For Nexus 6 SHAMU
I was tired of Google not releasing an OTA or factory image so I compiled my own ROM for NEXUS 6!!
- Based on NRD90M AOSP
- Stock Kernel
- Root and Busybox, Nexus Launcher, ugly leaked ringtones [coming soon]!
Download folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-CbH9Yv1OUWWXRlYmNNLUZ2dGs
Go to latest version and download the ZIP file, the folder image_files contains system.img/boot.img and others
What works/what doesn't:
havent tested it yet but please report what works and what doesn't
Bugs: you tell me!!!
First make a backup, in case anything goes wrong and then download the ZIP, wipe all except the internal storage partition and flash the ZIP then wipe the cache.
Changelog
Version 2:
Added N Preview blobs
Version 1:
Initial
PLEASE PRESS THANKS AND BUY A BEER!!11!!! DAE GOOGLE IS SLOW LOL

I assume the stock kernel included does not enforce encryption????
P.S. Appreciate the work you did to get this out for us.

This didn't work for me Capitan. Says error, unknown command while flashing, though the script completes. Gets stuck at Google screen on reboot.

Cool that is working, whats working specifically? WiFi/camera/BT/RIL/Apps....
Did the issue of Google Play services persist after a reboot?
Also did the Setup Wizard crash on you?
Can you take some screenshots

Don't flash this. Every time I try to flash the GAPPS it tells me that they're meant for 7.0 only and that I was on SDK 22 (5.1). It also overwrites TWRP, so have fun reflashing that. I'd suggest to wait for the Google images or wait for someone to release a proper build, not this hacked together junk.

I built the android_7.0.0 tag and uses N Preview blobs, it should not say API 22. You can flash system.img and boot.img separately, they are in the folder. This is indeed a hacked together build since Google doesn't seem to push anything, not even a statement regarding the status of the update.

Everything works on useless build on general section, so everything would work in this build. No FC on setup wizard

Can anyone confirm Vulkan support?

When you say not to fix permissions is that in general or only directly after flashing a fresh install?
Just don't do it at all. It causes bootloops, from my experience, in all 5.0 ROMs.

It's amazing how even somthing as subtle and simple as that is enough to impress me with a ROM. Not to mention is really does save a pretty decent amount of time not having to open an app and check.

Is that firmware/radio zip flashable through Twrp?
Also, is force encryption disabled?
Which gapps do you recommend?
Do you think I could ask more questions in one reply? ☺

Yes force encryption is disabled. Gapps are not required as this is a stock Google rom not a aosp. The firmware radio zip is not flash able through twrp it is a Windows executable fastboot file (unless this has changed since I flashed it awhile ago). Somewhere it explains how to use the firmware zip file I'll see if I can find it for you.
Ok so looking at the zip file for the firmware I believe it has changed from what it was when I flashed the e version of firmware and radio. It appears now that you do not have to use windows/fastboot to flash this file anymore. It looks like to me u should be able to flash through twrp. Can someone else confirm?
I'm 99.999% positive looking at the zip file it can be flashed via twrp.
Anyone dirty flash this over the E build? Also, will having Franco kernel be an issue or can I just flash away?

Are you on stock e rom? I don't see any issue flashing from E. Its really pretty minor changes so you shouldn't have any issues. But of course always make a backup and clean flash if you have issues.. Also Franco kernel will work fine with any 5.1 build. I don't believe the boot images have changed throughout all these new images
Yep, I'm actually on his E rom, odex, with Franco. I went from D to E dirty. Let's try it again, eh?

Is there an Odex version of this? I've been on your odex e build for a while and wanted to try the latest. Thanks!
i am trying to install some script in the init.d
but i cant find that folder. This does have init.d correct?
Would it be possible for the original poster to make a Stock 47M ROM that is NOT rooted (but DOES disable forced encryption!)?
I'm having a serious problem with Real Racing 3 on this build. It won't start. EA's support says 3.2.2 fixes issues with nexus 6 and 5.1. I think they are full of crap, but as I'm rooted, I know any crash reports or stuff I send them will likely be tossed as they don't 'support' rooted devices. So I'm hoping to get a T-Mobile build that's not encrypted but also not rooted just to see if the RR3 crash occurs and send them a crash dump.
Thanks in advance, or if you know who DOES have a 47M unrooted/decrypted flashable ROM I'd appreciate it.

[MODULE] [STABLE] Google Pixel experience, v3.5.8, systemless by anupritaisno1

My module will only have what's necessary
If users want a feature, I'll add, test and (maybe?) release
What does it do?
Installs a few pixel apps
https://github.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus/tree/master/system
Runs magisk's resetprop utility to set the following values
Everything is being updated so constantly that you need to check my github: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus/master/common/post-fs-data.sh
Psst. Unless you really have this urge to read my long, useless, boring speech, here
Repo link: https://github.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus
XDA support thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-google-pixel-experience-v3-5-1-t3516665
Download link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/a...enceOneplus/master/PixelExperienceOneplus.zip
So, the pixels came out
Everything suddenly became so "pixelated" (RR literally took pixel's theme and so did oxygenos beta on the op3)
Everyone started making their own 'pixel experience'
So i decided to do it too
But i wanted to think different
I wanted a mod that could give me pixel experience without butchering my system and deleting important apps
(Yes, king's pixel experience removed important apps that i need everyday like the cyanogenmod music player)
I wanted to only add the necessary apps, staying free from unnecessary bloatware
And this is it:
Let us call it "aosp meets pixel"
You get the pixel experience you've always wanted but the aosp experience you missed
You stay away from potential instabilities caused by debloat (i mean, who in this world removes cyanogenmod file manager from cm)
It survives otas
It is easier to get past SN
Do i need to be systemless?
AndroidBeginNinja said:

Really it's just a matter of choice.
If you don't want to debloat or if nightlies are a problem for you where you have to reflash the mod every time but flashing a 9 mb file at every ota (magisk) won't hurt or if you want additional control over existing stuff then just go for it
Really, this is just pixel meets aosp because you get all the pixel apps while still keeping aosp apps. The only real difference is that I used @FaserF's zip as a base
Can you specify what all apps your zip adds and removes from the ROM ?

This is not a bug but it is a mistake on your behalf that resulted in an error causing the flash to fail
Please, atleast try to understand that this module does need magisk
You need to flash magisk first
Bug report ignored, reason: user mistake
So if I get this right, I need to:
Flash (dirty) CM 14.1
Flash SU
Flash Magisk
Then this Pixel zip.
Yes?
EDIT: Done. Alert slider works fine and so does everything else.

Magisk is the interface that's allowed us to use systemless modules. If you don't have it installed, your system can't know by itself how to use systemless stuff.
Flashed CM, mini Gapps, magisk, Pixel Experience, Boeffla Kernel and OOS Camera.
I got an "There was a problem communicating with Google servers, try again later" error.
I tried re-flashing, got the same error.
I tried flashing stock Gapps instead, but again, same result.
Please help.
Edit: I just flashed it without magisk and Pixel Experience, and it's working flawlessly.
Edit 2: Nvm, realized I didn't flash SU. Sorry. Thanks, btw. Works perfectly.

Setup a full backup before tryin' to install this.
I wiped everything else than storage, then i installed your ZIP trough recovery. I did not flash SuperSU or Magisk after flashing the ZIP, i am using twrp3.1.1-0 and i had the Pexorom installed before.
Did i bootloop my phone because i didn't install a proper SU (don't think so, but i am unsure)? Tried your 10.14/.15/.18 build on my F5121. Even tried a few F5122 builds, but the bootloop isn't evadeable.

Hello.
Recently I have came up with the idea of making a Pixel Experience GSI Installer for noobs
I have finished the idea and it works perfectly on every device that supports Treble.
I call it the PixelGSI Installer.
It will be updated every time a new Pixel Experience Update comes
- Install Instructions -
First flash the Patcher (DynaPatch)
Wipe system, data and cache
Reboot to recovery
Install it using the installer.
Your warranty is now void.
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about flashing this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. HARD!
And your done!
- Bugs -
You tell me and i'll fix them.

@ You for trying out this project of mine!
Anyways hope you like this project of mine!
Patrick.
This only works on ARM64 Devices and ARM32 Devices not x86 ones (I might release an x86 version in the future)
The patcher is only for Samsung devices as they do not have A/B partition scheme.
Any other company is fine without the patcher.
Thanks for the software patricktbp! Trying this with my motorola, hopefully this works.
I'm sorry for the ROM not working I need to fix it since I accidently put an VNDKLite image and not a regular one
The issue is fixed! Check out the new version!

Excuse me
This patcher and dynapatch v1.5.zip where is the difference
Hello friend, first thank you very much for this.
I'd like to clear up some doubts, sorry, but I've been out of all this for years.
These GSI roms mean I could in theory install on any device of any make/model is that it?
The other questions would be: does GAPPS come installed or do I need to flash it separately? Does it already come with root or do I need to flash the magisk?
Well, I understand that if it's a generic ROM for any device model/brand, I might encounter some issues like fingerprints not working and such, or even not booting.
I hope these doubts are resolved and I will test this. Anxious.
Many thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english, and for peppering you with questions.

Hi, not the OP but am a friend of his. This should be able to install on any device, worked on my Nexus 5 for example. GAPPS is pre installed since its running a Pixel Experience image. I dont think it has magisk built in.
No worries about your bad english but I will also forward this message to the original OP.
Hello! patricktbp here. I lost my XDA account so I can't upload new versions sadly. I will soon make a new thread with new versions of this installer (and also try and fix bugs with this too). Stay tuned for that!

Hello,
Did you happen to re-upload or make a new post with the files? I would really like to try the patcher and the ROMs. Thank you.
@patricktbpp any news?
