Installed ok, though no warning about overwriting 'serail3.dll' as promised.
Turned phone on, composed fax, went to send. Falls over with msg 'no carrier detect'. Phone goes off automatically then back on again. Noticed that 'com2' was mentioned.
Turned phone off and tried same. Fax just hangs 'querying modem'
Shame - a fax option would be handy (or do I need some extra service activating from o2 UK??)

I have read your post with attention; I have had this proble with XDA2:
problems with a trial version of kse Truefax with my XDA II, alias QTEK 2020.
After a succesful installation of the programme I have tested it. I can send faxes but I can’t receive. So I decided to cancel it definitively. Performed an hard reset and reinstalled the previous situation using restore. After this hard reset Pocket Outlook don’t work. I am not be able to open Pocket Outlook. Performed again an hard reset, and without using the restore I have tested the empty PDA: now Pocket Outlook work, but I have noted that when I open Pocket Outlook and then I close it using the “x” button, when appear again the today screen it flashes in a strange manner. What I can do? I have damaged the PDA in some manner? Thanks guys for your kind collaboration

Problem
When trying to use data services on a Sprint Mogul configured for Alltel - Dialing #777 results in a "Cannot connect for unknown reason" message.
Voice and Text works fine.
Current Setup
PPC 6800 - SPC Reset to 000000 via QPST
oliPro 2.4
Radio 3 42 50
DCD 3 2 6
Alltel Carrier Cab 20080824 (I simply double clicked to install this right?)
PRL: 30031 and 40036 tried
ALWAYS ROAMING (I'm never in an Alltel Area)
Windows Connections settings: Alltel Wireless - #777 - login: [email protected] pass: alltel domain: empty
My Flash Steps
1) hard reset
2) Installed olipro 2.4 (and even tried with no2chem 2 47) via RUU
3) Flashed alltel Stock 3.35.671.9 with Radio via RUU
4) Let customizations run

DMU Key Reset. Either activate an old phone... wait a bit... get it working... then re-activate the new one. Or... call them.... tell them your phone doesn't get data, and you just did a hard reset. They might be able to fix it for you while you are on the phone.
Case Closed!
I called alltel and asked them to look at at performing a DMU Reset - while looking at my account they realized a few glitches (why they did not catch it before I'm not sure) and made changes.
They included:
Updating my Service Class to Simple IP only
Double Checking my AAA Authentication log and realized that a billing issue was not connected (Damn, they should have left this alone )

The solution I find out by doing some research on Bing, is:
1. Unlock the Registry on WM by changing:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies
00001001, Dword, 1 (originally is 2, change it to 1)
00001005, Dword, 40 (originally is 16, change it to 40)
2. after step 1, turn off the security warning by changing:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\
0000101a, Dword, 1 (Originally is 0)
After that the problem is solved.
Please note: This solution is only for people who has the right setup of Gen.Y Dualboot. If you see any information like "android is missing", that means your setup has problem.
My device is TP2, Rhod100.
Hope this solution can be useful to some people.

I`m facing the problem since last kies update. When I connect device via wi-fi to PC, kies air message show notification that device is connected and everything is perfect, but when I try to compose message or explore a contacts, I receive an error with "service not responding" -> "check solution online and close program". Tried to install older version of Kies, but it didn`t help.
I`m running W7 and JB 4.1.1 on mobile.
Can anyone suggest something?

The MCU is responsible for the interaction between my Android car radio and the connected Canbus box. In the past, I unfortunately overwrote the factory MCU from the Chinese and have had problems activating the buttons on the radio ever since. They are assigned incorrectly and cannot be programmed correctly. Although the "correct" car model is selected, the buttons on the radio do not work properly; the steering wheel buttons work fine.
Well, the Russian dealer and his technical support and also the warranty department can't seem to help me any further, nor can the forums 4PDA, RedMOD and XDA. I therefore have to get to the factory MCU of the Chinese myself and have already analyzed and recorded the Car Choose App with IDA and the network traffic with Proxymon. I have a disassembly with SMALI files ready in case anyone needs it to help me.
The Car Choose App makes specific POST requests to the server with the following content, recorded with Proxymon. This is only one example.
