Best ROM for Battery Life and Stability - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

I have Redmi note 3 SD (kenzo) can anyone tell me what's the best ROM for battery and stability?
I have used RR (N) with Randon Kernel 4 but it only gives me SOT of 3 hours while I used to get 6 hours on MIUI.
Can you suggest me a good one please?
I have also tried Exodus but it gt stuck in bootloop.

go for nitrogen OS with stock kernel only.
will get easily battery life of 2 to 2.5 days with SOT of minimum of 6 hrs.
Also rom is very fast fluid and stable with almost no bugs.
hit thanks if helped.

Battery stats MIUI vs CM13 (RN3P)

Can someone tell me why on CM13 or any CM13 based rom is about 10h left of battery on 100% when on MIUI is about 3 days? People said that SOT is similar on both. (8-10h)
CM13 count it in different way?
Thank's

because battery stats on mobile are basically rubbish. Just gauge it based on your own usage. so many things will vary the stats, network strength, screen brightness, vibration strength etc.
Generally I find the battery lasts longer on debloated miui roms, but YMMV
Too big difference. 10h vs 3 days (72h), no way, need to be something more.

Well both are wild guess, on MIUI it is overestimation by OEM, while on CM it just a guess based on battery capacity and current draw. They'll get more accurate overtime, I'd say you need to use it for at least two weeks with normal usage, they'll be more similiar.

Same here for me.
about 2-3 days with stock miui
then only 10 hours with ResurrectionRemix which have issue with the processor.
I will try CM 12.1 by nahz if it's better or going back to stock rom

the screen on time has been reported to be about the same
the thing OP is complaining about is the estimated stats reported by the various OSes

RR
stable...
all working...
good battery backup too ( 8:30 to 9:30 hrs SOT )
AICP!
Best performance, most stable, best battery backup and the huge customization features (which I love!).
For even more battery backup, use DS Battery Saver (from play store) and Radon Kernel with darkness governor on both big and LITTLE (set those with Kernel Adiutor).
See the battery percentage, it will never come down.
Another option for best battery and stability is Slim/Tipsy (Tipsy preferred for customisation). Use these ROMs with the same DS battery saver and the same kernel (Radon) with the same governors and expect even more battery life.
@rasik107
9 hrs SOT?!? That's overkill bro, maximum is 6 to 7 hrs SOT for most of the phones with the huge battery and screen.
But I dont mean RR is bad, it is good too but AICP holds a special place in my heart, don't know why!!!

on 3G : 6-7 hrs...
on wifi : 8-9 hrs
I will post screenshot
Actually, I spend most of the battery on TWRP! (I am a Flashaholic!).
AFAIK, TWRP consumes 1% battery per minute or two.
My best is 8 hrs SOT.

Poor battery life on 6.11.3 xiaomi.eu ROM on Redmi Note 3 Pro

I'm running the 6.11.3 build for the last few days on my REDMI NOTE 3 PRO. The battery life seems pretty bad. Only getting 5 hours of SOT with 30% left.
I got around 8-9 hours of SOT with 15-20% left on RR 5.8 (Nougat) and similar on the CM13 Snapshot. Is there something wrong with this build? or Did I miss something?
Just so you know I've disabled all MIUI optimizations. Is the latest MIUI8 8.1.1.0 Global ROM better with battery management?
Install custom kernel for MIUI (e.g., Radon or AGNi)

Best ROM battery life

Hi guys,
I bought a MiPad a week ago. It came with Miui 7 (the stable and official version). I changed it to MIUISmoke (to get a rooted device, no lag on YouTube app, MIUI 8 interface,...). It has an incredible performances, but battery life is not was I expected (only 3 days and 3 hours of screen).
I'm looking for a ROM with a better battery life.
I only use my tablet for YouTube, web browsing and mails (no games!). I was thinking about xiaomi.eu (7.3) or CM 11 (more stable than 12 actually).
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!![emoji1]
I think the best rom would be the stable version.
Any other rom i tried had worst battery. Especially the AOSP/CM/Lineage roms.
I've tried MIUISmoke, BDITA, xiaomi.eu and the stable one. In my opinion the best is the stable and official version.
Thanks a lot!

You should definitely try the Lineage 13
You should try AOSP Extended

ResurrectionRemix vs LineageOS battery life on RN4 SD625

What do you think about battery life between ResurrectionRemix and LineageOS on SD 625 variant?
Don't compare ROMs better test urself ...Devs have putten same effort....

im on resurrection remix. i got 8hour++ SOT on heavy gaming , normal usage 10-12 hour SOT . Lineage0s maybe almost the same.but i prefer resurrection remix because we can customize a lots of the interface where lineageos lack of it.

You'll get similar battery life on both, was used to stick with stock kernels and got 7-9hrs SOT on LineageOS as well as RR.. Infact on every custom Roms.
