Lollipop for the Galaxy alpha SM-G850M is finally here . You can find a Brazilian firmware here:

I just installed it in my Mexican Galaxy alpha (telcel) and it's working great (further testing needed).

When you open the firmware link in Sammobile there is an installation guide below the firmware info.

Contact info not showing when receiving a call
Hi all, I just updated my Galaxy Alpha using the Brazilian firmware downloaded from Sammobile but I got this problem that contact info is not displayed when receiving a call, I tried a factory reset but I still got the same behavior, anyone else is experiencing this error? Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm also the same problems. And Samsung does not know what to do, ask to take the assistance, and the problem is the version of Android.
I'm also having the contact info problem, and the battery life is kind of a little bit worse.
Other than that it works very well. It does have English and Spanish languages among others

This problem was solved when I checked for system updates, there was an small update and that was it

You should check for system updates, that solved my problem, battery life is always a problem with this device

I'm currently with a XXKI3 base version rom but I had some issues with the XXKI3 modem so I downgraded to XXKH3 and it's working like a charm now (vodafone pt too)

It works fine on my Skyrocket running CM9. It's not supposed to read back, is it?
EDIT: Yes it does, you have to set it up to use Samsung powered by Vlingo.
EDIT 2: If you ask it what is the best phone, it crashes.

It works on any xperia mini pro (you don't need to have Vodafone SIM).
Originally my phone is "officially Russian", unbranded, bootloader unlocked via testpoint. Phone after flashing works fine: calls, messages, mobile data, wifi, google apps (my carrier is not associated wih Vodafone). Some crap from Vodafone is included, but it's not a problem to get rid of it

Known bugs
Phone doesn't store network mode. After reboot it's always WCDMA/GSM
LED notification doesn't work for SMS (I don't have troubles with missed calls)
P.S. Phone says "Booloader unlock allowed: Yes". No sim-lock either.
P.P.S. You can try updating via SUS by yourself. Just change CDA in your /system/build.prop to 1250-0927 (don't forget to backup original file and all your data), reboot device twice, clear Program File\Sony Update Service\db\bolb_fs folder and check for updates.

it's hard to say, because I had exMIUI installed before, so I can't compare it to .431.
Generally it works smooth, smart dial is much faster, led works (at least for incoming calls), gray background is still here. Probably, the problem with the screen flickering in low light is gone.
Feel free to ask if you have some more precised questions about the ROM.

this is gerat.. i installed it with mesa 1.8 kernel and removed unnecessary apps.. and ultimate led fix works on this build too.. thanx dude..

With this compilation number, on the MK16 the HD recording was fixed, again up to 29 frames per second but sound is still mono

I'm not sure if it works on i9200. I based it off the aosp rom for galaxy mega which says i9205 on it. You may want to make a backup of your phone and then try and flash if you are going to attempt it

Yeah, i tried it and my phone went to bootloop. Hopefully i was able to enter TWRP.

I have been using it since yesterday works but google services are FCs all the time. No compatible gapps yet...
As stated on MIUI forum it's for MIUI testers, volunteers. They gives access to this build only for approved ppl. Simple rule - broken. Firstly you spam about some flashable firmwares in CM thread, now this. It seems you can't follow rules at all. Never seen sth like this on xda.

Its mostly same . you can't even tell a difference . also it feels little bit smoother than android 6 . and there are bugs like force close apps . but its common in alpha build .

Only Google Pixels and Custum ROMs have 7.1.
And I don't know why this thread is still opened.
