Can't find 4k and 1080p 60fps modes in camera after pie update - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
as the title suggests there is no option for recording at those resolutions.
Any ideas?

They are still there; select 'resolution' in settings/video - rear video size

Thing is that you can do it only for the first option.
Is there any way to do it for the others?

It doesn't look like, sorry. Only the 16:9 resolution has the option.

Youtube in HDR - again

hi, i know there is topic about using HDR in YT. But, if you don't see HDR option in YT quality settings, check your screen resolution in phone settings- it only works in WQHD+

If YOU know there's already a topic about this subject, WHY starting this new one?
There is no info about that issue
actually you are wrong, with all due respect.
this was discussed many months ago.

Then you could have added that info yourself in the original thread.
My mistake
Thanks for this thread, I didn't even realise our phone has HDR till I saw this. Works for me and its similar to my 4k TV in colour

AI Color Mode (photos)

I recently updated to 9.0.0.206 and expected to see the AI Color Mode for photos which should be there since .195:
https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-mate-20-pro-mate-20-x-ai-color-mode-photos/
However, I don't seem to find it anywhere in the camera app. Did someone have more luck?

Just to clarify - I'm not talking about AI color in video, that's there and working for quite some time now, but specifically, since 9.0.0.195 the same capability should work also for taking photos (as per the XDA link in opening post)

Thank you, I wasn't aware that you can take picture while recording! However, when you do it, the photo taken doesn't have the AI colors, it's just regular photo as I just tried
waited feature worried now
im on .187 firmware c432 from Portugal
i have heard of this ai photo feature and i was waiting for it because i think it would be amazing.
i read what ai photo is in i was expecting this in .195 firmware.
if OP does not have this feature what does this mean?
is this a asian feature only?
is the feature in more like macro mode and OP havent seen this?
im fallowing this
You can simulate this by taking a photo in aperture mode, view the photo in the gallery app, click on the aperture icon then select filters then mono. Sets the background to B/W and the main focus image stays colour.

Found perfectly running Pixel camera for Zenfone 5z

Recommended settings
1) Go - about - enable - advance settings - disable Google photo
Then you can disable the advanced settings.
2) select nexus 2 as front camera
3) In settings, you can enable motion shots like pixel devices... it will show a normal photo in gallery appp but from Google photo app, you can select a best shot from the motion shot
What's different from other gcams? Latest version of BSG is also working without any issues. Is picture quality better than BSG?

Can you share the link... This is a first gcam which is working perfectly on my Zenfone 5z
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/MGC_6.2.030_MI9SE_V0d.apk
Thank you for this version. This is the first gcam version 6.2 something that I've tried that doesn't have any focus hunting issues in video. The other versions I've tried had focus hunting and the auto focus was very slow. Somehow they affected the stock cameras video foucs too. This version doesn't. Much appreciated
It would be perfect if it had wide angle support

Do I need to adjust any settings once I install this? Or can I just install and use it?
I am using with default settings
You can try changing according to your needs.

How to record 60fps at 720p?

The option for 60fps is available for both 1080p and even 4k, but not for 720p for some reason.
How do i record at 720p 60fps?
there is none. Stop looking and just use 1080p.

1080p takes too much space. Is there any camera app or modification that can do [email protected]? 30fps is too "slow".

Open Camera is probably the best option
Enormously customisable - allows very low res pics and videos, if that's your thing

Tried it, but it records 30fps at 720p even when 60fps is selected. I am rooted so open to system modification
same with me here.... searching for same answer 720p60fps
There are some gcams that support this. Unfortunately there's still no eis at 60fps even at 720p
