[Q] No power to Wiko Darkmoon (MT6582) after Recovery Flash attempt - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
In an attempt to load the custom ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658343 I kinda broke the phone.
Part of the steps is to flash the custom Recovery screen.
In the steps you use the Scatter file that's provided and load that up with the SP FlashTool.
Problem though is that I started to get the error SP FLASH TOOL ERROR : (8038).
I then read that by using MTK Droid Root & Tools, I could create a new Scatter file that would fix the error...
Created the new scatter file and then when I loaded it, I got the Big Green Circle saying everything was cool.
Rebooted the phone and it wouldn't come back on.
Crap.
Tried loading into the Recovery screen using the volume and power button, but nothing shows up on the screen.
Tried plugging it into my Win7 and WinXP computers but neither recognize the device and nothing shows up on the screen to say that it's charging.
Is this phone completely gone or is there something that can be done?

Old thread but somehow connected brand new experience to be documented:
What I just experienced was, after a cancelled attempt of flashing recovery, the phone was off and didn't go back on. I tried fiddling with the buttons and assumed it was bricked. Fortunately I didn't give up too soon. It was only after pressing the on button for a very extended time (>30secs?) that it came back to life. It didn't boot further than Wiko logo, but the key reactions were back to normal concerning reboot, booting recovery and cold start.

BROM ERROR on sp flash tools, HELP!

i have a tecno f8 device, it has MT6589 processor. The phone hanged one time and i forced restart it holding down the power button for about 10secs, unfortunately when the phone restarts, it kept coming on and off, and here is where i think i bricked the phone, the phone's battery was at 10%..i pulled the battery and loaded the cmw recovery plugged in the charger, and i tried reflashing my custom rom (miui v5).. the rom installed completely.. then i went to 'reboot now' from the cmw menu options, and then my phone refused to come on, its just dead, led light wont even come on if i plug the charger, and i cant boot into recovery.
i have been to a number of android developmental blogs trying to solve this issue, i even download the stock firmware and i tried flashing with sp flash tools, but i keep getting various brom errors, the 3149, 5069 no space errors.
can anyone pls help me get my phone back on?

Lenovo TAB S8-50F won't boot, help!

I'm not a n00b, I've rooted every Android device I've ever had, and I have my OnePlus Two running the latest CM14.1 nightlies. But I can not figure out what to do for this poor tablet.
I had downloaded and installed an OTA from Lenovo, but it must have been corrupt because the tablet got stuck in a boot loop. I can boot into recovery, so I tried formatting it and clearing all the caches, then it goes to a screen with a loading bar, which fills completely and just sits there. I've left the thing on all night. Nothing.
Sending it to Lenovo is a no-go because I voided the warranty when I rooted it.
I've also tried reinstalling the stock firmware, but the Intel phone flash tool either get's blocked by Windows 10 (with no way to whitelist it) or fails to flash properly.

What I've tried:
Just plain booting it - screen turns on and doesn't do anything, just black
Rebooting through recovery (power + vol_up) - plays boot animation, goes to a screen with a loading bar like it does after an update, but once the bar fills, a white line appears at the top of the screen and nothing happens
Downloading the official KitKat firmware (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lenovo-tab-s8-50f-stock-firmware-rom-t2989791), unarchiving the rar file and rearchiving it into a .zip, putting it on a MicroSD card, putting the card in the tablet, flashing through recovery - can't find the .zip, says SD card is blank
Clearing caches and wiping data - same as when rebooting through recovery
Using the Intel phone flash tool through bootloader (power + vol_down) - tool can't find device
Using the same tool through fastboot (power + vol_up + vol_down) - gets to the sleep 4000 ms step, reboots the device, then the device goes to the same loading screen and the flash tool can't contact it. I think it's trying to boot into the OS to finish the flash, but that's the problem to begin with
I've tried loading the temporary CWM session but that fails
I can't for the life of me figure out what the @bailka011 Unlock Tool is supposed to do or how to use it, plus the download link isn't working.
Can someone please guide my through this? I'm so confused

what did it says the update would do? android 6.0? latest update for this tablet was released 7 months ago... the unlock tool u mentioned unlocks the bootloader, and try to find a win7 pc to do the flashing. some users on a different forum stated that windows 10 will cause problems during flashing
good luck

This update was seven months ago. It did not claim to bring 6.0, just minor fixes.
Thank you for clearing that up, now I just have to figure out how to download and use it xD.
Also I have figured out how to enable the hidden administrator account in Win10 and use that to get around the security warning, still tries to boot partway through flashing. Unless there's some other part of Win10 that's disagreeing with it.

No boot on P9000

Hi All,
I have a P9000 it was running a custom ROM with TWRP. I decided to factory reset from with in Android to start fresh but it then went in to a reboot loop, always booting into TWRP recovery. After this I tried reinstalling the ROM, which didn't work. So then i decided to upgrade TWRP which must have failed...
Now i have just a continually rebooting phone with the Elephone logo.
While plugged into my computer upon reboot i get the VCOM device popup for a few seconds, however the USB device is malfunctioning, "The USB device returned an invalid serial number string descriptor." So i am unable to get SP Tools to connect to drop a stock image on it.
Holding power up or down and the power button just cause it to reboot faster.
I'm assuming its done for, but if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thanks
no boot on p9000
Worth a try:
power off, start sp tools flash (stock rom 6), connect to computer and then hold power off and volume up until you get a response from sp (can take a couple of reboots)-> realease buttons and flash.
Worth a try. Might take 2 or 3 trys. I managed to revive my p9000 in this way. I didn't have your vcom problem - not my thing but installing drivers again might help?
sp flash tools: v5.1152 ; stock 6.0: 20160810.
Good luck.

[Help] Blackview BV5800 PRO SP Flash Tool "STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH"

Hello! I posted on the official forum for Blackview but so far I haven't gotten a response. TL;DR, my phone, a Blackview BV5800 PRO, could not boot up (stuck on logo) and using recovery mode doesn't work. I get mounting issues when I try to factory reset, wiping the partition cache, and even mounting it (an option).
So my last resort was to attempt to re-flash the ROM using the provided ROM file by the OEM, which they did have on their forum. The first time around when I downloaded the ROM plus the SP Flash Tool, followed the instructions and all, it appears to be flashing just fine. As soon as it finished with the checkmark on screen, the phone is stuck in a black screen and Windows keeps detecting the device over and over, but nothing happens on the phone. From my research online, this is a feature of all MediaTek devices in an attempt to restore a factory ROM.
Now, when I try to flash again with the SP Flash Tool with the same ROM, I am getting a "STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH" error. Or sometimes i get the "STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL error. At this point, I tried every possible option within the tool itself as well as trying all combinations on the phone Power + Vol down/up/both then plugging it to my PC, nothing. It keeps showing the same error.
Frustrated with this, did I screw up something? Did the preloader corrupt during the first run? I don't know what to do at this point.

Stuck in bootloop Neffos X1. No recovery mode.

Hello community,
I haven't posted here before, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have a problem with my Neffos X1 and after browsing the internet for hours nothing helped so far, so I hope some of you can help me out.
My phone is stuck in a bootloop since yesterday evening. I haven't done any updates or new installations recently, so it just happened out of the blue. It loads till the Neffos logo and then restarts over and over again.
Since I can't take the battery out, I tried letting it run out of energy and then restart, but as soon as I connect it to a power source the bootloop will start again.
I read a lot about getting it in recovery mode or to try and flash it, but no matter what combination of buttons I try, nothing is happening. The phone basically doesn't react to anything and just keeps restarting. The only thing I noticed is, that when pushing both volume keys the screen will just stay black (no restarting), but after letting go the bootloop will start again.
I tried flashing it via SP Flash Tools, but the phone also doesn't react to it.
Lots of troubleshooting guides also require, that I have rooted my phone in the past, unfortunatly I haven't. I also read about unlocking the bootloader, but since my phone isn't reacting to any buttons and my laptop also doesn't seem to recognize my phone (probably because it doesn't boot proberly), that doesn't seem like a solution either.
To summarize: I'm stuck in a bootloop with no recovery mode, no rooting, no unlocking bootloader, probably can only use my laptop to do anything remotely.
So, is there anything you can think of, that might help me get out of the bootloop? Or ideas of what I may did wrong when trying the other solutions?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Same problem
I have the same problem, I have tried all kinds of soft reset and nothing is working I also opened the phone to check if anything was not connected properly, but everything seems fine except for that infinite loop. Please help!

Try this
Download phone's Stock Firmware onto your personal computer.
Install the USB MTK Drivers - NOT ANY OTHERS (skip if you have them already installed).
Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the Stock Rom you just downloaded.
Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
Connect your phone via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your phone at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
Unplug phone and boot it up.
If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Voila, you are all good.
