A2017G - 7.1.1 aka A2017G V1.2.B01 - ZTE Axon 7 Guides, News, & Discussion

It seams that 7.1.1 verison has been leaked before the official OTA.
In order to update you need to have 7.0 , download and update from : http://www.ztemobile.de/support/downloads/?product_id=2100#
After the 7.0 update download and install: http://penlane.me/fileserver/uploads/leaked_711_a2017g.zip
It has March Google security Patch!
Thanks to "matiuever" for his contribution.
I don't have A2017G so I cannot test.
Check the video below: https://youtu.be/jp_cFX82Gd4
Good luck!

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not the anticipated 7.1.1 OTA, but the first (and only) leaked beta.
It has been out for a while.

As far as I know V1.2.B01 means Beta.
You can compare it with the 2 weeks old Rom.
But I will download it anyway and do a SHA1 check.
I attached a picture
EDIT
Both files have the same SHA256
61EE66C9041611DF5852EC799DC706865405732B7999EF29D001AC8B42130FB2
Thread should be closed!

Every ROM has b in its number

So now the question comes is this beta or the official release leaked early??

Beta

Edit - sorry, it's the same leak they posted a week ago or more, but they removed the link

Enough dupicate info already - closed.
Please avoid creating threads that have already been covered.

[7D-503L/501u] Lollipop 5.0 (soon 5.1 and EMU 3.1) available in beta

Hi
Ryan Orig relayed this news: with a month late (it was scheduled for september), beta Lollipop is avalaible for chinese X1:
google translate this page:
http://cn.club.vmall.com/thread-5634771-1-1.html
to know how to send your IMEI number, and then receive the beta of the first lollipop rom for X1:
7D-501uV100R002C208B011 (EMUI3.0)
7D-503LV100R002C208B011 (EMUI3.0)
It's not clear for me if the released is for october (folowing the 1 month late delay), or if the Android 5.1/Emui 3.1 is for october ?
I've signed up for the beta how much time do i have to wait to receive it do you think ?
No idea. I let you know when first non chinese signers will get any answer/push
Fingers crossed it improves my X1's reception. Very happy with my Z Ultra, solid reception, great screen and fantastic support already on 5.1.1 with the recent OTA update. HUAWEI and a lot of other manufacturers could lean a lot from Sony...
Still miss the 7 inch screen.
It's already push the upgrade to those beta testers now.
(7D-503L first,7D-501u maybe later)
some beta tester already share "update.zip" and "update.app" on cloud storage
for example : this thread cn.club.vmall.com/thread-6043036-1-1.html
(It's for 7D-503L Dual 4G SIM version)
I did not try yet, because my device is 7D-501L
someone know the 7D-503L ROM can install on 7D-501L ?

are you on the Beta test list or is that the official OTA ?
you need stock system and stock recovery to take the update
check the file depot in my signature for the files

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow (with 1st of April security path) + EMUI 4.0 are under beta test and are expected to be released in June. The beta update is also available for public release on demand, and you can also subscribe to beta update by filling up necessary information at https://club.hihonor.com/in/update....i-4-0-marshmallow-limited-public-release.2417.
Take a note that this update isn't stable yet and we have reported many issues to Honor for that, and should get fixes sooner.
You can update to CM13 UNOFFICIAL, but before you do, just have a look at the issues mentioned for CM13. If you can live with them, I suggest you go for CM13. I am not sure whether CM13 for Honor 5x will ever be OFFICIAL (I don't know what makes it unofficial and official). Personally, I won't move to CM unless it gets fingerprint support (which is not possible until Honor releases Android 6.0.1 sources for Honor 5x).

@pank.dhnd the sources is much enough with the kernel releases which is more enough to patch the system files and make fingerprint sensor work with dev sources aka Beta.
Though i've applied for beta tester and recieved my update where as i have also patched already with the security update B150. I doubt that will i face bootloop no longer i don't go downgrading the system or re-flasing stock with B130 and update it.
@gopinaidu77 Can i just uprade this OTA ? with B150 security patched with stock with no root ??
@clsA I just applied for Beta testing and i've got the OTA aswell. i have doubt that by this month end the stock- official update will roll-on will i be able to capture that too ? Or is it better to stay in stock and avail the offcial rather opting Beta (B130).
@kartrikpal update, then do full twrp backup then do what ever you want

A2017G : new update in testphase - O(reo) not yet decided according to ZTE

Had some chat with ZTE and according to them a new update for the A2017G is in a testphase. Not sure though when it will be released and no specific details about the content of the update.
About the upgrade to android O(reo) : "not yet decided it will be (ever) developed for this device"
For those who want to see Jesus in person
Do you have screenshots of this chat?

Not more than I already mentioned.
No details of new features or improvements known.
No release date known.
Six days ago ZTE already posted in the German forum about the update beiing in testing phase.
The only known improvements are about vodafone LTE, wlan and the new security patch which will be regularly updated in the future

Need Help in Samsung S9+ security Patch Update

Hello I have Samsung S9+ SM-G965F Android 9.0 One UI
Serial No. RF8K20VD8WR
Baseband version: G965FXXU2CRLF
Last Security Patch Level show December 1, 2018.
Is it normal? Upon checking updates it shows device upto date.
Once I had changed the firmware may be last year to get One UI after that I am not able to receive any security update. How I can get the update of One UI 2.0?
Many thanks in advance.

One UI 2.0 isn't OTA yet, see separate thread for trying the beta (although my personal advice is wait a month for the finished version)
On release you'll need to probably download it and install manually, making sure the version you install matches your phones original CSC to re-enable OTA updates.
