If it is unsupported I suggest you do not try such apps even though its from CyanogenMod team. I hard bricked my galaxy mini with ROM Manager before when I was "just trying".

It will shortly moved in DEv section once ROM will be released as this is WIp not discussion.
Guys, I've just flashed the rom, but I don't get any signal.
I'm on new baseband and am using amonra 2.2.1b.
Edit: Reflashed, works now.
hi,
Today I've just flashed the rom on my p500.
The Rom still has many bugs, I have tried all
those listed in the official post but I have gsm signal and i can make call.
I have flashed the rom using ClockworkMod
directly from nightly # 6 cm, so with the new baseband.

Main advantage is that CM has many included patches, so it's far easier to get it works (well as we can see it's still pretty hard). Also it should have better launcher and some other apps. And I think CM settings are comimg in future.

:highfive: HELLO EVERYONE :highfive:
I have just bought my brand new XPERIA SOLA and I'm a little overwhelm with all the :crying:NOT USEFUL "tutorials" for the firsts steps for a completly new android user (NOOB :cyclops
I used to have a LG Optimus One P500 (Such a wonderfull device :good and I've learn the basics by myself (Whole days searching and bricking my old phone) and I though that now that I upgrade my gear to a SOLA I could help some new user through the first steps.
First - Some definitions
BOOTLOADER:
It's the initial "software" that gives the order to the Android System to turn on following certain steps (It's like the BIOS on a pc)
ROOT (SuperUser):
Is having the permisions to do anything you want with the Android System
SuperUser is the apps that appears after you ROOT your phone and tells you when an apps ask to do something important
CWM (ClockworkMod Recovery):
It's a powerful menu that you install on your device do be able to flash (Install) Custom ROMs
ROM (Read Only Memory):
It's the Operative system (Android of course) but
1 .A STOCK ROM: Is the System that you have when you just buy your phone, works well and has a lot of pre-installed apps
2 .A CUSTOM ROM: Is the System that you install by yourself and was made by taking the STOCK ROM and making some improvements

Hi there, I have downloaded the source of omnirom to build for my other device and I think that I can adapt the g2m device tree to omnirom
I can give you some builds of it but I won't be able to test them because I don't have the device
You guys can have the oportunity to have a no cm13 based rom because I think cm13 is a little buggy compared to stock android
If you want me to do it; you can say it here and you will encourage me to do it :highfive:
Of course!!!!
Sounds cool! I'll gladly test your omni builds.
If you need any help while building please feel free to contact me.

I actually don't have much time for this because I'm still at school and I have to study and do homework...
Besides, I have a issue, the brunch command is not recognizing the omnified device tree, I think I'm doing something wrong but I don't have much experience with this device...
Also my sources are on github, for anyone who wants to help me or wants to work with me...

Yes, I have some news!
I fix the building issue, what I forgot was to add the AndroidProducts.mk file that is necessary to start building the rom; and I added some stuff from CM-LG-MSM8226 and the vendor/lge that has the irrc patch added into the rom!
Now I'm compiling it :victory:

You should replace the quickremote apk from the patch at CM-LG-MSM8226 with the apk from the zip file patch. Otherwise there will be no providers.

Useless thread. Project was a failure. My tab got bootloader bricked. No more hopes.
I thank everyone who tried to help, but without a device, it's impossible for me to constantly test at my own pace and make sure everything works. However you can catch me in the Galaxy J2 threads, because I currently have that device
Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up

oh no, that's not fun. Well the T825 was experimental, I went completely blind into the T825 scene. I will try to make another device tree and see if everything works. For now, flash ashyx's TWRP through ODIN again.
And by the way thanks a lot for testing, I had been itching to know what was wrong or correct : D
