Hi, i have a UMI Max and i've been searching for custom roms to try and all i've found are for the UMI Super, there's not a single one for the Max, heck, even this site doesn´t know the Max when i search for it (I installed the app on the smartphone and it says i have either a Umi Z or Umi Zero ).
So, my question is, can I install ROMs that are for the Super on the Max, or is it possible to make a port from a Umi Super ROM to make it compatible with the Max?

I have searched over the net for Gionee M5 Plus custom Roms but it's nowhere to be found. The funny thing is that the company doesn't have a forum where elites can assist people.

I too tried every where but no root not rom for gionee m5 plus but hovatech forum helped me for root and cwm instalation it successfull and working properly but there is cwm recovery is upside down but works well dosnt matter for me upside down.
I tried to port cm half a year ago, but never got to the point of a working camera nor fingerprint sensor - I´m not much of a developer . Would like to see a working custom ROM, but gave up on this

I know maybe this would be difficult since developers doesn't have SoC of MediaTek Helio X27 but I love MIUI and it would be great that someone with knowledge of porting and developing can port a MIUI 8 ROM to UMIDIGI Z and/or Z Pro.

I just bought This chinese/best buy Cubot Max2 for just 99€, and it's an amazing smartphone, for the price that require...
After 3 days of owning this phone, i've installed TWRP 3.2.3, and rooted with Magisk... And I was just wondering, if there's any sort of Custom rom (like lineageOS,ressurectionRemix,ect.)
The stock rom, is no that too bad, but it miss any sort of customization, and the stock gapps/apps sucks that bad (but it hasn't any bloatware).
It mounts android 9.0s and it has MT6765 mediatek cpu... and on the web you can find only roms for Cubot Max (1st gen). Any advice, tips and tricks for this device?

Hello, i have a zenphone pegasus 4s (Max pro m1), my problem is : the smartphone was meant to be sold in china and not europe, so they changed the rom to an european one (CN rom to WW), i can't update the smartphone since it won't even search for an update, i tried putting the rom at the root of the internal storage, but i didn't get a pop up to force the update, i want to know if it possible to install a custom rom (the phone is stuck on nougat 7.0) ? have a nice day.

Dude you don't have max pro m1, the m1 was launched with android 8.1 out of the box you have another device contact nearest service centre.
I did contact asus, and it's what they told me, i gave them phone series number and build number
Yours is a Max Plus (M1) not Max Pro M1. You're in the wrong place buddy,
