HTC One M8 unlocked International Version on Reboot Loop - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi There.
I Have an HTC One M8 International Version has not been rooted just plain custom stock installed, it was working Fine, all of a sudden it went off and wasn´t able to be turned on, at this point it would just vibrates repeatedly and was flashing led indicator on green or orange (times blinking/at times solid).
I read on some other forums it might be a battery problem, so i swichted the battery with no results, kept doing the same thing. as getting deep into this some other peeps suggested it might be the screen so i changed the display.
Now, with the new battery and a new display i manage to get the screen to work but i just keeps rebboting (on htc logo) after 10 secs even if i power it off it will turn on and keeps rebooting, im able to get to hboot menu but no furthermore, wont go to recovery at all, and will restart boot loop when chose any option (fast boot, reboot or recovery).
Help please since it is not root, quite sure it hasnt been erased the rom.
:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Any help or suggestion to get it to work again, just as a factory device.

[Q] HTC Hero [Era G2 Touch] possible serious problem...

Hello, dear xda users. I am kinda new in Android world- i bought HTC phone month ago and i tried to get used for it. My phone is polish version of T-Mobile G2 and its called ERA G2. I rooted it, installed Amon-Ra and tried a lot of custom ROMs. After month of using different kind of Android and HTC ROMs i stayed with RCMix 2.3, because of his speed and 2.1 Sense on it. And now my problem begins:
Today my menu button stoped working in some applications so i decided to reboot device. Everything went fine with getting off, but when phone vibrated and Era initializing screen appeared, nothing happened after that.
-I tried with removing SIM, SD and all other options but still it is frozen. After couple minutes its vibrating again and restarts.
-When i plug charger for turned off phone, charging led is on but at the same time i am turning on phone, led disappears (phone is still plugged to charger).
-I cannot go to recovery by holding Home+Power... nothing happens.
-When i am holding VOL Down and Power this unknown for me HTC/Android window appears but automatically starts some kind of loading, and when its in Simlock and opening FAT32 something it restarts and Era initialization screen is on again.
-Unfortunately i dont have any warranty for this phone and i am from Poland so professional technical support is the worst way of helping for me right now.
I really enjoyed HTC Hero and i want to enjoy it more, so please if you know any way or kind of solution, please reply ; ) [sorry for my english]
Do You have adb set up?
By nothing happends You mean it wont turn on, or it wont run recovery?
Sent from my Hero using XDA App
remove battery and put it back again. This will turn off the phone. Then try Power it up. Do you get into bootloop again?
What about recovery? Replace battery and power up into recovery. 2 things might happen. You can get into your recovery normally and reflash the rom. Or you might get a screen with a phone and a big red exclamation mark. In this case you've lost your recovery and need ruu install.
brat.haneq---> i ment that i cant go to recovery- i have initialization screen and nothing happens.
So, first of all i restarted my phone a lot of times in different combinations (with SIM, without SD etc.). I cannot get to recovery when i am pressing power+home buttons and nothing happens, no exclamation mark like arvan said. I just see blue initialization screen from Era (it says Era G2 Touch)as always. Normally after some seconds it dissapears and normal bootscreen from ROM shows up, but not this time. Any thoughts?
Oh, and what is adb set up? Cheers ; )
So I guess You've really lost the recovery.... And as I said, RUU install will help...
Okay, but how i can install RUU? I tried from PC but Windows doesnt see my device... Any other option?
have you got the drivers? they come with htc sence. what does your pc see instead of hero? there might be some unknown device in the device manager if it's a driver problem.
Install RUU form SDcard (extract ROM.zip from RUU, rename it to HEROIMG.zip and put it to root of SDcard) using HBOOT mode.

Phone won't boot up (rooted)

I attempted to flash MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 Atrix ByTeamMotoTegra today, and was almost successful, but I found out that I shouldn't have wiped the phone before flashing. I lost the touch functionality, and couldn't select my language. I flashed my old ROM (Neutrino) to try to flash back to MIUI, but still could not seem to get the touch funcationality.
After a few times of taking out the battery and trying to get the MIUI ROM working, I ran into a boot loop. The screen will not go past the screen with the red logo, no matter what I do. If I hold the volume up/down buttons, "starting RSD protocol support" appears, but nothing else happens. The phone just keeps turning off, then returning to the screen with the red logo. Any ideas on how to get past this screen?
i have a similar problem, i rooted and unlocked a friend atrix today on 2.3.6 version 4.5.141
it went fine and booted normally. i then went into cwm and made a mistake by not making a backup, cleared data cache and dalvik then proceeded to flash aokp. it booted but didnt go past the motorola dual core screen while still displaying unlocked. i can still go to fastboot and even into cwm as i have attempted to flash other roms after clearing all things out again but nothing is going past the boot screen.
any suggestions?
I can scroll through the other CWM menu options, but I can't boot up or anything else. Anytime I select one of the options, it will either just restart and go back to the red logo screen, or say I don't have enough battery life to flash. My battery is now completely dead and doesn't seem to be charging at all, even though it's been plugged in all night.

[Q] htc one is not turning on....

guys...im new to this devoloping tools and mods, i own an at&t htc one which is unlocked for indian carriers, the phone was was working quite good but suddenly one day it it restarted and got stuck on the main boot screen where the htc logo appears, and it was stuck for an hour, i tried restarting it,but the buttons were not working, my friend who is a small time developer suggested me to press the power button and the vol down button to reset it,but it led me to a screen where it said the storage is encrypted and i should type a password to decrypt ,i clearly remember i did not enter any password for such a purpose.i got scared and i tried to reset it again and again it showed the same encrypted screen, then suddenly the phone turned on in airplane mode and nothing was comin g not even the settings,as i mentioned abt my friend who is a devoloper said he would reset the phone and he will flash it with some custom rom...i think the stock at&t version. but the bootloader was locked it was a tedious process to unlock the bootloader and recovery was nt there in d phone,he tried to load the recovery and flashed it, but it was saying as the usb is not mounted and e tried after some time and it turned on...but instantly it got stuck again at the logo screen, after that he tried to flash it many times..it was the same thing again, and it suddenly got turned off,its not being detected by the pc also... i read abt an article in here as when we expose the phones ambient sensor to bright light it turns on...i tried it nut it didnt work...nw wat shud i do guys...please help me!

HTC DESIRE 816 switches off at logo and most of the time won't enter the recovery.

My phone won't boot as i stated it turns off automatically at the htc logo screen. Sometimes if it wants to it do get turn on (totally the phone's choice i would say ), but it won't stay turned on for more then 5-7 minutes. I have been trying switching it on for more then 2-3 hours ,in between i firstly wiped the cache then made a factory reset (yes it loads into twrp recovery sometimes....totally my phone's choice here too). I was waiting for it to get into recovery again as the above stuff didn't make any progress. So just when it got into recovery I re-flashed my custom rom that i have been using i.e Lineage 14.1....but even this time nothing resolved ....it still switches off at the htc logo screen and stays off and now I know nothing else to do. Please help me with this.
same issue
Same happens with my handset as well,my case is that battery shows enough charge but doesn't turn on.when connected to a power supply phone switch ons when disconnected it again shut downs

HTC 516 Desire Completely Bricked?

Hey, I'm new here and I'm generally pretty new to flashing and rooting android phones.
I've been stuck with this the whole day, started at 10am, it's 7pm now and I've still made no progress at all.
Anyway here's the problem....
I've got an HTC Desire 516 Dual Sim, (Europe), and over night the Phone just reset itself while it was charging. Was able to turn it back on in the morning, but eventually it reset and went into a boot loop ( Endless HTC Logo, Sometimes black screen just after).
I couldn't access anything, os I went into CWM Recovery and Wiped/Reset the phone to factory defaults. (Previous owned apparently put CWM on it.)
The problems persisted and the phone wouldn't get past the HTC Logo, not even black screen anymore. I've done some google searches, tried to boot into Fastboot and flash it with SP Flash Tool, found a ROM here, but the Fastboot (Volume Down + Power) Doesn't do anything, phone just boots into HTC logo and stays there.
Tried putting the rom onto an SDcard and installing it through CWM, wiped Dalvik Cache and everything, but once I start to flash the rom in CWM, the process just aborts automatically.
Anyway, I've been doing this the whole day, and I'd appreciate any help, plus, explain like i'm 5 please, since i'm not really that android savvy.
If there's an option to just completely reinstall the Recovery+Fastboot+Android System and it takes a very long time, I'll take it, since I can't really get a new mobile phone at the moment, hence why I'm stuck with the 516 in the first place.
Thanks a bunch for the replies guys
