How do you like the screen? - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

I had a perfectly fine LG V20 (5.7" screen) on Sprint. I just came home with a Samsung S9+ on Xfinity Mobile (Verizon) and am a little disappointed. The screen looks beautiful, but what the heck it's smaller than my LG V20! It's the same length, but it's smaller in width.
The curved edges are annoying and stupid. When you have YouTube on, part of the video goes around that curve and when outside there's a glare across the whole length of the screen where the curve is.
I'm gonna keep the phone because I wanted the latest Android and want to use Google DayDream.

I also came from a v20, which lagged horribly. When I got the case, I thought Amazon sent me a s9 case instead of the plus!
While the phone itself is slightly smaller, keep in mind there's less bezel, and the 5.7 vs 5.9 is measured diagonally. Before my v20, I had a Nexus 6 which was going from a 5.96 to 5.7 inch screen and honestly it was about the same size. Measuring diagonally is the key here.

I don't understand this post. Are you saying the screen looks smaller or actually is smaller? The s9+ screen is 6.2" so it is definitely bigger than the v20.
The screen is gorgeous but I agree about the curved edges. They are a terrible design that actually takes away from the screen experience.

Don't you think the curved edge can be a bit odd? Isn't it a form of visual distortion?

The curved edge doesn't bother me at all, and it allows the phone to be narrower, which makes it easier to hold on to. But no single phone or design is going to make everyone happy. If your only goal is to have Orea and Daydream, you'd be better off with a Pixel, I think.

The curved edge bothers me only because there's a line of glare all the way across the phone where the sun hits the curve. Otherwise it's not that big of a deal in everywhere else but my car. I can't get a Pixel. I have Xfinity Mobile (Verizon).. it's freakin free (as long as you have Xfinity internet service).

Yep it does look smaller. I just measured.. looks are deceiving I guess.
S9+: 2 5/8" wide x 5.5" tall
LG V20 (not counting that tiny second screen): 2 11/16" wide x 5.0" tall.
I just realized when I originally compared the two, I had the phones side by side to measure with the screen off.. I totally forgot about the tiny second screen on the LG V20, which when off, looks like it's one big screen. That's where I went wrong.

Hey I had a Nexus 6P also. Unfortunately I cracked the screen and tried to replace it myself. I bought the kit on eBay to replace it, which came with tools to open the case, which you had to heat up with a hair dryer. Holy crap was that hard to open and holy crap did I damage the appearance of the phone LOL.
My mistake was comparing the LG V20 and the S9+ with the screens off.. I forgot about the LG V20 second screen, so that's what made it appear larger.
I never had any issue with LG V20 lag, but maybe because I Dirty Santa rooted pretty soon after I got it. I then uninstalled a bunch of crap.

I Nad a Nexus 6 not a 6P. It hit EOL so I wanted to upgrade. Got the v20 and had lag issues after about a month. It was constantly out of ram, and ran hot all the time (which made the processor get throttled). Those issues could be solved running an AOSP based rom, but you lost 2nd screen support, and until fairly recently, the wide angle lens support on the front camera. The two very things that got me to buy the v20 in the first place. I was resetting my phone monthly and rebooting daily, sometimes more than once.
I will say my s9+ typically sits at 1-1.5g of ram free. So clearly with what I run, 4gb of ram just wasn't enough, however, I trust my phone to be smart enough to kill apps in the bg before it's down to 384mb of free ram. Closing them myself would typically stop the lag. This isn't something I should need to do. It's a smart phone. It should be smart enough to know if something hasn't been used in 6 hours, that is safe to close it because I'm low on ram.
All that said, I love the 9+. I do have some issues using a swipe style keyboard with the curved screen. Part of it is the curve, and part I think is my Tempered Glass (Bodyguardz). I don't think it's sitting quite all the way, so sometimes it doesn't register touches especially on the lower left side. I'm about 90%certain that's the issue. There are obviously other things to get used to going from LG ui to Samsung Experience (although I am using Nova Launcher), but all in all, I'm glad I upgraded.

I noticed that the curved corners cut off part of the screen. I'm playing a game and part of it gets cut off.
Today I used adb (there's a post here) to remove bloatware without root. Fantastic post. It's the only reason I even wanted root. Phone boots quicker and stuff like Facebook, Samsung Messanger, etc are gone.

Display doesn't comply with high demands

Tell me is the screen of G2 so inglourious as shown there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2458409 ?
Seems LG uses worst and cheapest glass it could possibly find so it produces such distortions in picture. Maybe we must tell them they should better buy displays directly from HTC? WDYT?
What do I think? I think you've been trolling the G2 forums for a long time. Let people make their own decisions. I haven't met a high demand my screen doesn't comply with, so I think the title of this thread is ridiculous as well. If you don't like the phone, buy one you do like, and stop posting nonsense please. Its hard enough to sift through the good information on XDA, people shouldn't have to weed out bogus info.
Probly you confuse me with somebody else. 'Cause it's my advices considered useful not somebody's else
I just edited my post because it was harsh. You asked a question and it deserves an answer. I will leave that part of my response.
I just came from a DNA that has one of the best screens ever made and this screen is is marvelous even in comparison from every angle even extreme ones.
I don't know how anyone can complain about the viewing angles on the G2. Coming from just about every major smartphone of 2012/2013 I can say I didn't notice it. Do people really use their phones at extreme angles?
On a TV or Monitor, I get it, you may have it up higher or lower or whatever, but it is a PHONE. You generally have it in front of you...
Just food for thought. Personally I am very happy with the display on the G2.
If you want great viewing angles go get something with a super amoled screen. No one is forcing you to keep your phone. Or maybe your phone is defective. I have 0 issues with my screen.

personally this is the best screen ive used. some people are just so nitpicky. they should work in Quality Control so we dont get dings scratches that ive seen on my new macbook airs, iphone 5's.

I'm thinking you must not have seen this display in person. First off, this display is by far the best I've ever seen on any phone. The S4's display didn't really look as brilliant to me as this one does despite the contrast ratio of AMOLED. I love this screen and it's disappointing for people to troll this forum posting bad things about the IPS+ display. It's absolutely beautiful. I, also, wonder why you need extreme viewing angles for a smartphone screen. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is not even close to the worst or cheapest glass anyone could find.

eh, this screen iis good, but it's not as good as the DNA. hands down, DNA is better. better viewing angles, and doesn't have that weird rainbowish effect when looking at grays and whatnot..apparently there's a layer in there that HTC bought the rights to that LG i guess didn't...the G2 screen reminds me of my Rezound, which had that same weird effect to it.
dna screen kills all, hands down.
IMHO the G2 has a fantastic display. The viewing angles are fine for what they would be used for... maybe looking at your phone on a table without picking it up. other than that, 99.9% of viewing on a smartphone is done straight on.
Yeah, the viewing angle thing I get, but in real world use it is a non-issue. I came from an S3 and that screen is cosmetically beautiful, but incredibly inaccurate and way too contrasty for my tastes. It's like putting a TV in "demo mode", but all the time. Not to rag on it, I really enjoyed the S3, but if you want the best, most accurate display around, I cannot imagine anybody besting the G2 for a while...
I am loving the screen. The preloaded videos really showcase it.

I have no rainbow our any other screen anomaly.
For full disclosure my DNA had a very light blue spot about 6mm.
The LG screen is "tricky". You don't appreciate it until you look at a high definition video. Even the ones recorded on the DNA look better.

Same here, came from the DNA, still have it so side by side is easy comparison, and while the DNA screen is beautiful by anyone's standards, the G2 has the most gorgeous screen of any phone I've ever seen.
Android Authority's Review...
Listen to what they say about the screen & viewing angles compared to the GS4
Here's GSM Arena's review as well. Pay attention to what the reviewer says about screen quality & viewing angles
There you have it. 2 different respected reviewers saying the same thing & comparing the G2's screen to competitor phones lol

Out of all the phones I've owned, this display is great. No issues here, unless of course, you're under direct sunlight.

As someone mentioned the 2 videos they include on the phone are really nice to watch and show what the phone can do in that respect. I also like the ringtones and notifications from the Vienna Boys Choir lol. Also I live in Florida and this is the first phone where I could see the screen all through the day no matter where I was in or outside in the sun, I do have to take off my polarized shades in direct sunlight or the screen is too dark but that was the only time I couldn't see lol. Some folks complain about using the volume key shortcuts for the camera and quick memo and I say to them you can open them 2 or 3 other ways too. I haven't touched the power button since I got this phone, I just knock it on and off.
Viewing angles?
I'm looking at my phone with the most absurd viewing angles and there is only little change to what I can see. The colours are the same even looking from 160 degrees... I don't get your point here. LG is one of the best display makers out there imo...
I didn't realize how "muddy" my S4 was until I put it down on the desk next to my G2 and the DNA I have here. Someone here mentioned to me that the S4 whites were dirty or grey and sure enough it is, I just didn't notice it until I laid them side by side at the same brightness. I keep my brightness down around 40 to 50% most of the day and the G2 looks better there than the S4 or DNA to me. If I crank the brightness all the way up the S4 looks a lot better but that's not where I keep it set so it doesn't matter. I'll have a Razr Maxx HD here later and I'll compare it too just for curiosities sake. I'm very happy with the G2 screen now especially since I used that tiny nav bar mod.
As for viewing angle, I don't view my phone at an angle and I really don't want people next to me always seeing what I'm typing anyway. I don't WANT a wide angle.
If there are complaints to be had about the G2, believe me, the display ain't one of em. She's drop dead gorgeous.

Preorders up today as well.
Unboxing vid. Looks like they went with a nicer packaging this time.
VS. an iPhone 6 vid
VS. the Z5 Compact vid
i have bought yesterday the white x compact. unfortunately its a bit larger than the z3c. well im a bit disappointed but not because of the sd 650. the performance is quite good. its definately responsive and quick for a compact. but the bezel on the bottom is bigger than at the top. looks like a design fail. vibration motor is veeery strange imo. at start you dont feel him when typing but the faster you type the more the motor is vibrating. this behavior is very hard to accept. maybe for some people a minor thing but for me when i got used to my z3c this not ok. the whole left side beside the display has a gap between display and frame. on the right side there is no gap. dust and dirt wil again find a nice place there. this was the reason why i have replaced my white z3c with a black one after the motherboard was dead on the white one. it seems sony has not learned from their mistakes. fingerprint button has also gaps and looks like a bit deplaced but works very well. on the back side there you have gaps on top and bottom. i really do not understand sony. this phone costs 450€ and it seems they have no QA before packaging. camerawise i can see some improvements. focus is much faster than z3c. but the camera quality nowhere comparable to a galaxy s7. its ok but not that i would say wow. front cam is better than z3c. no softskin blur effect more but when it gets dark the front cam is not very good. generally i was expecting more from sonys camera system.
the best thing at this phone is the display. the black values and color reproduction is very good. looks like amoled but is probably a very good ips. but i think its displaying to much red. adjusting whitebalance helps. generally much better than z3c. due to the 2D glass curves it seems that display is almost printed regardless the 720p.
but there is also somehting that is causing me headache with the display. it seems that due to the curved glas the letter "P" is sometimes not very responsive. especially if you are trying to hit the letter from the right side throught the curved area of the display. from top no prob but from the side its sometimes not reacting. tested with google keyboard.
loudspeakers are a bit louder probably due to the lack of water resistance. they sound better.
the phone goes back as i have got massively used to have root. i'm still on kitkat with root and xposed and several changes through xposed. loosing all this to a non perfect phone makes no sense for 450€.
the biggest problem is that there are no smartphones at 4,6inch with good quality anymore. i was even thinking about iphone but no thanks. i dont want to be a slave of itunes and pay more than 750€ for a phone. SE is too small. z5c is overheating, bulky & too rectangle. A3 2016 is 4,7inch and therefor longer. could be ok. BUT it has no fuc*** notification LED. major fail by samsung as this is inacceptable in 2016. but generally the build quality by samsung has raised. the galaxy s7 in a size of 4,6inch would be perfect. im remembering the times with my galaxy s1. fantastic phone and it was undestroyable. well if you have any questions you can ask me until i have still the phone. currently im thinking of testing an s7. but i hate to to do strange things with my thumb just to be able to reach the back button on the bottom of the phone. the s4 mini was perfect size.
So you are returning the phone?
I will give this phone a try but your build quality comments concern me. I should have it this week, so I'm hoping I get a good one. Does the plastic, glossy shell feel as cheap as it looks?
True, it's sad that these phones are the only game in the 4.6" size. I kinda don't consider the 4.6" iPhone in this size class because its just as big as a 5" screen phone because of the home button. I'm hoping Samsung comes out with an S7 mini which I would get in a heartbeat.

try it. the plastic glossy shell is not the problem. its nice to look at, looks a bit like ceramic and not so slippery as i thought but the build quality is again not the best. i hate the unsymetric gaps between frame. they just cant place the display equally into the frame. on the black (which is not true black, its more dark blue) you wont see them so much as on the white one.
i was hoping for a s7mini but it seems that samsung has changed the mini series into the A3 line which is really sad unfortunately in the stores theres always the anti thief thing on the back which prevents to get true feeling of the normal S7. i need to test if a S7 would somehow be operational with one hand for me. but i dont think so. :/
the display of my z3c is peeling of on the top left edge which was the reason iw as looking for a different phone. i need to repair this. sony would need to much time for this.

i hope, root is just a question of time. i hope very soon. can't wait for it to make all my customisations i am used to.
i found a way posted here but its written so weird. i dont know if its reliable.
http://www.sadroid.com/root-sony-xperia-x-compact-5-minutes/
the individual vibration is the same. the often and quicker you are pressing a button the more the motor of the vibrator gets crazy. sound like a bee on Speed.
You must try to press the letter p probably from the right side. a bit through the curved glass. the galaxy s7 and z3 compact touchscreen is much more responsive and sensitive. for me it was often not reacting when i was not thinking to touch more precisely in the middle of the letter P. maybe a defect on my device but i think the whole touchscreen production will be affected by this. i have tested the Xperia X and it has the same behavior. i will have to test another device in store if this is the case there as well.
this website is untrusted. dont download anything from that. you will get a virus. nothing else. when a root is availbale someone will for sure post it here first. but i doubt that it will be soon. x compact has not the best specs. all the famous and talented devs have other phones currently. xxz0o was the person that developed a root for z3c after half a year i think.
ok. now i found the issue with the vibration. your duration seems to be set pretty long. i set it to 35ms and that works absolutely fine. but if you set it to f.e. 60ms you have that issue. but why would you like to have it that long?
i mean its obvious that it can be a prob. if your next press is in the range of the 60ms there is no other way for the phone to vibrate permanently. are other phones adjusting the vibration if you press faster than the setted duration?
but i am a slow writer. maybe i will never understand that problem. i just found that issue while pressing complete randomly on the keyboard. i could never write that fast.
jeah, as i thaught. the page is very weird. i would also only try a root from a page i know pretty good.
ohh. half a year? thats sad. but hope never dies.
i like the phone. maybe there are some others

The S7 mini would be perfect, but it will never be created. The S7 is about the same size as the iPhone 6, so if any of your friends have one, just try using it and you'll quickly realize how much harder it is to reach the top of the phone with your thumb. I'm sticking with my Z3C for another year to see if anyone (not just Sony) releases a 4.5-4.7" flagship device. The XC just doesn't meet my expectations for an "upgrade".

The AndroidCentral Review is up, one note the lack of a fingerprint scanner is US only, the rest of the world has the fingerprint scanner available!
http://m.androidcentral.com/sony-xperia-x-compact
All of these first reviews to be released seem to be very shallow in depth. They don't go into any real analysis of the phone and use very general statements to describe the user experience. In fact, these read more like unboxings than actual reviews. There's a lot of talk about what the phone looks like, the specs it comes with, and way too much of it sounds like they're reading a press release. If I was in the market for a new device. I'd wait another month for real reviews to be released.

I sure do not have those build quality issues. gaps?! display is dead flush, heck everything is. I am very impressed with the build quality, very sturdy. I do not have trouble with coming in from the right and typing 'p' either, but if you display is not flush it would probably influence it. I am more than sure you were unlucky and got a bad apple (heh). as for the key vibration issue; if you type faster than the vibration delay is set, you are of cause going to have it vibrate all the time while typing, odd btw that you guys was set to 60ms mine was set to 25ms as default.
Hey everyone, just wanted some feedback regarding an issue I began having this week with my X Compact.
Issue: The phone is not as responsive during the unlocking process as it once was. I used to simply swipe to unlock and the phone would immediately unlock with a simple swiping motion. Now, the phone requires a harder swipe before it unlocks.
Any ideas?

Considering an upgrade from v20 (got some Qs)

I really fancy LG phones especially post v10/g4 fiasco. I am debating upgrading between two devices. The Note 8 and v30. Had the Pixel 2 had expandable memory and a headphone jack I would have picked it against all others since they get the latest updates the quickest.
My v30 concerns are the following:
- glass back (what a stupid design, whats the point when you are going to wear a case that hides it anyway?), how is it holding up on this phone? Can it take falls?
- camera quality vs v20, better? Same? Worse? I am more concerned about the rear camera not the selfie camera but want to hear about both.
- the big one, battery life. Since I am going to have to give up one of the best features of LGs previous phones does this phone last all day with Bluetooth connected and playing music? I like the v20 cause I've got an extended battery so I don't have to worry about stupid mid day charges.
- "secondary screen" replacement software. Does it work as well as the real thing or is it just a pain in the ass? This is specifically for the folks that used the second screen on the previous generations.
.. And finally those who've upgraded from the v20 would you do it again? What's the pros and cons between the two?
Thanks for any input! [emoji2]

I upgraded from a V20 to a V30. The selfie cam is definitely worse, but the rear camera is at least as good if not better.
I find the battery life to be nothing short of stellar on the V30. Yesterday I had 17 hours off the charger, with 5 hours of screen on time when the battery hit 15%.
It seems to be pretty tough for a glass phone, but it's absolutely more fragile than the V20. I highly recommend using a case. I had a few minor drops without one and the metal edges will get dinged or scratched if it hits there in a drop. A few people have reported breaking the glass on the back, as well.
The floating bar in combination with the always on display is a decent replacement for the second screen, but I personally don't like having the arrow button on screen all the time.
The thing that I miss the most is the IR blaster for controlling my TV and sound bar, actually. I also think I slightly prefer the 16:9 aspect ratio of the V20's screen. Videos appear larger than they do on the 2:1 screen of the V30. The V30's OLED definitely blows the V20 LCD away, even if it's not as nice as a Samsung display might be, however.
Overall, I'm really happy with the phone and I'd upgrade again. It feels an entire age more modern to use this phone. The biggest change I noticed was the speed. Opening apps and multitasking and doing everything happens noticably quicker.
Oh yeah, and I still can't get over how dang lightweight and easy to hold the V30 is. It really did feel insubstantial at first, but I don't think I could go back after getting used to it.
I came from the v10 to the V20 to the s8 less than a month (HATED IT!) And now to the V30.
Love it all around except for the front camera which seems like it went from a great camera to an average one.
I absolutely loved the 2nd screen on my V20. But it's not a deal breaker not having it. The floating bar thing is annoying to me.
It's also faster, it seems. Better looking phone. I hate glass casing around phones but I always have a tech21 case so meh
Screen is awesome on the V30. Much improvement. However, I'd like the 16x9 ratio back as well but you wouldn't notice if someone didn't tell you.
Battery seems great now, but it's too new to tell how the battery degrades over time. I was having to charge my V20 2 or 3 times a day.
This is also the first device I've ever ran without root, adguard is the gift of that.
I miss the ir blaster somewhat. Overall, you'd be very happy if you went from the 20 to the 30

Is the G6 the end of "notchless" flagships?

The news is that the leading manufacturers including LG are moving to notched screens.
I think the G6 screen is perfect as is. IMHO the notch is stupid and will be a passing gimmick
Let's hear people's opinions

Good thing that I won't buy a new smartphone for another ~2 years so I will miss this "trend".
The seeming motivation for the notch is being able to have an edge to edge screen. Firstly, that in itself is just a gimmick, a style like high heels. Screens are big enough and devices are small enough for people. Who care about an extra 3mm of screen? Second, the notch ruins the screen. For all intents and purposes, the "wings" on the side of the notch are useless except for icons. If you view anything else full screen you either need a black band to keep the rectangular image, or some of the image gets blocked by the notch.
What blockhead thought of this???
And that's not even touching the subject of why a sane person would pay Apple 1200 dollars for a cellphone, which they're replace with the next gimmick in 2 years. But that's not the subject here...
I don't mind the notch myself, probably because I don't use my phone for much full-screen stuff. I do prefer the small one of the Essential though.
I am sure manufacturers are working hard on ways to maximize screen-to-body ratio (which is a real consumer desire even though not everyone cares about it) without needing notches and in a few years they will be as common as physical keyboards (and I also think, despite the current outcry, that wired headphone jacks will soon seem quaint and not too long after that, so will wired charging).
In the meantime, while I'm sure there will be many notch-free designs, there will also be many notched ones and general consumers will buy them as long as they come from Samsung and Apple or look like they do.
Personally I could completely live without a front-facing camera, which would reduce the notch problem a lot, but I think that one is around forever.
Just a gimmick to copy the iphone. I absolutely hated the huge bezels on my Nexus 6P but the bezels on my G6 don't bother me at all.
Gimmicks. Gimmicks all around.
Hopefully this G6 lasts me until the notch trend dies off.
small bezels are the way to go imho. It depends on what we use our devices for, but as long as a lot of media has certain standard formats, it makes sense that our screens have that format too..
To my eyes balance and symmetry are important for good visual design. Notches destroy that completely.. It might look ok with a UI that is specifically designed around those notches. But as soon as you watch something on youtube it becomes awkward, same goes for 18:9 aspect ratio btw.
What really astonishes me though, is the fact that android manufacturers now start to copy that FLAW of the essential phone/iphone X. It's totally obvious that Apple wanted to make a all-screen phone and they FAILED. They had to compromise and settled for an awkward solution with the notch. Nobody buys the iphone X because of the notch... You accept and live with it because the rest is great. Nobody will look at the Huawei P20 or LG G7 and say: "wow that notch. I need that." (same goes for headphone jack btw)
I bought the a G6 a few weeks ago because my 2 year old Huawei P9 broke and i got a good deal. The G6 is already a year old but design wise it's still one of the best phones out there imho. Everything else has become really awkward with notches, rounded edges, missing features, bad materials... It's a mess. I just hope people will vote with their wallet - it's the only way the companies will realize that what they're trying to sell is not what people want.
Maybe there's hope https://www.xda-developers.com/lg-v35-6-inch-oled-display-without-display-notch/

I actually don't mind bezels, at least not on the top and bottom, and I think the Nexus 6p is still a beautiful phone today. Anyone else agree?

Finger print magnet?

Just purchased the S9 + and the first thing i notice is the screen is a huge finger print magnet which to some might be expected. However, Iam coming from an Iphone X (which Samsung made the screen) and its far better at hiding your finger prints!
Seems strange that Samsung have arguably made a better all around display for the opposition then they did for their own flagship!
I don't notice the S9+ screen to be particularly bad in terms of fingerprints. The back, for sure, but not the screen. No worse than any other phone I've used.

I guess its not that bad but when compared to my iphone x . The Iphone def comes out on top! Its just way superior at hiding fingerprints! I actually had no idea how good it was ay hiding them until i used the s9! I have also noticed that the Iphone display looks better under sun light / day time in general! The samsung screen is glossy and shows reflections more making the display just a tad more difficult to enjoy under sun light then the iphone!
Iam astonished that the s9 display is considered better then the iphones to be honest! Even video playback on the iphone x is better!
To each his own. I have no problem using the S9+ in bright sunlight, no issues with fingerprints and videos look great. You do know that Samsung makes the iPHone X screen, right? Same technology.

Yeah iam aware of that! Thats why iam slightly surprised! The S9 display is great! Its just that it has a more glossy finish compared to the iphone x so my own experience has been that the iphone x hides fingerprints a little better and performs a little better under sun light also!
I just looked really hard at my S9+ (which I've used all morning), and I can't see anything that looks like a fingerprint no matter what angle I look at it in the light. In fact I deliberately mashed my finger on the screen, and couldn't see a print left from that either. Maybe my fingers have dried out .

Even under light? Thats nuts! I see lots on mine! Its no worse then most devices. I just personally found the iphone x to handle things a little better which surprised me as the display is made by samsung
Some people have reported the lack of the olephic (or however its spelled) coating being not there or coming off shortly after purchasing the s9/s9+. If you take it to a Samsung store or send it in, they reportedly replace the screen and affected people aren't having problems after that.

Its not a huge issue! I dont think i would send it back and i would doubt there is anything wrong with the coating etc Its actually fine but im just pointing out that the iphone x is def better when it comes to finger prints! The s9 display is alot more glossy / shiny so it reflects everything and under light can make it a little more difficult to read text etc when compared to the iphone x but its a minor enough issue for me personally!
What a troll gtfo
