I am new to xda so I am not sure if I am on the right section
Anyway those who can help me please do.......
I connect my phone to a pc speaker via the 3.5mm Jack.
I use google now to ask questions etc.
I also have a Bluetooth headset which I want to use as a microphone ONLY.
And I want the phone to give the audio feedback via the speakers(the phone detects it as a wired headset)
But I am unable to do so
I have a micromax canvas hd plus a190 which is rooted, has xposed, and runs on android kitkat 4.4.2
Please help me

This is a difficult question, there should be some experts working on creating a
application on the rooted device for the particular purpose to route the audio from Microphone only.
And maybe you need specific app for the micromax canvas hd plus a190.
Please let me know if there are any such apps

I bought Byte Corseca Headsets i.e. DELL's bluetooth headsets last week.
It worked perfectly well with A116, with older JB of course.
I updated JB4.2.1 yest from MMX service center in Dadar Mumbai.
Today when I try and pair A116 with Byte, it doesnt even show up in available devices in bluetooth search :crying:
Is there some issue with Bluetooth pairing in JB4.2.1?
anyone aware of any such issues post upgrade?
P.S. I paired my Laptop with A116 & it worked fine... only issue is with headset.

I have updated Micromax a116 with 4.2.1 and connected my nokia bluetooth headset today wthout any problem. Please explain how did you try to connect it so that I can help you.

Switched the Byte headset ON & then I went to A116 Settings -> Bluetooth > Turned it ON
then tried to 'Search for devices'. Byte headphones not showing up in list of devices.
But, at the same time was able to see my Laptop & got it paired up as well.
I tried to use the only visible to paired devices & visible to all nearby bluetooth devices option too. Doesnt work
Is there any other way?
I also tried this way but not succeeded. Switch on BT headset last i.e. after selecting search.
Headset paired successfully
Was my mistake. Way to config was a bit diff
Read instructions Manuel for headphones today
Works fine as usual again :angel:

I have an old android phone (Samsung Galaxy Grand) lying around. it is rooted and currently running CM12.1. I want to use it as an audio receiver over bluetooth for my speakers. I want to play the music from my daily runner (OnePlus One), streaming to the speakers via bluetooth. If any app which can do this, please let me know. Otherwise, if someone can point some Android Bluetooth API which can do this, I can create an app.

Here, I've found this after a lot of ****ing research. i don't know what it means, but please, if you can, make it. I need such an app too. Been waiting for such a feature for a really long time.

Hi All,
I've an annoyng problem with my BT Car Stereo.
Everytime i turn on bluetooth and my phone connects with the device, a popup ask me " *DeviceName* would like to access your contacts and call history. Give access to *DeviceName*?"
How can I do to rememeber this decision? Is very annoyng.
I've tried to check this option in Bluetooth Settings -> *DeviceName*. But i'have not resolved anything.
I'm on Android 6.0.1 (Cyanogen Rom 13.0) and OnePlus One.
Someone can help me?

hey friends.
My wife is using the tablet (5.1) to learn how to play the piano using an app.
everything is going well other than the fact the tablet mic doesn't seem to pick up some notes correctly, and when she practices it either says she didn't hit the right note or didn't hit any at all.
i wanted to know if i can somehow connect an external mic (simply connecting one didn't work) that will be more... receptive?
on the bonus side, id prefer if i can hook up a mic AND a headphones or use an app to have the speakers work while the mic is plugged in (because the piano apps gives directions and uses a metronome)
please assist?

I suppose connecting only external mic is not possible, but you can try to connect wired headset or bluetooth ones should work for you.

I am using vivo v9 youth mobile. I have connected real me wireless headset(bluetooth) to it.I am not able to get caller name in headset when some one is calling me.Could any one please help me how to achieve it.
