Question unlock and root method for Realme GT2 master explorer SD 8+Gen 1 - Realme GT 2 Pro

just enable developpers options and then enable oen unlock and usb debugging after that download the in depth test apk for rui3 and submit your application and then click on check the status and click on start deep testing go to your pc head to the adb folder and open a command with fastboot falshing unlock hit enter and confirm the unlocking on your device after that the device will perform a wipe data so backup all your data before , once finished with unlocking the boot loader i will attach you the patched boot img here for the latest fw A20 , then go back to fastboot mode and type fastboot flash boot ''the file attached name''
i also managed to flash the safetynet module and also made google app and playstore system to get all the gms features including google assistant with ok google which was missing
enjoy my friends

Just wondering why is this here...

Coz there is no gt 2 master explorer section and if maybe someone is looking for it, knowing that im the first one to unlock it, i mzde a post on 4pda too

Why are in question section ??

Thank you so much mate!
Finally I'm able to get charging to stop at 80% and okay Google and Google pay and a steaming service to work.
[Edit]
This method isn't working, "fastboot flashing unlock" just sits on <waiting for any device>

Nice thread! I'm still waiting for the Europe or Global ROM...maybe someday will arrive

sorry ,, the for the useless google drive broken links ,, i will update the links now
I updated all,,links now u see
This is fantastic. I'm using the t-mobile version. It's excellent, but I'm having a problem with wifi. Does anyone have any recommendations?
change ur wifi region in router webpage to north america and see
i tested this,, this both zips 5 to 6 times ,,but there is no problem for me ,,
go to ur router webpage ,,,and change ur wifi region to north america ,,and then ur phone will start detecting ur region
even i use to change my wifi region in router page to north america,,the my wifi started working
u follow this link here for ur problem :- https://youtu.be/IJ6Vj9_S4QE
So, i was working on an lg k7 and was told to remove the factory reset protection. Which that is apart of the set up wizard for lg so I removed that. Yes it was rooted. But, when I rebooted the device It said security error, authentication error #9 (modification). Ok, so I researched and it is fixable, but the lg download tool will not find the device. The download driver screen goes to 100% and I left it there for a couple hours and theres nothing. and the same exit button remains. I have tried the kdz download and that didnt work either. tried odin or twrp, which twrp is already on the device, but I cannot access anything. Any help with this? been working on it for weeks and its nothing but a head ache.
one thing u did completely wrong process,, setup wizard is a part of LG OS ,,IF U REMOVE IT WILL BREAK UR OS
THE MAIN REASON WHY YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO BOOT INTO RECOVERY IS THIS ONE :- [KERNEL/RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING] ON BOOT ,, IF U REMOVE IT FROM BOOT IMG ,THEN IT WILL MAKE U TO BOOT INTO RECOVERY,, AS IT WILL PROTECT U TO BOOT INTO CUSTOM TWRP RECOVERY ,,SO ULTIMATELY U NEED ONE [KERNEL/RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING] ON BOOT ,,REMOVED BOOT IMG
So, how do I obtain that one kernal/recovery and flash it on that phone?
Thank you for the quick and detailed reply.
My router is set up correctly.
I also have two identical LG K7 devices. The only difference is that one has your rom and the other is rooted stock.
The one without your rom can connect to Wifi with no issue.
The other one cannot. I enable Wifi and it hangs, as does Bluetooth. The Wifi Icon flashes consistently. Bluetooth just gives an error and goes off.
I believe that another member is having a similar issue, as posted here.
First of all ,,u unlock it boot loader ,,,boot up it android
Go to settings
,,after that go to software info
,,then after go to about phone, and,, Tap the build number until u see you are a developer message
Get into developer options now
Then enable USB debbuging and OEM unlock
Then download Android SDK platform tools
After that open a command windows ,,on the directory where u extracted adb ,,now type adb devices ,,,u will get one pop up like allow RSA key in it phone,,u just allow it,,
Now type command :- adb reboot bootloader
After that it will reboot bootloader,,note bootloader unlock commands are present on the display of the mobile
Note if it device does not support bootloader unlock ,,then it will not allow ur phone into bootloader
After that root ur phone with kingroot or kingroot
Then use flashify to flah twrp

Redmi Note 5A Prime IMEI Lost, Bootloader Locked, Open diag failed.. HELP!!!

My Redmi Note 5A Prime came with unlocked bootloader with a fake rom. so I flashed official developer fastboot rom. After that my IMEI broke and bootloader locked. Unable to open diag mode. Unable to add MI Account on the phone. I search the internet but sadly couldn't find anything. what I have found needs unlocked bootloader. Can anyone please help me to unlock the bootloader?
You have to apply here: http://en.miui.com/unlock/ in order to unlock your bootloader (can take a bit to get verified)
In addition add the phone number you apply with to your mi clound & login to your mi account on your phone.
Download the software for windows --> login --> connect your phone via fastboot --> hit unlock.
If it still does not work, please go ahead and flash the latest china developer rom on your phone and try everything again.
Good luck and please tell me if it worked
you can unlock unofficial bootloader with edl mode:

Thanks a lot for this solution ada12, it looks promissing.
I suppose that what they mean on your link by "REBOOT YOUR PHONE TO EDL MODE ( Testpoint )" is that i need to unmount the phone like in this video, right?
I havn't tried the hardware method yet, and when I try to use myflash with what is in RNote5_unlock.zip it says it cannot find the file flash_all.bat. So I tried different things:
- used the bach scripts contained in ugglite_global_images_8.4.12_20180412.0000.00_7.1_global but it fails saying cannot find the file tz.mbn... for sure it's not there
- added what was in the zip to the folder ugglite_global_images_8.4.12_20180412.0000.00_7.1_global but then i get the same error that i have been getting for the past several hours "Flash tz error" in mi flash...
What am I doing wrong?
Today, when I try to access the thread on the miui forum i get this error message :/
Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this thread.

I had the same problem - the phone came with a 'fake' global rom installed and it was impossible to bind the phone and account. The way I got around it was to flash the latest Chinese stable rom (it isn't possible to flash the global rom while the bootloader is locked) onto the phone and then I was able to bind the phone and account. Once I got to this stage I was then able to request unlock permission which now takes 360 hours (15 days). Once the 15 days have elapsed the bootloader can be unlocked and you are then free to install the latest global rom.
To fix IMEI problem:
1.) Reboot to fastboot mode
2.) Run command: fastboot erase modemst1
3.) Run command: fastboot erase modemst2
4.) IMEI fixed!
For bootloader unlock,if you cant add Mi account to your phone,it is problem, becouse you have to submit phone to unlock request (via developer mode).
Try this: Go to Developer settings, check "Allow OEM unlock" option and then try add MiAccount via next option "Mi unlock status"

I agree with everything here, good job. Just want to add something to "unlock bootloader": if you recieve some error "it can't be added", download a VPN with the location in china. There is one app (at least) where you can create an fake account (e.g. 10 minute mail) and have 1 day of premium. Point it onto china and try to add your mi account again, that should do the trick.
Good luck and have fun ^^ ask if you have some problems!

The answer is: NANOMACHINES, SON!
Just kidding, you have to point onto the root folder, if the system can't find the "flash.bat" you might be one folder too deep. If you get an error message during flashing then you might have a problem in terms of compatibility.
I still don't know yet, what the NSF means by mentioning the computer system with the "blue face for an interface" as an solution to xiaomis bootloader incompatibility issue. It seems suspicious, that some valuable forum posts have gone missing... wondering what the NSF is up to.

(Trackfone) Alcatel Tcl Lx [A502dl] : Help unlock bootloader & rooting

As in the title, I have an, Alcatel Tcl Lx A502dl, Android phone, originally purchased from Walmart with a Trackfone Sim card (Now there is no sim card insterted).
I have spent all day, up until now, figuring out how to link abd and fastboot to the phone using USB debugging, and I have been successful this far. I had downloaded latest "platform-tools_r29.0.1-windows" from here on XDA, and I downloaded latest "fatsboot" from "HighonAndroid.com", for a quicker experience, without wasting time and effort on Java downloads. In addition to all this, I let the computer search the network for updating driver software, for my Alcatel phone. I also downloaded "UniversalAdbDriverSetup", from the former link, @highonandroid.com.
I linked both file pathways for corresponding "Fastboot", and "platform-tools", into the environment variables, under the term: "Path", yes, using a ";" with no spaces to add the new pathways.
I had success linking my phone onto the "abd" program, the phone is listed under "abd devices" command. I could not seem to get a listing of my phone serial number, under the "fastboot devices" command?
I have tried to get "platform-tools" to put the phone into "fastboot/bootloader" mode, but the phone simply reboots, back to the lockscreen. I have also tried on "Fastboot", to "fastboot reboot bootloader", and my Alcatel again reboots to the lockscreen. All the while, I activated the OEM unlocking switch/setting in the "developer options" of my phone, from the beginning, before I ever gave any commands?
Why won't my Alcatel phone reboot into the "fastboot/bootloader" screen, where I could command "fastboot oem unlock"? Why does my phone respond to both programs, yet still she loads the lockscreen?
I am new to all this, not really a tech savvy individual, just wanted a liberated operating system for my line of work...
I need bootloader unlocked in order to root my device via computer, correct?
I can not check to see if my bootloader is unlocked, not by abd tools, or by numerical code in my "dialer app". The app crashes, and any time I attempt the "fastboot oem device-info" command, no device is listed, only a <looking for a device> prompt of sorts appears. I have been told this may be because, the drivers were not installed properly, or the device was not properly connected under some other issue, and I can try to fix this error by reinstalling drivers... what would the issue be?
I need help, and I would appreciate some guidance on rooting my Android, as there are not any threads in the forum, on this model of Alcatel, that I am aware of?
I am doing all of this on a Windows 7 computer, in a Library, just so you all know. I ask for administrative approval for most things.
Thank you.

I can't possibly express how much I would love for you to elaborate on the 'use init.d for always root' part. Anyone else who knows, please jump in. Start by pretending I am an idiot. Then stop pretending and explain it to me as if I were an adult who needs a full-time minder. First one to help me achieve "always root" on this terrible, wretched, little excuse for an electronic device gets my undying gratitude and um, maybe some Google Play money? I am open to ideas here on that score. To reiterate, need help rooting my Tracfone TCL LX A502DL that has a castrated recovery (seriously, you can't flash anything from adb, the option is flat-out missing) and apparently no fastboot access AT ALL. I could do another seriously in parentheses, but you need to take my word for it w/o a bunch of examples. The bright spot is the vulnerability the device has to the mtk-su exploit. Get a # in like no time at all. Time elapsed from executing the file to getting the prompt is too short for my flesh computer to register (unless you -v, then about 1.5 seconds.) So how do I turn a root prompt into full root?
I can't possibly express how much I would love for you to elaborate....

Just bumping this thread in case anyone has ideas for me. Seems like Alcatel has bootloader mode hidden on some phones. Here's my story: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=81780645#post81780645
BTW - I am using mtk-su and have root and Magisk via init.d scripts, but still can't touch /system or flash recovery because of
Code:
/dev/block/dm-0' is read-only
which won't change unti bl unlocked...
I never did get her to root. Alas she is a broken phone now RIP. Sorry for the disappointments. But I move on more hopeful. ?
As posted by Viva La Android in another thread about the tcl a501dl:
The TCL A1 (A501DL) cannot be bootloader unlocked. Although the OEM Unlocking option can be enabled in the Developer Options menu, fastboot mode has been made inaccessible by TCL. Because the bootloader cannot be unlocked, it simply is not possible to flash a custom recovery or a patched boot image for systemless root support. System-wide root is not possible due to TCL's secure boot chain configuration and dm-verity. Until an exploit is found to bootloader unlock this device, rooting is not possible.

unlock bootloader and root with https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
This device cannot be rooted. To date, there has not been a single validated claim of a rooted TCL A509DL. The bootloader cannot be unlocked, preventing root, custom ROM installs, etc.
UPDATE: After hearing from some members regarding the Hydra Tool, and doing a little bit of research on the method, it appears that I was completely wrong on my.statement. Members here on XDA as well as Hovatek have confirmed that the A509DL bootloader can indeed be exploited with the Hydra Tool method, opening the door to systemless root with Magisk. Thanks guys for the info and guidance. I have one of these devices and look forward to unlocking & rooting soon. Thanks @PrivyetCyka for the info.
Yes it can .. it was extremely easy to do so also..i have a rooted one in my hand as we speak the only issue is I was stupid and tried to flash the magisk zip in twrp and it set off secureboot so in working on fixing that .. but .. if you just use MTKClient you can pull the entire firmware , magisk patch then reflash the boot.img using the same tool and you can even install twrp I have the entire firmware , twrp, and magisk patched boot imgs for the device saved ,. If someone knows how to disable secureboot I would really appreciate it

I sure would like to give it a whirl, but I haven't had that phone in over a year
Anyway, I decided to stop buying devices made deliberately less functional by their manufacturers.

I stand corrected on my statement. I was incorrect. Out of curiosity, does the Hydra tool require the dongle in order to unlock the bootloader?
@PrivyetCyka send me the Magisk packed boot image and I will unpack it and disable secure boot. I can then pack it back up and link it to you. Are you referring to only secure boot or also AVB 2.0/dm-verity?
I didn't use hydra tool I used MTKClient from GitHub and did an entire system read back to have a backup then just renamed boot.bin to boot.img used magisk to patch it and then used the same MTKClient tool to reflash it... I have a twrp I made for it also but I don't know how functional it is as far as flashing things and backups , the only thing I tried to flash was the magisk zip just to see what would happen and that tripped the secureboot , I used the mediatek secureboot tool and it says it's disabled but it's still not booting past the secureboot fail screen.. when I get home I'll get the files and upload them tonight

Question Root Possibilities? - What has been tried and tested...

Hi All.
Yesterday I bought this thing and as with everything, I immediately attempted to begin rooting the damn thing.
Update: 6th of November 2021
I re-enabled Developer Options and OEM Unlocking became selectable. Don't know how.
NOTE #1: The Motorola Edge 20 Lite also is the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion
NOTE #2: This Motorola Edge 20 Fusion was bought in Australia with it Carrier Unlocked from JB HiFi (Tech shop)
So far I have been unsuccessful and as the 3rd of November 2021 am currently stuck at:
"Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking."
After 30 minutes of online chat with Motorola's support I ended up getting this response:
"Try to check if your device was listed here : https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/87215."
This info was already known to me
"You can reach-out some help at this site : Here's the link: https://forums.motorola.com/search?find=unlock+bootloader"
Yay. Great fun
The below steps are what I have tried so far
ROOT Attempt Steps
Enable Developer Options
Enable USB Debugging
Power off device
Power Button + Down Volume until startup
Volume Keys until "Recovery Mode"
Start
At "No Command" Hold Power and press the Up Volume
"Mount /System"
Enter FastBoot - This will restart once or twice
(On Windows) Open up cmd go to adb and fastboot installation folder
(On Windows) run "fastboot oem get_unlock_data" which should then "Wait for device"
Volume key to "Reboot to bootloader"
Eventually during the reboot it should provide you the oem unlock data
Follow the instructions here: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b
???
OEM Unlocking becomes selectable # NOTE: This became selectable on the 6th of November.
Profit
I am stuck at number 14 as for me it says "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking" and chatting with support tells me to go speak to a Developer on Lenovo's forum, but I would rather be dealing with XDA Developers honestly.
I am putting this all here for future men to attempt to figure out. Hopefully with time we will get a solution.
P.S. Two other options that I have seen elsewhere as well:
Factory Reset your device after getting your Sim Card installed and it Online
The it stay online for a Week and then "OEM Unlocking"
1st didn't work and I doubt 2nd will fix it.
Cheers.
> Root Possibilities? - What has been tried and tested...
It is possible.
Here is hints.
I already have rooted my Edge 20 Fusion with the standard ROM version RRK31.Q3-19-54
See https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-unlocked-bootloader-non-twrp-method.4222583/
You have to install the USB driver for Motorola smartphone before using adb.exe and fastboot.exe execution.
And execute adb.exe devices or fastboot.exe devices and check the connection between Edge 20 fusion and PC.
If the command says "Wait for device", it is failure the connection.
In good connection case, then we can see a DEVICE NAME.
The USB driver is here, https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/88481/
Maybe you get a little bit confuse because you can not find boot.img under "C:\ProgramData\LMSA\Download\RomFiles\".
In my case, I found boot.img file under "C:\ProgramData\RSA\Download\RomFiles\".
These paths are a little bit diffirent.
Patch boot.img by the Magisk on your Edge 20 fusion.
You have to unlock the bootloader before flashing patched boot.img file into your Edge 20 fusion.
Edge 20 fusion have boot_a and boot_b partitions.
Enjoy!

Came here lurking from DuckDuckGo. Sounds promising.
Only query I have is: would it be currently possible to unbrick the phone in case something goes wrong?
Unlock code and 72 hours wait for OEM unlock option to change from grey.. Worked great for me.
I googled RRKS31.Q3-19-97-3 and found a link to firmware on androidfilehost
Only extracted the boot.img to patch in magisk.
Flashed to boot_a and boot_b in fastboot. Job done

I had re-installed latest ROM by the Rescue and Smart Assistant from a booting loop accident.
1 week ago, I had made my Edge 20 Fusion booting loop accident.
At that time, I had accidentally corrupted the file /system/build.prop file.
I was so paniced.
Fortunately my Edge 20 Fusion booted with the fastboot mode.
Then, I had rescued(re-installed) my Edge 20 Fusion by the Rescue and Smart Assistant.
the Rescue and Smart Assistant makes to install latest ROM.
I noticed that the quality of the camera has improved on ROM RRKS31.Q3_19_98.
I am so happy now ;-)
Maybe we can recover a Edge 20 Fusion with manually flashing ROM.
Please be careful, I have no experience or conviction for a manual recovering.
And you should get and memo two IMEI numbers(slot 1 and slot 2) before rooting your device.
Because the Rescue and Smart Assistant checks IMEI number for the identify a device when we try to rescue.
I didn't have IMEI, but I was able to rescue it.
How to boot with the fastboot mode.
Volume down button + Power button.
Enjoy rooted environment.

Question A02S SM-A025G - Google Pay, McDonald's application doesn't work (Root problem)

Hello recently I tried to root my phone, wanting to fix ghost touch, I did something wrong and the phone stopped working, "Only official binary blah blah blah ..." popped up during startup, I decided to reinstall the official stock, the phone started working normally, even ghost touch repaired, I looked at the Root Checker application if I have root, it turned out not, which is all right, but when I want to add the card to google pay or open McDonald's applications, I get a message that the phone is rooted or was somehow rooted modified, what can I do in such a situation, please help me, I tried to install other stocks from other operators and restore the phone to factory settings: _ (
I saw one solution, probably in this forum where someone wrote to enable OEM Unlock and USB Debugging then disable and enable again, something like this, but I don't see OEM Unlock in the developer option, I know that with a failed root attempt, I somehow unlocked this option, but I don't remember how and I prefer someone to help me as best as he can, because I don't want to break anything anymore, I just want Google Pay to start working for me
OEM is probably hidden cause your device isnt older than 7 days. Connect to wifi and enable automatic time and date, than disable once done set the date atleast 7 day forward and oem should appear but you will have to lock ur bootloader before you disable oem and if you are running a custom firmawre make sure to backup data if you wanna go to normal firmware
But I use official firmware from some Samsung firmware site, i think my bootloader is locked, anyway do you have any solves to make work google pay?
I tried to unlock OEM but this solution with data & time doesn't work for me.
Hey, when I go to Google Play Shop there is an information that my device isn't certified, I tried to register my ID Device and still doesn't work can It be a problem, because of that Google Pay doesn't work?

If i wait 7 days OEM option should unlock automatically?
Is it good idea to root this device correctly and use magisk to make google pay work good or for example root this device and then unroot to make work google pay?

before you do this if odin says you are in custom mode backup all your data before doing this. no it wont automatically, first you have to go to odin mode and hold up for a bit until the screen shuts and shows the question (do you wanna lock your bootloader) you select yes once done if you are on custom it will bring up only odin mode before anything thats where u flash firmware, now that should get rid of the root, and then if u wanna disable oem connect to wifi disconnect date and time unselect automatically and go 7 days ahead and the option will appear.
How to check if i have custom mode and what i have to hold up?? please explain better because i don't know what i have to do
