10 ROMs. That's why you are getting those weird screen displays.
My X10 mini pro`s touch lags and stops when I slide my keyboard but the device still works cause power button and back ..etc still working but the touch doesn`t respond at all until I reboot the device and not let the keyboard open, I always use that keyboard as the screen is too small so if anyone knows how to fix that help me, please.

The ribbon that connects your screen to the rest of the phone may be broken. You may have to replace that.

I'm having a real strange problem with my phone. I hope somebody can help me. After some bad luck with my phone my touchkey (for the menu option) keeps registering a touch, even when it is not touched. This makes it quit impossible to use the phone in a normal way. To solve this problem I disconnected the cable, which is responsible for the two touchkeys and the menu button, from the motherboard. With an option in my ROM (JB Resurrection Remix) I created a navigation bar with the functions of the disconnected buttons, so I can use the phone.
Long story short: I'm using a phone with the bottom keys (touchkeys and meny key) disconnected from the motherboard. However this causes an error in the phone which creates a bootloop. This happens with all the ROMs I install except for the rom: RR JB V3.1.3 AOKP 4.2.1 (SGS2) I'm currently using. This is really annoying since I want to change my ROM real desperately. Whenever I reconnect the cable in the motherboard, the phone stops rebooting.
Does anyone know how to prevent my phone from getting in a bootloop while having the bottom key cable disconnected from the motherboard?
