Belkin Qode universal 7" keyboard - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

I was wondering if anyone had tried the Belkin Qode 7" universal keyboard, part number F5L146eaBLK, which I stumbled on via Ebuyer
http://www.ebuyer.com/522252-belkin-qode-portable-keyboard-case-f5l146eablk
According to an Amazon listing, the dimensions are
242 x 188 x 30 mm
compared with the Z ultra at
179.4 x 92.2 x 6.5 mm
OK, so it's pretty thick, but that includes the flappy bit which holds the device and acts as a protective cover.

I've just bought this nice case to my Blackstone
Hi Guys,
This is my first post with the forum, and so far, I love it
I just bought this cover/casing for my HD / Blackstone, and it works perfekt. The inside of it is covered with some kind of textile, so it slides nicely in and out, and the grip is so far (i've had it for a week) very good. The resistance is quite firm, but I will keep you update you on how it is after some time...

Zenithink Case for our GTablet?

I am thinking that this case may actually fit pretty good. I found the dimensions for both the Zenithink ePad and the GTab and they are not that far apart for this case to work.
Zenithink Dims: 270 X 180 X 15
GTab Dims: 267 X 173 X 10.5
The case is $29.95 directly from the Zenithink.US website and they show to be in the US.
I may give this one a try.
Anyone think it could be a problem or have tried it already?
There is already a thread talking about this case and others.
how about this one?
wow how about this one?
that looks like an exact fit. where did you see that?
DHgate..g tablet case.

$7.21 case for Amazon Prime members

If you are looking for an inexpensive case that will give you good protection, I had bought this case for a netbook but discovered it works pretty well for the G-tab. It is memory foam padded. It has two clear vinyl straps that will hold the bottom of the G-tab in place and which allow you to still view the screen. It can actually function as a stand in landscape mode but it can't handle more than light taps this way unless the back is propped against something. I have attached a couple pictures.
Price is $7.21 shipped if you have amazon prime and $9.20 if you buy from third party amazon seller Senyx.
Outer Dimensions: 11-3/4" by 8-1/2"
Inner Dimensions 11" x 7-3/4".
link: http://www.amazon.com/Booklet-Netbo...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1295738870&sr=1-1
$4.21 for similarly sized cases of the same brand
The following two cases are cheaper ($4.21) and have the same dimensions (11 x 7.75 x 1 inner compartment and 11.2 x 8 x 1 inches outer shell) despite being marketed for smaller sizes netbooks, they are same brand (case crown) and provided by same seller (fulfilled by amazon as well).

8.9" Slim Case For Acer Netbooks - Nylon Gray
I have ordered the above two, one for the GTab and one for a netbook
Thanks for tip OP.
From the single review of 8.9" case:
I accidentally browsed this netbook case and though it says it's for 8.9" netbooks, I was able to fit my 10.1" netbook comfortably.

sanvara: can you please confirm your amazon case dimensions ? Thank you in advance.
Good research. I didn't consider those since they seemed to be made for smaller netbooks. When I bought the case above a couple months ago it was on sale for $4.21 shipped too!
The outer dimensions on the case I have are 11-3/4" by 8-1/2" and inner 11" x 7-3/4". There is a fairly thick ring of padding around the edges which accounts for the difference between the outer and inner dimensions.
I personally like black and the slim design version over the double pouch for daily use but I may pick up the double pouch for when I want to carry the power cord somewhere.

I got mine the other day. It fits perfectly. The only thing to be careful of is remember the the "top" of the case is actually the "bottom." I already opened it once and forgot the the straps to hold it in are up by the handles. Luckily, I caught the tab before it fell out.
But I've already used the case to take the tablet on the road and it works and stands great. Watched a movie with absolutely no issue at all in this. I'm thinking about ordering the other one aasoror listed as well for the extra pouch for accessories as the tablet is taking flight this week.
Great find on these guys!
Thanks to both of you!

I looked at my local sears. They have the EXACT SAME case in the store, under the Case Logic brand for $15. But if you buy the G tab case online, it's currently under $5.00. Honestly, I think you're insane NOT to get this case for the price!
Agreed and its padded and the quality is good.

I just received this case. It doesn't fit. The inner dimensions are roughly: 9.5 x 7.25 inches. The G tab is roughly: 10.5 x 6.75 inches. So the case is about an inch too.
aasoror, where did you find the dimensions when you searched. They aren't listed in Amazon's page. Maybe they sent the wrong one?

Thanks more letting us know it doesn't fit. I almost ordered one. I wouldn't have thought it would fit since it's marketed for a 9" netbook.
The case I posted actually has a bit of room. When my case with the keyboard comes I'm going to see it it fits in there, I think it will.

Recieved my Amazon case today. Fits well and is a good deal for the $7
I am thinking about purchasing a basic neoprene sleeve to put my G-Tablet in. I don't need a normal case, as I have a custom carbon fiber weave on the back, and prefer holding it without a case. I just need something to protect it while it is in my book-bag. I was thinking about the following sleeve, but am worried about the size.
(apologise for the lack of proper link, I don't post very often)
amazon.com/ Neoprene-Netbook-Fujitsu-Samsung-Gateway/dp/B002TSCL2G/ref=sr_1_14?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1296573496&sr=1-14
It lists for 10 inch netbooks, and its listed dimension is 11x8.25, which theoretically should work for the tablet. What do you guys think? There are similar sleeves for 12 inch netbooks, but I don't want the tablet sliding around inside too much.

List of Compatible Cases

If the TF Prime is the same size as the TF (original), most of the cases listed in the thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060872 will work. Unknown about the sleeves due to possibly different ports, switches, etc.
Hi, here's the dimensions of the two... (from ASUSTek's website)
TF101:
Tablet - 271 x 171 x 12.98mm
Dock - 271 x185 x 28mm
TF201:
Tablet - 263 x 180.9 x 8.3mm
Dock - 263 x 180.8 x 10.4
The dock connector is in a similar location, but the rest are not. I think it's pretty safe to assume that the cases are not cross compatible, for all except the stretchy neoprene ones, that are more of a bag than a case.
i found a sleeve looks nice and high quality ,nice zip.

Incipio Faxion

I just purchased the Faxion for the DNA and should be arriving late this week. Because it's newer than the dual pro or feather, I was unable to find pictures or reviews of them on a dna. Anyone have the faxion for this phone? I bought mine in black and decided on it rather than the dual pro because it's supposed to be a bit slimmer and narrower. But my wife has the dual pro for her SG3 and looks to be excellent quality so I'm hoping I like the faxion purchase I made sight unseen.
Where'd you order it from?
It's on the Incipio website but I searched on amazon and found it there as well for $28.99 + $2.97 shipping, so I ordered it from there.
Mind making a little review of the case for us? or just give us some insight about the case since you physically have it? Way better than looking at pictures.

I like the look of this case a lot. It looks like it will protect well enough for my needs while still being fairly thin.
Is there anyway the back status light is still going to be visible? That might be the deciding factor for me.

Unless you drill a hole in it, no.
But I think that literally 1 case has a hole for it, so I don't think you'll have much of a choice.

I might pick one up...my Diztronic is starting to annoy me.
Curious to see how you guys like it...not sure i would like the glossy case exterior... but we'll see.
The dual pro cases are very good, had one for my Gnexus and other older phones before.

I just received mine and I have to say it makes it look really nice, its still slim and keeps its curves while adding good protection (I got the grey/yellow one). The only complaint I have is that it is a little slick in the hand, but not too bad. I would take pictures but, I don't have my camera with me :/ would definitely recommend.
Here are pics of the Faxion case on my DNA. Overall the case fits very well. Power and volume buttons are a little hard to press, but that's really not the cases fault. I'm not to crazy about the glossy finish, it's a scratch/scuff magnet (all the pics on the Web did not show this glossy finish), I may have thought twice about buying this case and just gone with the dual pro. However, one of the main reasons I did go with the Faxion is it has a thinner profile than the dual pro, and it doesn't disappoint from that aspect. It doesn't add a lot of weight or extra to the phone, fits nicely in my size 34 jeans pocket The one thing I am completely disappointed about though is the screen protector provided by Incipio. You can see in the picture that because the screen on the DNA is curved on the edges, the protector doesn't stick all the way around for about a mm. I'll have to buy some replacements online.

Actually the dual pro is suppose to be the exact same thickness (according to the specs on incipio's website) and the buttons are a ton easier to press in my opinion.

So they are the same thickness like he said....
One piece of warning regarding this case, the microusb charging cable doesn't work because the backshell on the microusb side of the cable that plugs into the phones charging port is to thick with the HTC provided cable. I had to use my wife's cable from her Samsung SG3 that has a thinner profile backshell.
Sent from my Droid DNA
Disregard my statement above regarding the microusb cable that comes with the phone, it does work just fine with this case. I was using a cable from another device I've had in the past and that's where I was having issues.

i received my dual pro today and its great as to be expected from a 2 part case (silicon, hard plastic) all the buttons are easy to hit unlike the otterbox i have and this case feels real nice in the hands the included screen protector feels cheap but dosent take away from the quality of the screen like most free protectors do, overall i'm very satisfied this is exactly what i've wanted since i got the phone.
