Help me guys..Related to xposed framework - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys I'm new to this xposed installer and framework.. Whenever i try to open some apps they are been strucked and shows some error.

xposed on LP is Alpha, and there're issues with modules and framework, please take the following as kind advice :
if you were unable to find and read any of the tens of threads about installing xposed, you're probably better off without it, as you can expect problems/bootloops/issues ...etc, so unless you're prepared to go through all this, I suggest not installing xposed, but instead try a pre-made rom like Existence or Envi.
Just my 2 cents

Confused.! Many apps require it..

Now you flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip in your recovery (i assume your phone is rooted and has a working recovery?) and xposed will be working.
But please read ticktock666 advice carefully, if you can't figure out how to install xposed yourself how are you going to fix your device if it bootloops?
You should be comfortable with flashing .ftf , rooting it and installing recovery before your start messing with xposed, search and read.

Or he could just remove the xposed file in the framework directory, but exactly as you say, a knowledge is needed for such a thing

[Q] Framework, bootloop, how to fix

Hello,
I have a rooted Iocean G7.
I wanted to install the framework module with the Xposed installer app. This was no success, I got a bootloop. After this I contacted Iocean, and I have flashed my phone with the computer. It works fine now, as it should.
Now my question is, how can I install the framework module without getting a bootloop or other problems?
Thank you,
Robert
Not compatible with your device maybe.

That could be possible, I am going to ask to rovo98, if he can make framework compactible with my phone.
I hope he wants to do
On Tweakers they think that the Rom is not compactible, but I do not think so... You?

You guys know that Xposed puts a framework disabler zip on your internal storage? All you have to do is boot into a custom recovery and install it.

What root method did you do that didn't require USB Debugging to be enabled?? But yea, I dunno about that. You're going to have to find out though. You'll need the SP Flash Tool to work, whether it's to install the custom recovery, or to install the entire stock firmware.

There is a 'Super User' setting in Settings which I enabled.
I tried installing PdaNet but that does require USB debugging to complete the installation.
Isn't there a standard recovery mode on these phones that I can use (combination key press) to install a rom copied onto the SD card?

That's pretty handy. But no, the stock recovery does not support that. You might be able to get out of it just from doing a factory reset in the stock recovery, but it's hard to say since Xposed makes changes to /system as well and the factory data reset does not affect the /system partition, just /data

[Q] general rom question

i was just wondering that is it possible to run a rom made for other device like i love a rom but that is made for other device but i want t use it in my device is it possible ?
No..
This is not usually possible unless there is a port of that ROM for your device. In fact if you try flashing a ROM that is not made for your device it could brick your phone.

Alright. Good luck. Hopefully it doesn't brick but you'll find out soon enough.
Yeah, worst case scenario is your device will be damaged by putting a different devices ROM on it, since the ROM has to be able to handle the hardware specific to the device it's running on. For example, you could install a ROM for the wrong phone that has a default CPU frequency that exceeds the limit of what your phone can handle. This could either cause the phone to freeze or your CPU to fry.

that would be dangerous but there isnt any good roms available for my phone (grand quattro or win)
don't do it unless you have recovery installed
well don't try to install ROM from any other phone. it will not boot up. the main problem is with the divers of the other phone vary from your phone. yes it is true that it could brick your phone and you can even hard brick it under very rare conditions. kernel will not work from other rom. then there will be no turning back. if you still want to try yourself. then you try to port ROM yourself. There are ample of guides are available for that on XDA. but as you mentioned that you don;t have any ROM available for your phone on XDA i won't suggest you to do that. You can do lot of things with your ROM (but if you have recovery installed). LIke if your phone is 4.0 + Rom then you can play with "xposed". Good Luck.:good:

Hello,
can you please post a list of what you've removed?
Nice Rom so far, smooth and a lot of bloatware removed.

I have noticed it takes a few seconds to get root access from boot. I have noticed that the problem goes away when flashing a different kernel. also there is no need to re flash su binary if you flash a different kernel. strange it may be something to do with the kernel being stock. does anyone have this issue on locked bootloaders with stock rom?

as far as I can remember I removed
Stock Google Bloat
Hangouts
Books
Magazines
Chrome(replace with Sonys Browser from previous firmware)
ect
Sony Stuff
I think the only thing that was deleted was
Backup Restore
Update Checker
and Movie Maker
Stuff that was in /system/etc/product/applications
like Antivirus and Diagnostics
So nothing Important
the rest of the stuff you have the option to restore in the aroma installer

b150 stock pokemon

before u do any of the steps format data factory restore.
first download this file https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862715727 once your done extract with winrar 7zip what ever u use.
then put backup in ur twrp folder on ur sdcard in the backup folder with the rest of your backups
then goto restore find the backup select it
swipe to restore wait for it to finish
you might have a boot loop dont worry
if all went well then u should be on b150 stock with pokemon able to be played.
don install super user or it wont be stock and pokemon wont work.
and hit the thanks button if this helped you and if u feel generous hit the donate button
bump
Thanks for this ROM.
For those wondering, pogo is still able to detect root if you flash SuperSU and then try to hide with rootswitch. This method worked fine for the factory stock b130 but does not work with the ROM in this thread. Good luck.

This ROM works perfectly fine with pogo if u don't flash SuperSU as you stated. Rootswitch is an app that attempts to hide root from pogo. I tested with your room here by flashing supersu and using rootswitch. Rootswitch was unable to hide root for this ROM but it worked for b130 factory stock.
It might have been user error on my part but I will try with magisk later to see if that works. I'd like to get a bebloated b150 ROM with Xposed like I did with b130 and still be able to run pogo. Just not quite there yet.

Magisk wouldn't work for me to play pogo I want to try your way.
What verison are you on? Did you use magisk for systemless Xposed? Do you have a link for suhide and Root switch?
everything should work being this is a pure stock no root. but if u want root to work u gotta ask in the right thread. for those who want unrooted version im gonna remove bloatware and remake the stock to be clean stock sorta like the barenaked rom but im gonna go through all the files remove anything that wont break the os. as well might try replacing stock phone app and launcher and some other stuff atm though my focus is on custom roms i posted this for those who want it

Here you go >> B150.Stripped.Stock.Rom
Also here's the Full B150 Stock unrooted bootable Rom >> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634759585
simple flash it like any Rom for this phone and you'll have a Full Stock B150 unrooted device
Note: using this rom doesn't mean you can skip flashing the B150 firmware ... you need to already be on B150 firmware or you'll have no Wifi
If you want to use pokemon go with xposed, only do so at your own risk. It slows down the phone slightly, as noted in the suhide thread.
With the usual systemless root,
Flash Systemless Xposed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3897543&d=1475913773 (Use ONLY this version)
Flash suhide 0.55: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3899940&d=1476133126
Install xposed material design apk: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=21776&task=get
Install rootswitch apk: https://www.asus.com/zentalk/tw/for...ZGY3MTc3fDE0Nzc0MjUyOTR8MHwxNzM1NDI=&mobile=2
Install all the modules you want and get them configured/setup/enabled. open root switch and check toggle usb debugging and stop all su daemon. then toggle root off. xposed modules will still work and pokemon go can be used. I may need to edit this because I am typing it quickly and from memory.
if you want just root to work with pokemon go, I succesfully used magisk v12 with magisk hide. Restore stock boot img and flash magisk zip. Then setup the magisk hide in magisk manager. Don't install any xposed stuff and pokemon go will function. This is assuming you are starting with a fresh rom... otherwise you will need to remove root and all that jazz.
question:
If I pulled my Build.prop and edited it to change a few things (Like removing softkeys) and pushed it back will that stop Pokemon Go from working? Or does Pokemon Go only look to see if the phone has been rooted.

Help w/ Xposed for Magisk

Looking to install Xposed for Magisk on my G973F/Exynos (I am successfully rooted on stock Android 10), so I can run Xprivacy Lua, but worried about the warning related to bootloop.
On the Magisk site, there are contradictory statements:
By the way, EDXposed and TaiChi working flawlessly in the android 10 devices and also some of the modules only which has upgraded to SDK 29 working without conflicts.

and
Note: With the above method, there are high chances of getting boot loop.

Can someone advise which method to use and how to recover from the bootloop if it happens?

If bootloop happens: boot to TWRP (you WILL need that) and disable EdXposed/Taichi. To do that, go to terminal and type 'cd /data/adb/modules', followed by e.g. 'touch EdXposed/disable' (beware: you need to check the correct path).
I would always try EdXposed first, because it is open source.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot, I do have TWRP installed. What is the keypress combo to get me out of bootloop, or is it the same as booting to TWRP?

Get out of bootloop by pressing power & vol- for seven seconds, immediately followed by TWRP combo.

Looks like I'm good to go. Does this look right to you? Just wondering about the three instances of Riru listed. What worries me is that I have two 'optimize' lightning bolts at the top of the manager app. Just checking to be sure.
Also, this is probably an obvious answer, but I presume that Xposed modules like Xprivacy should be installed via the EdXposed Manager, yes? I've learned to not take anything for granted with mods like this.
Thanks!

Looks excellent. I think you can delete the Edxposed entry with no further text.
Those two 'Optimize' buttons.. yea, dunno. I think they're explained in the EdXposed thread, can't remember. But they're normal.
Installing of modules works either way: via Manager, download-and-install, or installation via Playstore/F-Droid/you-name-it.
Hi guys.Id like to install EdXposed on my S10 +Exynos(rooted by Magisk).I currently use last stock fw patch december.
