Using this Redmi Note 10, Stock MIUI 12.5.4, Root, Viper Installed but I set it to non-active,
When I try to record the video call (using WhatsApp and also Viber), using the stock ScreenRecorder App, I only can record the video & my part of audio, the audio of the person who's talking with me cannot be recorded, or sometime even both are not recorded.. only the video.
I have tried setting the Sound Source (the audio to be recorded) to Mic and also System. Neither were successful.
Would anyone explain how to do that properly?
Record (the video AND also the video of both party in the) video call, using stock ScreenRecorder app or anything else.
I have tried AZ Recorder and Mobizen apps, with similar result.

Hello all,
I have a problem with my new SGS2 and could not find anywhere a solution for this. When I record a video there is no sound recorded also, only the image... In the camera application there is no option for enable/disable this feature like in the SGS1. Anyone had a similar problem?

No!!! I don't want to record videos without sound... who would want this? My SGS2 does NOT RECORD VIDEOS WITH SOUND!!! I mention that when I use an application to record only voice it works, so it's not the microphone...
Oh! For me it's exactly the opposite. I sometimes will like to record a Video without Audio. But I just can't find an option to do that. It always records Audio with a video

very faint audio when recording video
I have a Galaxy S2 purchased for Bell, rooted with KG2 kernel, and unlocked for Rogers. When I record video using the stock Camera app, the sound is *very* faint. The mic works fine when making a call or when recording audio with an app like Voice Recorder. I didn't try making a video before rooting, so I don't know if that is related. I tried lgCamera and had the same problem.
Any suggestions for what could be wrong?

I'm on ATT HTC One with latest Cyanogen 10.2 mod. Anyone know why when I'm recording a video the sound recording is soooo low? When I use the phone's sound recorder it's fine so it seems like it's the movie camera app at fault. Any alternative apps? Thanks in advance.

I am looking for screen recording app. I tried many apps but everyone is recording sound from microphone (with speaker sounds and everything which is all around me). Is there any app which is recording basic sound coming from speaker (without using mic)?

AZ Screen Recorder (used mic to record)
Lollipop Screen Recorder (used mic to record)
Screen Recorder by NLL (wouldn't work)
I am looking for the exact same thing that you are looking for...
An app that can record screen on Lollipop that records the sound right from the app just like it records the screen... that will also (if possible) record the Media sound even when the media volume is turned all the way down so I can still use the mic to record voice over the app (but still have the ability to turn off mic recording and still have media sound recording) with no video limit/absolutely free

On MIUI, ACR from NLL was working well for me in VOICE_CALL mode (= capturing both uplink and downlink)
On LineageOS & variations, VOICE_CALL is not working, auto mode only captures microphone not hearing the remote speaker, the other method also don't capture everething.
Has anyone experience with another call recorder app, capturing all audio? I'm on RR now.

As in OP, I use ACR(Premium) and it doesnot capture everything. Can you post your recording configuration?

how can I record a video conversation with my Hwuwei mate 10 (massenger, whatsapp, viber...)
I tried the integrated software and other software in playstore but always i have the same problem, the video is recorded without voice!
same here on xiaomi mi 9
as soon as the video call starts ringing the audio is muted on the recording, and its comming back only after the call is ended.
is this an android restriction? whatsapp restriction? is there a way to fix it with root or anything?
i tried both internal and microphone sound, 5 different applications.
