LG Optimus G E975 Helpp

hi to all, i am using lg optimus g e975 Korean in Pakistan. android 4.1.2 installed on it. now i want to upgrade it to higher version. I tried LG Support Tools, it find an upgrade foe my cell phone but after downloading a large file when it start upgrading process and my phone goes into downloading mod it gave error that please remove your battery and then insert it again and then try again... i tried many time but same error.. i actually want to upgrade my android software to kitkat 4.4 is it possible? if possible then what is the best and safe way to upgrade my lg optimus g e975... thanks ..
There's no official Kit Kat for your phone. You would have to use a custom rom like CyanogenMod or something along those lines. The LG Support Tools sucks. You should try using this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498102
I gave you the link to the latest KDZ (official firmware) for the Indian version in your other thread. I'm also not sure if many custom roms support the language you are looking for either. Basically you would want to root (Safe Root or Framaroot should work) then use FreeGee to unlock bootloader and install custom recovery. Then boot to recovery, backup rom, and wipe, and install new one.

I answered this before on my post (where you replied) Our problem is that we have Android 4.4.2 Kitkat but in the latest version (LGMS32310c) and it stills being impossible to root, as there is not any software able to it. Our solution is to have patience, unless one of us is able to create the software (I am not).

The process involves rooting your phone, unlocking the bootloader, and installing a recovery. Once that is done you can install custom roms. I would recommend skipping cyanogenmod 11 and just jump to one of the Android 6 (marshmallow) roms that can be found here. Listed below are references that should help you accomplish your task.

The link below explains how to back up your EFS, which is something you definitely want to do.

Marshmallow for the E970 is only for the adventuresome. The less adventurous should stick with a Lollipop ROM. I have only tried 3 or 4 but like Resurrection Remix v5.6.4 which can be found in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-g-att/development/rom-t2869745 .
Note: It is not the same as version v5.6.8 found in http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt...-resurrection-remix-updated-11-18-15-t3253357

Rooted LG K7: Do I upgrade from Lollipop to Marshmallow?

Closing thread. Will try Flashfire.
Sorry for inconvenience

My phone is a T-Mobile LG K7 (aka LG K330). I rooted with Kingroot & did the SuperSU changeover. The phone came with Android 5.1.1, but T-Mobile is offering an upgrade to Marshmallow.
1. I'm worried about being able to root again if I upgrade. How likely is it that I can't root again after upgrade?
2. Is the upgrade worth the risk? What would I gain going from Lollipop to Marshmallow?
3. When I got the phone, the only root app I found that worked was Kingroot. Are there any newer root apps for the less well-known phones?
Will try Flashfire

You would have to use lg up and then find a kdz file for your variant of the g5. Then boot into download mode and select upgrade and then start
