Spigen Liquid Air Armor case - Razer Phone 2 Accessories

Just a heads up everyone, I tried the Razer Word Case and was unhappy with the coverage/protection so I switched to the Tudia Merge. Better case all around, but it prevented the Razer Wireless Charger from quick charging. It would still charge (usually slowly), but I wanted good protection and quick wireless charging.
The Spigen delivered! Quick charging, good grip, full coverage, and it was a dollar cheaper on Amazon!
This will be what I'm sticking with.

I am not using the wireless charger, but I am also using the liquid air armor case and enjoy it quite well. I was hoping Spigen would release their "rugged armor" style series for this phone (I have used this style on several phones in the past), but I spoke with a rep at Spigen and they indicated they do not have plans to make that series for the RP2 at this time

I'm rocking the same case now. It's kinda great but it didn't stop me from denting the speaker grills but overall protection, it delivers.

Mine is arriving tomorrow.
I have always had spigen cases on my phones ad even after many drops from my daughter no phone has ever been damaged from a fall.
I expect this case to be as good!

I have one. Love it!

Is this bulkier or same size as the Tudia Merge case?

I got this case as well and it's awesome.
Initially I bought the Razer carbon fiber case, despite many reviews saying not to, and that thing was awful! It felt like paper, not very protective, and was more slippery than the phone!

Got this case as well. Not bulky at all in my opinion, and the case feels solidly good. the buttons are easy to press. would have liked to see a kickstand. no regrets!

+1.. I originally wanted the Razer case, but at ~$45, I wasn't about to spend that much. Went with the Spigen (looks exactly the same), and haven't looked back. I got it on Amazon for around $14 (IIRC), and it is perfect. Good texture for grip, doesn't impeded button usage at all, and looks really good. I've been kicking around getting the slate grey one on Amazon, but haven't really decided yet.

I had bought some cheap glass for the front and it flexed with the case on the sides, so I ordered a better glass. I ended up using the old glass on the back (in between the back and case) to cover the circle hole to keep the glass from getting etched. Wireless charging still works I think adds some rigidity. The super shieldz glass works best with the case for the front. It butts right up against the sides of the case with, no lifting or flexing of the glass.

If i put the spigen liquid air case on, i don't get fast charging. When i put the phone on the Razer wireless charger with the case on, it first indicates "charging slowly" and then it switches to "charging" but no "charging rapidly" anymore.

I know 40 is alot to spend on a case these days for sure. I do have to say though, that I shelled it out, got the Razer brand case and I honestly think it was well worth it. By far the most protective case you can get for this phone so if peace of mind is big for anyone I def recommend getting that case.

i would definitely buy it but there isn't any cut for the magnetic charger, don't feel like opening the flappy microSD and charger every time for charging.
Slip your Sony Xperia Z2 into this custom fit Matte Back Black TPU Case by Diztronic and experience the peace of mind of knowing your investment is well protected. Flexible, yet stronger and more durable than silicone, TPU offers excellent shock absorption and abrasion resistance while maintaining a thin form factor.
Just bought one
I just ordered a matte black Diztronic case from their website listed by the OP. I haven't even received my new-to-me-but-used Xperia yet, but I'm thinking ahead! I have the same type of Diztronic case on my Nexus 4 and it's been absolutely great for over 1.5 years use, and a handful of good drops. I do wish the cutout was there for the magnetic charger, but I still wanted to see what it was like, maybe even cut that section out by hand if the rest of the case makes it good enough to keep.
Love it, but...

FWIW, after a few months, I love this Diztronic case...except I do dislike taking the phone out of the case to charge in my dock. It's not annoying enough for me to use something else, however, as this case is really perfect fitting, durable, not slippery, and looks nice if you like the matte finish. The other slim case I bought has a cutout for the charging dock, but still doesn't actually fit (with either spacer option). I'd have to 3D print a custom cradle spacer with additional clearance on one side, and that's not worth it. So, alas, I will probably continue to just take it out of the case every night. I will say that since battery life is so good on this phone, I pretty much never have to charge during the day, so never have to open the micro-usb cover, or take the case off to use the magnetic charger adapter (which I usually only use for traveling).
Simple and good~

Cases for Z3V

Figured opening something for this would be useful for everyone. Being that this model has different dimensions from both the Z3 standard and Z2 itll need its own line of cases. Theres apparently a tough case mate on the way and some leather slip cases. Post up what you come across as you go.
I did some research and found out the cases for the Z2 L50h will work for Z3v since the dimensions of the phones are the same.
I've found no evidence to support that.
VZW website has 2 cases up so far. A silicone one and the usual hard case with holster and kickstand.
It appears that Verizon might be stocking a third case in the near future - If you go to the all accessories page (not the cases page) on the Verizon website and and filter by the z3v, there is also a Incipio DualPro for Experia Z3v in purple or black in the list, although it gives a 404 if you try to click on it.
It looks nicer then the other options, so I'm hoping it is released soon.
Update: I can now get to the details page and ad it to a cart, so maybe they are adding the listing this morning.
The incipio is out in stores. I got one when i picked up my phone. Its actually pretty nice.
Do you need to take the phone out of the case for charging wirelessly?
i have the cheapo black case, works fine charging wirelessly. it was like 19 bucks?
Both the incipio and silicone Verizon cases can be left on to charge wirelessly

Unfortunately no.
Your best ones available are pretty much the plain TPU case and the incipio dual from Verizon. I have the plain one, but it does pretty alright for what it does in giving me grip.
Everyone should contact Diztronic and ask them to make a TPU for the Z3v. I've always liked their TPU products.

I have the kickstand holster case and just use the shell. It looks good but the protection isn't the best. It covers the back glass but the top and bottom of the phone are exposed in the middle. Not bad though. Both this case and the plain TPU case I bought work with my Sony 5,000mah wireless portable charger (nice device btw) and the Chloe Qi charger.

They're not TPU cases, they're just plain silicone. I'm waiting for the TPU cases to come out
The Incipio case is the best one out right now.
i had post this on the other thread:
look like theres a new TPU case made from China that looks very interesting
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPU-Skin-Cas...#ht_2017wt_867
There's an otter box defender on otter boxes site. Looks bulky.
I am using the Z2's Trident Aegis case on my Z3v. Fit is just about on point. The opening for the charging port/SIM card is a little off where I can't open the charging port cover to charge. I have to remove it from the case. The cutout where the earphone port is has a gap around the little flap that covers the actual port.
Other than those minor issues, I have been satisfied using this case until a more specific fit case rolls out.

Qi Charging with Several Charger and Case Combinations

Hello all,
Just wanted to convey some findings I've had with some case / Qi combinations.
For cases, I have the Stand Folio Case-Mate case from the Play Store, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, Spigen Neo Hybrid, and Spigen Wallet S.
For chargers, the Nexus Wireless Charger for the Play Store, the Fonesalesman WoodPuck, and the Fonesalesman QiStone+.
My Qi results so far. With no case, the Nexus 6 charges very easily with the QiStone+ with a good deal of allowance in positioning, quite easily with the WoodPuck with some allowance in positioning, and adequately with the Nexus Wireless Charger with a very small zone of tolerable positioning.
The cases, pretty intuitively, seem to rank Ultra Hybrid, Neo Hybrid, Stand Folio, Wallet S in terms of disruption to Qi Charging.
The Nexus Wireless Charger cannot charge the Nexus 6 with any of the cases. With the Ultra Hybrid, I sometimes see a flicker of charge, but it can't be maintained.
The WoodPuck can charge through the Ultra Hybrid decently, the Neo Hybrid with very specific placement, and neither the Stand Folio nor Wallet S.
The QiStone+ can charge well through the Ultra Hybrid, the Neo Hybrid, and the Stand Folio. It can almost get a charge through the Wallet S, but not quite.
Let me summarize my thoughts on the Qi Chargers.
I'm disappointed in the Nexus Wireless Charger. I read a lot of hype, and a lot of claims that it was the "High-End, No-Hold Barred" charger. Unless I got a dud unikt, I really have not been impressed thus far.
The WoodPuck is slightly better, and expects the way I expected the Qi Chargers to perform, charging through reasonable sized cases.
The QiStone+ is a freakin star. I love this product so much. It has an incredible ability to charge without having to be overly precise with placement. Not to mention that it's a battery bank itself and is capable of being charged and charging both via USB or Qi. Outstanding, and highly recommended.
A quick summary of my thoughts on the cases.
The Ultra Hybrid has a decent fit, but not superb. It's buttons are passable, but a tad soft, and not well separated from one another. I'm also convinced that the clear back creates its own fingerprint marks.
The Neo Hybrid fits very nicely (although is tougher getting in and out), has a really nice set of materials (soft touch back, matte plastic frame, and metal buttons), and has buttons nearly as good as the device naked.
The Stand Folio is my favorite of the bunch thus far (disclaimer that I'm coming off a year with a Note 3 in a flip case). The fit of the case is perfect, although I wish the frame wrapped around the entire top and bottom with smaller cutouts. The buttons are excellent, with the same textured power button as the naked device. The leather feels nice, and wraps the case with precision. People are lying to you if they say you can actually put cards in the front without the case being spectacularly awkward looking and feeling (The front cover is nearly thinner than a single card to begin with). I was worried after reading so many critical early reviews of this case, but I think it's very nice.
The Wallet S is going to appeal to particular people. It's much bulkier, but the materials are very nice, and you can definitely store two or three cards in the front without it feeling too weird. I'm really disappointed in the buttons on this case. They're even worse and less distinct than the Ultra Hybrid. The case is less precisely made than the Case-Mate product, and I had to send my first case back because the leather exterior was misaligned with the plastic case. The replacement has hints of the same issue, but is acceptable.
I'm done with cases, but I do have a Tylt Vu Qi Charger on the way. I'll see how that works out when I get it.
Interested if anyone else has experienced similar disappointment with the Nexus Wireless Charger? Also wondering if anyone else has found a Qi Charger strong enough to charge through a dual material case like the Stand Folio the same way I've found the QiStone+ can.
P.S. I had hyper-linked the cases and chargers, but apparently I'm too new to be trusted with that.
I bought the Nexus charger as well, I could barely get it to charge my N6 without a case. Boxed it back up and its sitting unused. Bought a Tylt Vu, through my N6 on it while in a Ringke Fusion and it started to charge no issue.
Got my Tylt Vu in the mail yesterday. It's brilliant. Charges very easily, and really doesn't seem to care about the case. I can even fold the cover on the Stand Folio case back and it will charge through it all. Definitely worth the money spent.
Thanks for the info. I've been on the fence about purchasing a QiStone+ for quite a while... still am. I just had an Aukey Luna dropped of at my door step. Can't wait to see/try it.
i have the choe stadium (charges the qi stone wirelessly and with ease) aukey and qi stone+. the qi stone charges the phone really fast . i have posted a photo of the qi stone in a pouch/sleeve charging the nex 6 in another thread. very good for portability.
the qi stone+ website has 25% off today by the way...
I should add that the Tylt Vu was the only charger I tested able to charge the N6 in the Spigen Wallet S Case.

What Case is everyone going with for their S20 Ultra?

Just wanting to see what all cases everyone is getting for their S20 Ultra. I am debating on getting the UAG Monarch Series case again. Their really good cases and not bulky at all.
I've preordered the Samsung Protective Standing Cover along with the phone.
I've also ordered a Zizo Bolt.
I used to like UAG Monarch, UAG Plasma and Otterbox Symmetry cases, but they offer very little drop protection at the bottom lip, which is loose.
Also thinking of getting the Speck Presidio Grip and Gear4 Battersea.
I work in a factory environment so defender/whitestone all the way...
I'm trying to find one that will a) have built-in magnets for magnetic mounting (want them built-in so there's no bulge from inserting a flat one between the case and the phone so it lies flat on it's back), and b) have those magnets in a place where it minimizes disruption to wireless charging. The only one I was able to find for my S9 was by Pitaka (with their own magnetic mount, which makes sense since the magnets are in a non-standard location), but the case had an issue where the top/bottom/side lips wouldn't extend past the front face to protect the screen from lying flat on it's front on a desk.

Nice- thanks!
Pitaka, since many years, for day to day / office, dBrand Grip case (with custom pitaka plates under the back sticker) as a self made 'Pitaka pro' for days with higher demand for protection.
Using Pitaka in the car daily, so I want that option ti stick it to my magnetic Qi charger in the car.
Latercase for me. Probably the DBrand case and skin also
I'll go with the Spigen Neo Hybrid. Slim enough not to be embarrassing, but offers drop protection. Gone are the days of OB Defender, UAG, etc. Second option would be the SupCase Unicorn Beetle.
I also buy the QuadLock case for the Summer, to use with my bike.
Black leather offical from their site. Although most of the time I don't use a case even though I should. But given the hefty price tag it probably will be wise to keep it on

The (Samsung) black leather case was nice from the S10+ series. Got an open box from Best Buy for $29 in perfect condition although the package looked like Flossy opened it! LOL. The silicone IMO was junk!
The rugged (Samsung) case is great, the kickstand comes in handy. I have one on my S10 5G and Note 10+ and will be picking one up for the S20U.
I may splurge and get the Pitaka for the S20U as the pics I've seen with the phone in it just look plain sick!
I'm gonna start with the Caseology Parallax and Spigen Neo Hybrid for now. Got them both on the way!
Spigen Rugged Armor, already in hand lol
Been using S-view cover on N10+ since September, it does great screen protection job, don't want anything else for my S20 Ultra. Scratch protection 24/7 and a piece of mind when the phone is being put into or taken out of jacket or pant's pockets. My N+10 screen still has a 'mint' looks even after 6 months of use w/o any protective film, I peeled that off right after getting it.

Got my shipping notification today as well. Ordered the MagEZ and dashboard mount wireless charger. Are you in the US? How long do you think it will take to deliver?
Shipping notice on DHL site updated w Tuesday (4/7) delivery now.
They're really quick with shipping. Have ordered several of their products. I'm in Canada, my case should come this week.
When did you order?
I ordered Monday night and the web site indicated that it would ship the next day.
Here it is Thursday afternoon and I have not received any notification. Clicking on the order link in the original email just shows the same thing: order received. Do they ship from China?
Thinking of cancelling TBH.
Yes they ship from China. You should get something soon. But reach out to their support team in case. They're very responsive and helpful usually.

I haven't noticed any issues so far!
I am waiting for carrier to pickup. Got tracking number ,but not picked up yet
So got my MagEZ and the wireless charger dash mount. Did not expect the metal plates to be so low on the phone body - I guess that's how they don't block the wireless charging coil.
I'm actually more disappointed in the lack of screen coverage. The sides of the phone are the most exposed in this case then any other case I've tried but worst is the lack of lip on the top of bottom. On every other case I've tried, there is at least some gap when I turn it face down on the table - with this case on, this is pretty much laying down flush on the screen itself.
Got my MagEZ today, finally nearly two weeks after ordering. USPS isn't the greatest for sure!
It's a good case. Definitely NOT for protection. I mean it will provide more protection than nothing. In hand it feels nice. The presentation is also good. As in you can tell it's not an Otterbox!
If one want's thinner they'd have to skin their phone. There's something about a naked phone, dunno, the edges feel weird like I'm going to drop it in an instant. It's weird because before the days of non removable batteries it actually didn't feel "wrong" rocking a naked phone...

So that is a latercase, no Pitaka with metal plates (and still wirelessly charging).
I like the latercases rim being bent upwards but they are missing the metal plates.
Also, I do not like the manufacturers actions around Pitaka and would therefore, personally, not buy from them. But that is my personal opinion only.

Agreed. Latercase straight up ripped Pitaka off and just because he has a bigger audience felt he could get away with it.
I got the Pitaka Mag case as well. This is my 3rd Pitaka case. Had this on my s8 and s10 before. This model seems to fit lower on the sides than previous models and the cutout for the charging port is wide open this year. Not sure why. This is still my favorite case because it's strong, super thin, and metal plates for car mount.

It's open at the bottom because to close it there would be a very thin strip that would be rather flimsy. Still far better than having the entire bottom open.
My only gripe about this case is how hard it is to take off! But once it's on, it's very solid and doesn't feel like it's peeling away or falling off when you grab the edges like most thin TPU style cases.
I have to say that it is perfect, IMO. I am using Pitaka since the S8 and they are always in a class of their own. I tried like 100 cases over the years and I have settled to this:
- Pitaka Mag Case for daily, normal use. This is the best for me.
- "Self made" Pitaka Pro case (more sturdy) using a dbrand grip case and placing the Pitaka metal plates in the right places under the back skin, salvaged from an old Pitaka case (destructive). This is the sturdy case, still offering magnetic attachment and wireless charging.

Good idea! I wish they would make the procase for Galaxy phones. I too use the MagEz case as my daily and now using the Ringke Fusion X as my rugged case when needed. Last year I tried those O shaped metal rings attached to the back of a Tech 21 but it still didn't quite line up with the car mount. I thought about getting the plates from a previous case but luckily been able to resell them for close to 50% value.
