I dont know, maybe people do not care about the stagefright.
if people think stagefright is a serious threat, it is safer to do the Samsung update.
The important information is that, Samsung has the patch for this issue on COJ3. No matter who made a copy from there.

I appreciate your thanks, but I'm really so, I like to help.
The only thing I do not understand, is why the people will void the warranty of your phone using this patch, when they can use an official firmware without any disadvantage and completely protected

I guess users from a high-customized roms like noname rom would highly appreciate to have this patch instead of updating their firmware and stay on a plain stock rom and I don't think so this sort of users would be interested much on following XDA as it is meant to be development and messing around with android OS. Generally if somebody doesn't need anything here I think it would be the best to just ignore it than hurting the creator of a thread who is trying to help others.

No offense, but in my opinion this is a bit too little of a improvement to be released as a separate ROM. You would be better off making some kind of addon pack.
And credit the awesome devs who actually ported CM for our devices. I don't suppose you did that by yourself.

So..it says it's build .242..
Does that mean we can't install it on .254?
Or am I confused here?
Is it compatible with all versions of the SP? (C5303/2/6)

Build 242 refers to FXP 242 CM 10.1 for SP. Its got nothing to do with Sony's Stock .254 build. You can definitely install FXP242 or this ROM on stock .254 and any version of SP. Hope that helps

yeah i know it. but he's just don't know what his doing. we are getting his back to the right way.
he said this is based on FXP 242, have his tried it yet? FXP 242 have a broken kernel and it will not booting.
cm only booting on ubberlaggydarwin and eagleeyetom build which posted on cm10.1 discussion in general sections. and no credits for them?
and i just don't get the point here.
why we needed a rom with cm11 or aosp 4.4 from nexus devices look a like?
because we already have CM 11 from ubberlaggy and FXP then AOSP 4.4 from adfad?
i really appreciated if this rom have something new features
like working on locked boatloader devices.
@op sorry no offense, i really like your spirit, but i just hope you know what you're doing for your working.

Overview
This is MIUIv5 for Moto X... noticed you folks did not have it
I will not provide OTA update but will provide an update to this every 3-4 weeks which will be freshly built to reflect progress in this devices configuration as your source builders make them available.
IE: I will not update only MIUI while keeping the same base, I will update device related things so there is an actual improvement with the versionup of MIUI; hence no OTA.
Warning
I've done this a lot and by now I should get this close to right on the first whack; I'm not sure what bugs may exist however so please leave feedback.
Kernel-level changes have been made, you can NOT use this on a locked bootloader device.
Working:
- Probably everything except
Not working

Thanks! Everything should be functional beside Bluetooth Share which I've intentionally disabled for the time being in my Alpha runs for right now; all of my firmware shares the same codebase across devices meaning my MIUI for this device has the same ADB as another even across vendors.
More or less I feel being able to fork one code-base to multiple devices has huge advantages because feedback is progress and reaching 'Stable' on the general codebase is the same as having a stable firmware for whatever I can build for, that being said I prefer to not release garbage so even as an Alpha everything beside Bluetooth should function, there will be no nasty surprises like data or wifi not working..
ETA 2 minutes

It's based on CM11 but I'd like to make a distinction: I don't use the same codebase and only update MIUI, I also rebuild from source with the newest configs if available alongside MIUI.
A few of my last builds in the 4.2 era had Xiaomi's software camera, with some cooperation from people I could probably bring it to this device so more or less I intend to reach 'Stable' on this device, something with full functionality but feedback is progress~
Edit: I prefer unified builds, it's more productive than a PatchROM on stock

Hmmm... sorry if i'm skeptical but i'm pretty sure this is just a themed stock rom with MIUI theme on it, need proof? simple, no one has gotten bumped yet, so the kernel couldn't possibly boot unless it was LG Stock which means the OS is stock with some theme.
I may be wrong and if I am sorry, but I doubt at this stage out of all the roms a true working MIUI rom is possible.

This is kind of what I was thinking as well. And not to take away from this Dev creating and sharing this ROM at all... Because that's still a great thing

It is possible, but unlikely. If you kindly ask the Bump! devs to bump an image for you, often times they will (If you provide the original image, of course. They won't compile anything for you, if I had to bet.).
This is for the F400K model is that coming with unlocked bootloader on delivery?

If it was just stock with a theme wouldn't data work? It could be an LG base but still be MIUI. There are numerous MIUI ROMs for HTC devices that are Sense based instead of AOSP, but it's still MIUI. Not sure if that could be done here but it's a possibility I guess.
If the dev can make a build for the D851 I'll be glad to test it out.

90% of all offical miui roms for other devices than their own is based of original firmware from the device HTC has sense base, Samsung's got tw base. This is to ensure use of stock applications such as camera and radio.

Hmmm... sorry if i'm skeptical but i'm pretty sure this is just a themed stock rom with MIUI theme on it, need proof? simple, no one has gotten bumped yet, so the kernel couldn't possibly boot unless it was LG Stock which means the OS is stock with some theme.
I may be wrong and if I am sorry, but I doubt at this stage out of all the roms a true working MIUI rom is possible.

Yes, this is based on the LG stock rom。
It does not need kernel Because it supports all the stock kernel

Did you never use the Sense based MIUI ROMs on the One XL? Those used the stock Sense camera. Same thing going on here.
And yeah, hoping for D851 support as well.
This corresponds to D855?
did someone try this rom ?

Q and A - Read it!
Q. Who is this ROM for?
A. Its for the Home-brew enthusiast that wants to make a ROM for themselves. Its for developers that want to build a ROM for the community but may not have access to a complete untouched file set. Its for that guy that forgot to make a back up!
Q. Who is this ROM not for?
A. Crack Flashers. You will not get a flash high from this ROM. Its stock rooted!
Q. Why doesn't it have any mods? All the other ROMS have xxxxx
A. Its a stock ROM!
Q. Is the ROM supposed to take over 15 years to install?
A. Yes, for some reason it does take longer than normal to install. Marshmallow is huge and I opted to go the old school install method. See reason#1 as to why I would do this.
Q. Will this encrypt me?
A. No, it should not!
Thanks
@Chainfire (Root!)
@Stericson for busybox

When you say sound boost are you referring to mixer_paths.xml? Or is there something else out there that is new that I have missed in the past 9 months?
Thank you for this. Very usefull!
Can i ask: which version of SSU is included? Thanks.

I think it will if you know what values to modify. I will look into it later. I am making a slow come back.

For the most part yes. I made some superficial changes to the installer that tells people it will take a while to install and remind them not to let TWRP installer SuperSU. Other than that the ROM is exactly the same.

I believe it can recognize an unlocked bootloader - and some people suggest once android pay has been initially set up, one can re-enable supersu and as long as bootloader stays locked, works - but only on stock/near stock roms.

I read that for tap to pay to work you have to delete or .bak a file in the root/su folder . xbin_bind I think is the name.

I nearly went blind trying to read that text, I think I found the download for the kernel
flashing for super awesomeness now...
So help needed- I need suggestions for new kernel setting apps. Preferably something I can add download support to. Kernel Adiutor seems to have gone dead and hasn't had any update in over 3 months.

I've been using Kernel Toolkit for over a year now. I have never had any major problems with it. It also gets updated on a pretty regular basis.

Was checking that out but I'm not paying to use features that are in free apps normally or expecting anyone to pay to use the kernel. Otherwise really good app

Thank you for doing this for us s5 owners.
How can I get rid of that volte icon? And I keep losing my WiFi connections on restart. I've read about a fix before but I can't find it.
Will run it and see how it goes, performance seems to be react to input quicker! Thanks again!

Installed and I lost root. Also had a ton of random reboots I tried almost all of the governors and still random reboots. I'm running the latest version of Thunderbolt, maybe that could be the reason why. I know @malbert16442 has an alpha MM stock Rom so maybe it's only compatible with similar roms. Idk I just know that I had a ton of Issues on Thunderbolt.

Yeahhh If you're running a s6, s7, note 5 or any kind of port from another device I will disregard any bug you report and don't want any bug reports from them.
I don't do rom ports, and won't even attempt to adjust to them.

Yeah that's what I figured, that's why it was so buggy. I'll wait until I can test @malbert16442 new rom, you always put out quality work so that's why I thought it was strange I should have known better though :silly:
