This is my first Oppo and at this stage my last.
I cannot believe the company does not release any info to developers.
The is nothing, nada on the net regarding customising this phone.
Back to OnePlus I guess.....
I don't think. Oppo block all and don't support developers. With Color OS 7 (Android 10) they removed mtk engineering tools and replaced with theirs test and logging tools (useless)...

I've noticed that the highest Android version from Oppo for the R9s Plus is Android 6 (with June 2018 patches). Is there any ROM that is Android 7, 8 or even 9? I'd like to give it a go on this CPH1611 that I got given today!

I have two OPPO phones, Reno 2 and Reno 2F, I've received the Color OS 7 update successfully for the OPPO Reno 2, but unfortunately for Reno 2F there is no update available. Otherwise, the trial version quota has finished so I can't apply for it anymore.
- Is there anyway to download the update to install it manually?
- At what time the update will be available officially?

I am unable to find a custom ROM specifically for Oppo A5s. My Oppo A5s is data sim locked. This means that it can use dual SIM like an open line but can only use data service from a specific carrier (SIM) . So I was thinking if I can just Treble this phone and this restriction will be removed.
So my question is can Oppo A5s be Trebeled. It's Android 8.1.

What is the legacy version? Does this mean I cannot use Resurrection or Lineage?
No point in any of this if you can't even unlock the bootloader of the device.

Oppo a5s and oppo a12 are the same right? They only differ on software because oppo a12 uses android 10 and oppo a5s is just 8.1. Is it possible to flash the oppo a12 rom into the oppo a5s? Since are they same in terms of hardware specifications?
