MT6582 chipset phone dosent boot after flashing with sptool - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
My friends oppo neo 5 went into bootloop and we decided to flash stock rom to solve it. We had done the same previously and it worked without any problems. This time after initially flashing it stayed on the boot screen itself and we decided to flash again but this time instead of download on the sptool, we used firmware upgrade and after flashing, the phone wont boot up. when we try to power it on it vibrates for 2-3 seconds and then continues to vibrate after an interval. The phone is detected in device manager when its plugged in to the pc as mediatek usb port and mediatek da usb vcom. The phone is detected in sptool and we are able to flash and it gives the green tick, but there is no use as the phone wont boot up.

BROM ERROR on sp flash tools, HELP!

i have a tecno f8 device, it has MT6589 processor. The phone hanged one time and i forced restart it holding down the power button for about 10secs, unfortunately when the phone restarts, it kept coming on and off, and here is where i think i bricked the phone, the phone's battery was at 10%..i pulled the battery and loaded the cmw recovery plugged in the charger, and i tried reflashing my custom rom (miui v5).. the rom installed completely.. then i went to 'reboot now' from the cmw menu options, and then my phone refused to come on, its just dead, led light wont even come on if i plug the charger, and i cant boot into recovery.
i have been to a number of android developmental blogs trying to solve this issue, i even download the stock firmware and i tried flashing with sp flash tools, but i keep getting various brom errors, the 3149, 5069 no space errors.
can anyone pls help me get my phone back on?

[Q] MTK-6572 Startup Problem

I have a Symphony W85 MTK-6572...
I recently installed a Custom ROM after which my Phone turns off instantly on the Boot Screen... I can still enter the recovery mode and have tried a lot of ROMs which previously worked on my phone... But now the phone turns off instantly after the boot screen appears...
Finally, I downloaded the correct Stock ROM and tried to flash using SP Flash Tool...
I removed the battery, SD card, sim card, then connected the phone by holding on the vol (+) button, the phone connects and disconnects instantly from the USB port... The MT-65xx Preloader appears and then disappears instantly in the Device Manager... So I cannot install the Stock ROM also...
Please, I am in desperate need help regarding this issue...

BLU Energy X [HARD BRICKED] - After Flashing Stock ROM

Hi, I have the BLU Energy X, and I had flashed some ZIP mods via TWRP. I decided that I didn't want them, and read somewhere that I had to flash my phone using the stock ROM. I used the ROM from NeedRom here: needrom[.com]/ download/ blu-energy-x-e010q which should be the correct one for my phone. It also shows the . I installed proper drivers and flashed using smartphone flash tool. It completed, and I unplugged my phone and pressed the power button. Nothing happened. No combination of power and volume buttons turn this phone on. I have tried flashing again, and I got the error "BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (0xFC0)". My phone does show up in Device Manager when I plug it in, as USB Serial Device (COM6) under the Ports category. Sometimes it will go in a loop of SHowing up then 3-5 seconds disconnecting from PC, then connecting again. Before I flashed I used the format option because I was getting an error, and that was the fix for it. The flash completed successfully. I did not touch the device while it was flashing, or the USB cable. I'm in grade 8 and I get a really allowance, so I couldn't buy this phone for about 8-10 months again, and I really want to avoid that. I am/was rooted, if that helps. Thanks everyone here in advance, and I really hope you guys know how to fix this! Thanks alot

No boot on P9000

Hi All,
I have a P9000 it was running a custom ROM with TWRP. I decided to factory reset from with in Android to start fresh but it then went in to a reboot loop, always booting into TWRP recovery. After this I tried reinstalling the ROM, which didn't work. So then i decided to upgrade TWRP which must have failed...
Now i have just a continually rebooting phone with the Elephone logo.
While plugged into my computer upon reboot i get the VCOM device popup for a few seconds, however the USB device is malfunctioning, "The USB device returned an invalid serial number string descriptor." So i am unable to get SP Tools to connect to drop a stock image on it.
Holding power up or down and the power button just cause it to reboot faster.
I'm assuming its done for, but if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thanks
no boot on p9000
Worth a try:
power off, start sp tools flash (stock rom 6), connect to computer and then hold power off and volume up until you get a response from sp (can take a couple of reboots)-> realease buttons and flash.
Worth a try. Might take 2 or 3 trys. I managed to revive my p9000 in this way. I didn't have your vcom problem - not my thing but installing drivers again might help?
sp flash tools: v5.1152 ; stock 6.0: 20160810.
Good luck.
