Is there any way to port sony Stock Camera to Asop roms ......
i really like the stock sony Camera app othr than tat ther is nothing keeping me in using stock sony ROM
i am currently using Xperia Acro S with Stock JB 4.1.2
and would really like such a port

I am currently using Slimbean version 3.1 on Xperia U. It is a beautiful rom but does not allow me to mod Cybershot Camera Mod since it was built for ICS. Could somebody provide a replacement or Sony Stock Camera app or suggest a better default camera app.

On the custom rom i have installed on my friend's xperia sola (ultimate rom v11 and munjeni kernel), I'm able to install instagram. However when I start the application it says that the camera is not supported.
Is this a kernel or rom issue? Or maybe there's another workaround knowing that instagram worked fine on stock ICS but without video support

I tried many roms , and in my opinion the lightest and most smooth rom is (SlimCM)
but you have to flash ICS Gapps for it if you need it, and if you want install Greenify to control apps working at background like whatsapp and Facebook
I think the smoothest ROM for xperia u is CM 10.2, but it has some small bugs so if she want a bugless ROM she can use slimCM even if it isn't as smooth as CM 10.2

i dont think ics needs ram mangement.....
all above are stock or stock based roms.....
if you want your android version above 4.1.2
then CM ROM'S(with some bugs..) are there....
CyanogenMod for sure!
But if it's only a user-friendly behavior, go for SlimCM or just look in the forum and choose the best for your needs, also be careful and read the thread before flashing.

I have an oppo mobile with mt6750 nd 3.18.22 kernal. Stock camera apk has great features.. i have ported my own custom rom. But stock camera apk is not working when i put it into my custom rom.. It always closes with unfortunately camera stoped.. While other camera apks are working fine..
